This was our introduction to NY pizza. The wings were $2 each on their app that was not working so I looked on Door Dash and the chicken was $3 and that's where I drew the line $35 for 12 wings is absurd. We ordered a salad and it came with no fork or dressing, French fries no ketchup. The pizza and crust were a nice intro to NYC pizza. read more

The pizza bottom is thin ! Pick up the slice and it just bends over :(. The crust is crispy but the bottom half of pizza just flops. Sauce is extra tomato-y lacks season . Ask for extra seasonings garlic , cheese , red pepper , oregano and never comes. They are quick tho. read more

Do you remember that scene in the Goofy movie where they're all eating that amazing cheesy pizza? Where you can hardly focus on the dialogue because the pizza looks so good? Where you're left wishing that a pizza like that existed in real life? Well guess what. This is that pizza. Ooey gooey cheesy and delicious, this is the pizza that people who have never been to New York think of when they think of New York pizza. Dados is a gem. Friendly staff, super quick delivery, and a nice spot to hang out after I get off the bus sometimes. My friends from out of town are already asking if we can get this pizza when they visit. Pizza Done Right! This is pizza done right! They've got a thin, crispy crust that's just perfect, and the sauce and cheese are spot on. I'm a huge fan of their Margarita slice in particular. I ordered a veggie slice and paid. Once I got it, I realized it didn't have cheese. It's my normal order, I've never had a veggie slice sans cheese. I asked why, they said "It's veggie" and I said "Yes, not vegan". He told me to ask for cheese next time. It wasn't a great slice. It was pretty, though, not flavorful. I was so excited to catch Dado's soft opening today- their official launch party is this Wednesday from 5-8pm, you should definitely stop by if you're in Harlem! I ordered two slices of pizza (one plain cheese and one pepperoni) and a root beer and had a nice chat with the owner David. The slices I had were delicious! Good crust, great sauce and perfect cheese. The pepperoni were slightly spicy without being too spicy (thats a huge plus for me) and I can't wait to come back on Wednesday to try their margherita pizza and caesar salad. In addition to the good pizza, Dado's is super cute and very clean! There are a few stools inside and a nice long bench out front. Nice seating area with a window to people watch and they get bonus points for the recycling can! David and his staff were very friendly and professional. They were all wearing masks and hand sanitizer was provided. The menu looks great, the slices I tried were delicious, they have plenty of cool drinks and good vibe atmosphere. They have great Monday night deals (1/2 off in house pies) but the bar is a bit weird and the pizza was just ok. Sauce needs more flavor. I might go again but it won't be a first choice. I ordered on a blind choice and was so pleasantly surprised. The delivery was within the promised time (20 mins) and the pepperoni pie (my fave) turned out to be the best I ever had; I was very happily surprised. The slice practically melted in my mouth and the flavors melded so well that it was a work of art. I never knew "the lowly pizza" could tasted so good. Moved into the neighborhood before Dado's arrival and it was really a struggle not having a good slice shop nearby. Now that Dado's is here we really cannot get enough of their pizza!! All of the slices are delicious but I would recommend the pepperoni, vodka or margarita. Also, highly recommend putting some hot honey on your slice and gulping it all down with a can of Brooklyn's Best (have not found this drink in other shops!) If you're in the neighborhood give them a try you won't regret it! read more

Nice little pizza spot. The lady working the front was very friendly! I went with the plain slice, it was good! They have hot honey as a topping choice. Surprisingly it was an amazing combo. I also got their garlic knots not the best I had but certainly not the worst. I would definitely just stick with the the slices if I had to choose one. Have ordered a few more times, and I can say that Dado's is now my favorite pizza in the area. Quality has been consistently good, the food is delicious, and the guys working there are really nice. The pizza is fantastic and as I said in my initial review, they have a quality over quantity approach - a handful of toppings/styles but all are substantially better than anything else around. The Caesar salad is a really generous portion - my only nitpick is I wish they gave two cups of dressing (one is not enough for the whole large salad they serve). Love this place and I'm very grateful they opened across the street from me! read more

Let me just say that the food was great, but I could do without the attitude of the wait staff. The waiter got super sensitive when I mentioned my disdain for Ariana Grande, and not only did he play her music on repeat, but he snatched my unfinished drink off the table and demanded that we close out immediately. Don't let the odd location fool you, the food here is outstanding. The Neapolitan and Sicilian-style pizzas are both exceptional, with rich, well-balanced flavors and perfectly executed crusts. Every bite tastes high quality. Also, don't skip the house-made lemonade! The experience is even better because of the incredibly friendly and attentive staff. They were all so kind to so many people. From offering to keep leftovers in the fridge until a customer was done at their broadway show, to offering a scone to a young child while he and his father waited for their pizza to be done, it was more than just flipping a table and onto the next tip, it was humanity at its best.
