Solid 4 stars burger. It was very good but somehow not memorable. I don't think I will go out of my way to eat there but it's definitely a place to check out once. read more

Our all time favorite! This restaurant has been a staple in our community for many years! The cheeseburgers are the best! Don't forget the fries! read more

Can't go wrong with a double cheese burger and small fries. So so good. Make it an awesome burger meal with their butterscotch milk shake. It's all about the fries though! read more

Very good burger, juicy and cheesy; their famous fries are covered in grease (this can be fun at times but only for special occasions); the onion rings were a little bit dry. I'd try it again. read more

They are always busy because they are so good. Not really any parking very hard to park but once u get in its worth the trouble lol read more

Daglas Drive In - #3 combo!!! Was gooooood - Burgers Near Me - Winnetka, California

Pretty great hamburgers but they have a bunch of other stuff too. It's quite a good value that means few will walk away, still hungry. Nothing fancy just good honest value. read more

I've been coming here since I was a little kid and this place is hands down the best local burger joint. There fries are a must!!

Still the best place to get s burger and chill after a long day . Going down memory lane is always fun. Food always made to order. Staff is always happy and the place is clean . read more

Ordered online, called 10 min later to make sure it would take the 30 min it said. They said the order is ready! Took me 10 min to get there so the food was cold.. my double cheese burger was not med- rare and they forgot the cheese. Really. The price is not bad, but i suggest you eat there it is not good to go. First time here. All of my co-workers said it was good , the best.. but ive had better. read more

I have been going to Daglas for decades. They now have post pandemic prices. A 20 oz soda is 3.59 with NO REFILLS. are you kidding me. But, they still have the best fries in the Valley. Huge portion for 5.65. Just get your food to go and get your drink at McDs for $1.00. I did not order a burger or sandwich but was shocked by the prices. read more

The cheeseburger & hamburger were absolutely delicious. The chile cheese fries we soggy & very disappointing & the regular fries were also soggy. Maybe if we were able to eat there it would have been better but due to Covid19 we had to bring it home. We will order again, maybe not the fries. read more

In town for a couple days and saw this place had great looking burgers! The customer service was eh.... ok. Not really the warm and friendly vibes you get from a mom n pop type place. A cheeseburger and fries (no drink) cost about $10. The fries were surprisingly seasoned and really delicious! The burger was alright. But holy heck did it give me a stomach ache for the whole 2 days I was here. Not sure what that's about. read more

Came here for a quick lunch since I was in the area. This place had been recommended to me. I got fries and a cheeseburger. I didn't think there was anything special about the Burger and it was a little dry for my taste. It was okay but I didn't finish it. The seasoned fries were amazing. Just an FYI... the bag of fries are huge and in my opinion can feed at least 3-4 people. They have window pick up and an area outside to sit and eat. Staff was friendly and food was ready in about 10 min. I ordered a few things. Prices are fair. There is some parking on the side street. Since it had been recommend a lot, I would say to at least try it once. But I don't think I will return for the burger. read more

Great burgers. Order small fries and you won't be able to finish them. I've been going here for probably 20 years. Never had a bad experience. read more

Pastrami did not taste like pastrami just taste like meat there was a lot of it, it is a big sandwich but didn't have a pastrami flavor

Bought two burger combos that came with two huge bags of limp and oil soaked fries. Terrible. I won't be going there any time soon. read more

Neighborhood staple and the valley "fry-day" must. Been coming to Daglas for 12 years for their fries and burgers. It's a valley must have!!! read more

The fries are great but they don't carry well. That's okay, sometimes you need to enjoy fries fresh from the fryer, marry them with a generous shake of salt, and let the world go by. Get a side of bleu cheese and whatever else you order will be the 'side order'. read more

Always a great burger. But we go for the fries! So much fries. Prepare for leftovers!! I have been a visitor for over 20 years and the quality of the burger has never changed! Its bomb. Great service, quick and good read more

This place has been around forever. My mom grew up eating here and I grew up going here as well. Has a special spot in my heart because of that, but leaving an honest opinion that it is alright. The fries though are definitely a 4/5 alone. read more

MY bookmark note for this was "old school LA" and that is 100% accurate. Come here for good, old fashioned, unhealthy burgers coupled with a mountain of fresh fries and a giant soda. Wear a loose belt. read more

So many times drove by this place and thought I should try it. And it finally happened. My conclusion: I must give a chance to the places that are less knows! Thanks to Yelp I found Daglas's place, and now I am planning to be here a lot. Good unhealthy food (as much as this combination of words make sense lol). Had double burger and a mountain of fries. Tasted really good. Maybe just a little greasy for me. Now I decided once every couple weeks to try new restaurants I have never been to based on Yelp. read more

One of the best greasy places in town. Had the pastrami and gyro sandwich with chili fries. Minus 1 staR for not giving you pickleS with you sandwich. Needed a little sour to go along with all the hearty eating. read more

Simply: The Best French Fries in Los Angeles, the only fries that are comparable are at Al's French Fry in Burlington, VT. The best deal on french fries anywhere. Daglas fries is a little slow but the generous portion of fries that they include with their burgers or that you get with an order of fries are truly fantastic. They use the whole potato, including the skin and an assortment of longer and tiny crispy pieces with the fries. They use a delicious mildly seasoned salt. The fries are the freshest you can get. One warning: if you get the fries take out, they will put them in a plastic grocery bag, beware, a few minutes steaming themselves in this bag will turn these delicious fries into mush, opt out of the plastic take out bag... read more

Saturday afternoon. Found myself at Pierce college with a friend. The munchies led us to Daglas, which is super close to the college. We parked in the next lot over, because the drive in to Daglas' lot is pretty narrow. We walked over and found quite a few people chowing down on some old fashion burger shack delights. The pictures above the windows don't do these goodies justice. I ordered the pastrami sandwich with chili chees fries, while my friend got the double cheeseburger combo. The pastrami was GREAT! not too greasy, perfect slices of meat, a good amount of pickles and mustard and a proprtional loaf of bread. The fries on the other hand were not that great. The chili was a bit bland. The portion was great for a small, but it need something... Spice! My friend's burger looked pretty awesome! And it hit the spot, because she barely ate her fries, and you get a lot of them! I have to deduct a few points, for not offering jalepeños or pepperoncini. No hot sauce or ranch dressing either, which can be crucial to an order of fries. Ideally it's not the kind of place I would like to sit and eat at all the time, but a Saturday afternoon worked for me. The food seems like it would survive and marinate while you get take-out. Fair prices... You can get full for under $10. And the food ain't too bad!! If you're cruising around, it's a decent stop. read more

I'm eating a Daglas burger and their famous fries as I type this, so a fresher review you'd be hard pressed to find. I'm going to go slightly against the grain here and say that their fries, although good, are definitely over-hyped. Now that's not to say that I'm still not eating shovelfuls at a time, but still, they are not as **spectacular** as people are saying, just plain ol' **good** (which is still better than most). And yes, they do give you (to quote Monica G.) "a garbage bag full of fries". I ordered a size "small", but I assure you that most fast food joints fit entire burger+fries COMBOS into a bag that size. The burger, on the other hand, is great. I got a no-frills cheeseburger (which is how I like to "test drive" new burger joints). Pretty friggin' awesome. It's got that down-home backyard BBQ flavor to it, but you can tell that it's been cooked by a professional and not your self-proclaimed "king of the grill" uncle. And it's bigger than my fist (I should probably also mention that I have above-average sized hands). The service was also great -- both guys I dealt with were welcoming, friendly, and courteous. All in all, Daglas gets a solid A. read more

Delicious!!! double cheeseburgers with a bag full of FRIES!?!?! Each customer!!!! What more can you ask for!? Oh and there onion rings are gold a crispy I'm already getting hungry just typing this lol and the milkshakes after very recommend!! I love there butterscotch milkshake!!! One of the landmarks in Winnetka and you will not be disappointed if you love fries! They give you a HUGE bag full of deliciousness. Of course this is NOT the place you want to go if you are on a diet. I don't even know how long it has been here but if you live in the area chances are you've been there! If you go/went to Taft High School chances are you've been there!! Basically if you haven't been you kinda need to try. You should eat your fries there or it WILL get soggy at home. Regular Fries- a brown lunch bag full Large Fries- a tray full of fries. Location is across the street from Canoga Park Bowl read more

1st time here, place was poppin' (real busy)we went around 1230 on a Sunday. Line was quick, and food came out pretty fast. We ordered a Bacon Avocado Double Cheeseburger combo with fries(the regular fry is huge, totally enough for 2 people) also got A couple burgers with bacon add avocado. All around the burgers were tasty! If you get fries, eat them there, dont take them to go, they got super soggy... but the seasoning on them is good! Also, they have a lot of places to sit inside/outside. Park in the Cupids Hot Dog parking lot located behind Daglas(Lots of parking) All in all we will be back soon! Can't wait to try the chili cheese fries!!! read more

Daglas Drive In - Bacon Avocado Double Cheeseburger! - Burgers Near Me - Winnetka, California

This place was pretty amazing. You would never suspect this place in a hole in the wall to have some of the best pastrami you ever had. They have a combo with pastrami and fries but the picture on the menu is definitely a misrepresentation. I mean that in the best way... as you get sooooo much food for the price. I was so surprised when I got the combo, i'm like, I wasn't prepared to eat all of it. They pile on the yummy fries and the pastrami looked like the bread could barely support all the juicy meat shoved in there, I thought it was gonna burst. If you go to LA, you have to make this one of the top 10 places to eat, especially if you love pastrami. Skip the Hat, come to Daglas instead. read more

As previously mentioned by Courtney, Daglas looks like a little burger shack but don't let the looks deceive you. Prices are reasonable or a comparison to Carl's Jr prices but more food. I ordered 2 of the Jalapeno Burgers, & one double cheeseburger. No the food was not for me, but I was able to taste it & it was pretty darn good. You may want to share some fries with a friend because they give you a ton of them & they are fresh fries. Staff was nice & food was done quite quick, parking sorta sucks but the food was worth it. read more

After all the hoopla about Daglas being one of the best places for fries, I decided to give this hidden gem a chance... and to my amazement, this place indeed had some great seasoned fries. Everyone in line recommended getting the fries, and the specialty did not disappoint. Very friendly service and top notch food quality. I stuck with the pastrami combo and the quality/quantity met our expectation. Highly recommended for a quick/cheap/fulfilling eat! read more
