5 out of 5 Ambiance, Service and food all perfect…read more Came here with the girls! My second time here and a first for my friends We started with the crudo and the whipped ricotta and the carpaccio for me the whipped ricotta was amazing with the date syrup and the olive oil and the carrots gave it a perfect crunch I hope they never change it I had the Lumache omg what can I say but it was simply amazing so delicious my friend had the Mafaldine another amazing dish it had a smoky taste to it that was so yummy and my other friend had the special dish of the day which was the black bass fish she loved it We also tried the tiramisu which was a little dry for my taste but we also tried the Lemon Olive Oil Cake which in my opinion should be called Limoncello Cake because it has a very profound taste of lemon which reminds me of limoncello lol it was super moist and delicious a must try! Definitely will be coming back!

The scallion pancake was a bit small but it was super delicious. The chicken katsu had an interesting tangy flavor and was nice and crispy. Service (4/5): Top notch service with super friendly staff. Really friendly waitress who was helpful and great! Only issue we had was we were asked if we wanted a bread refill for the Whipped Ricotta and we didn't know it's cost $5 which surprised us a bit on the check. Ambiance (5/5): Nice interior ambiance and super well designed restaurant. We walked by many times and got drawn by the beautiful interior which is why we came. Classy and nice vibe.

This is a cozy, mom-and-pop restaurant run by a husband-and-wife duo, where Chef Ruby Felix-Curtis is the mastermind behind all the creative fusion dishes. I honestly want to try EVERY SINGLE ITEM on the menu. *Longanizza Sliders $16 Weekend special. As a longanizza lover, this might be the best slider I've had in a long time. Super juicy pork patty with bang bang sauce. Heard there's a chance it'll stay on the regular menu if enough people show it some love! *Kare Kare Mafaldini $28 Inspired by Filipino kare kare, they toss fresh handmade malfadini in a rich peanut sauce with shrimp paste instead of serving it over rice. The sauce takes 6 hours to make, and the beef brisket is braised for 3 hours. Truly a labor of love! Even the Peruvian pepper was so juicy I wanted more. *Bibingka Pancake $17 Every table ordered the bibingka pancake. Our jaws literally dropped when it arrived. MASSIVE, super fluffy, moist, and packed with salted egg (both the yolk and the white!). Though we did find it a little too salty after a few bites. We had leftovers for two more meals.

The ambiance is warm and welcoming, making it a great spot for an intimate dining experience. That said, the space is quite small, so it's not ideal for larger groups. Definitely worth the wait if you can snag a table!

Came to pick up and was greeted and promptly acknowledged as soon as I came in. Quickly got my food and had a pleasant interaction with the lady/Manager. tried all the standard fare like Roti canai, skewers, fried rice, char kway teow, etc. everything was delicious, including the oily rice. Hit the spot so well I forgot to take a picture. Was thinking about getting more to go for my trip home, but I will just have to come back. Great spot and would definitely try eating there next time.

It has ample parking and tons of seating--but sadly, the food was uneven at best. We got: - Roti Telur: This was decent but could've had more green chilies. Despite dining with a Malaysian, I think we were served the roti at Western spicy levels. - Mamak Udang Mee Noodle Soup: Not bad. Could've used more shrimp, but there's never enough shrimp in these things. - Nasi Lemak: Bland. Greasy. Sigh-inducing. - Tofu Nyonya with Vegetable: Deep-fried bean curd chunks stir-fried with vegetables and red peppers. The menu said there'd be basil, but there was no basil. It was also way too salty. - Mamak Style Fried Rice: The menu said this was coconut rice, but I didn't taste anything nutty. Appreciated the shrimp and veggies, but it wasn't the least bit spicy....and the menu said there'd be spiciness! Le sigh. Service was fine, but it definitely goes over better if you can speak Cantonese. Sadly, we were told there are no actual Malaysians on staff anymore. As my wallet can't handle multiple trips to Malaysia every time I crave nasi goreng, I think I'm going to have to keep bridge-and-tunneling to find a suitable version Stateside.

A Decade of Love on a Plate: A Local Favorite That Punches Above Its Weight…read more This place is the definition of a neighborhood gem--the kind you almost want to keep secret, yet can't stop yourself from praising. Cheap and cheerful on the surface, it punches way above its weight class, delivering inventive, clean, Asian-inspired food that's masterfully cooked by clearly skilled hands--and made with real love. I've been coming back year after year for most of this restaurant's 10-year lifespan, and that consistency is no accident. Every dish tastes intentional, thoughtful, and deeply satisfying, with a clear goal: to feed people love on a plate. It's a super veggie/vegan friendly that easily wins over even my "meat and potatoes" husband--who happily cleans his plate every time. In an era where genuine hospitality feels increasingly rare, Perry single-handedly restored my faith that quality service is not extinct. Warm, attentive, and authentically kind, Perry makes every guest feel seen, welcome, and cared for--without pretense or attitude. This is food that nourishes, service that uplifts, and a place that keeps you coming back not just for the flavors, but for how it makes you feel. A true neighborhood treasure.

Mediocre food and very slow service!…read more This place was a disappointment for what I hoped from a highly rated ramen place in the area. The service was quite slow, almost waited 1 hour for entrees to be brought to the table. It's a small place with limited staff working everything. The food was fairly basic. The fried rice seemed to be bland and below par despite ordering the spicy version. My friend who ordered the ramen liked the soup but the meat was not fully cooked and felt chewy.

From the moment we walked in, the owner personally seated us and ended up cooking our food himself. He has a quirky, memorable personality that adds to the charm of the whole experience. It's the kind of place where you can tell the food is made with intention rather than being rushed out of a big commercial kitchen. The dishes were packed with flavor and tasted very authentic. You can really tell the ingredients and spices are balanced the way Thai food should be -- bold, savory, a little spicy, and deeply satisfying. Everything we ordered had great texture and presentation as well. Overall, it was a unique dining experience with authentic flavors and a memorable host. If you're looking for a polished corporate restaurant this isn't it -- but if you want something personal, quirky, and genuinely delicious, Prince & I is absolutely worth visiting. You have to wait until it is your turn for him to cook your food. The menu is confusing and difficult to understand, but basically it is pad thai, noodle soup or a crepe all with your choice of protein. We had the beef crepe and chicken pad thai. Both were excellent.
