I haven't been to a DQ since I was probably four or five years old, and I wanted to give it a chance while I was in Casa Grande. It is a small location on the corner of Florence and Marshall, and the mirrors inside the restaurant kind of creep me out because I feel like I'm about to get lost in a carnival funhouse, but the interior of the establishment is clean, and the staff is nice. I ordered a bacon ranch burger meal, and it was pretty tasty. A little on the small side, but also a good portion size and fresh. The fries were not overly salted at all, and when I asked for a small to-go bag, the staff kindly provided it so I wouldn't have to waste food. I had a lovely experience, and I would recommend this to others in the area. read more

It's free come day! They handled it with grace, plenty of staff working. They had someone taking orders walking the drive thru which helped. Waited for 7 cars in front of me. I went tonight and specifically asked for lightly blended cheescake blizzard with chuck of cheesecake and banana. when it came out to me. they didn't even flip it to make sure it was okay. I opened it once I got home and it was dripping everywhere and was WAY too blended. I don't want it like that and they didn't give me what I wanted. Last time i am ever coming again! read more

Dairy queen is a perennial favorite in my house can't find better than peanut Buster parfait

My husband always orders Swirl Cones when we stop at a Dairy Queen. He just got the best one in years. It's not that the ice cream was any better than other locations; it's that someone at the Casa Grande location actually knew how to twirl the cone as it filled with ice cream so that you could see the two flavors/colors spiralling upward. We all know that a DQ Blizzard has the added stuff blended throughout the ice cream. Today we got our Blizzards that had all the added stuff sitting at the bottom of the cup with the ice cream then simply added on top. No blending of the two what-so-ever. Please train your staff to take the time to make the Blizzards correctly. read more

We had a good experience here. It's not always what happens at fast food restaurants but it sure did here. Employees were nice and they even got the order right. The only issue we had is no fault of anyone there but the turn driving thru the drive-thru is nearly impossible if you're in a good sized pickup. We had to park and walk. Food was hot and good. I'm pretty much a blizzard addict. Been to a lot of DQ's around the country and in AZ. I pretty much get the same blizzard every time, Reese's Blizzard with chocolate ice cream and cocoa fudge. Probably one of the best I've ever had was from this DQ tonight. They had a long line and got through it as if there was only one car in front of me. Deserving of this five star rating! read more

After raising prices here, and being charged almost $6 for a peanut buster parfait, we will not return, but instead we will go to McDonalds for Ice Cream sundaes and ice cream cones, as they are much cheaper, almost half the price. McDonald's ice cream tastes just like the DQ, and so why pay double the cost? A year ago when we lived in Colorado, all the DQ's businesses had greatly diminished because they had become so expensive, and yet McDonald's was thriving and making a killing on their affordable ice cream cones and sundaes, especially during the summer. We never went to the Dairy Queen in Colorado. When we moved here, prices were cheaper at the DQ, and so once in awhile we would stop for other items, even though the majority of the time we went to McDonald's for cones and sundaes. But now, here in Casa Grande, the prices have all gone up at the DQ. Therefore, McDonald's will continue to be our place for soft serve ice cream. read more

I've been snowbirding here for about 12 years now, including many regular trips to this DQ in downtown Casa Grande. The facility may look abit shopworn, but the Staff is always hardworking and pleasant. The food is always as ordered and what I expect when visiting a Dairy Queen ...which I have over the past 75years. I left a 1 Star here about a year ago and decided to give this location another try today. After waiting in line at the drive through for 20 minutes we get up to order and they tell us the only ice cream machine is broken... which was the only reason we came here. Use to go here about 4 to 5 times a week. Went there tonight at 7:00 at the drive thru. No one in front of me and couldn't get anyone to take my order. I pulled up to the window and there was a valley girl convention going on behind the counter. A girl finally came over to see if anyone took my order. Told her no. Ordered 2 medium hot fudge sundaes. I have always loved this Dairy Queen since I was a little girl but after they changed management the service has been bad. There are times when the back is so crowded and nothing gets done. Today on July 15th, 2019, my family and I went to this Dairy Queen and there were 3 girls at the drive tru window. We ordered 4 medium sundaes and as we were at the window waiting, the 3 girls rushed through our order. I like Dairy Queen but the 2 that are in Casa Grande should be avoided. Not vary clean and not EZ to get in and out of the parking lots. The people at both look like they hate life and feel that you are bugging them to make a order. At my last visit (the one by the high way) I just got a Blizzard and when I got it might as well have been vanilla with a bit of flavoring to it. Super disappointed. Before I pulled up to this location I made sure that I came in before closing which online said closed at 11 pm. I pulled up to the drive thru and it was 10:05 lights were still up on the menu boards and inside. The "open" neon sign was still on and was not served.
