I was visiting this store nightly to usually get a taco, 2 blizzards, and fill 2-40oz tumblers with ice, as we are staying at the Bent Tree motel for the Holiday, and is within walking distance. Some nights I would just go for ice in the WHOPPING 40oz tumblers. Well unfortunately one night they wanted to charge me for ice. As a former Dairy Queen employee I know how much food, sweet and unsweetened tea is tossed out! Come on really? Charging for what ultimately is probably 60oz of ice, are times that tuff for this Dairy Queen? I think not as the drive through has a waiting line most of the time for lunch and dinner and the dining room always has a few tables occupied. BOOOOOIO on this franchise! Best Dairy Queen anywhere around. I regularly drive to Dallas and live between Rockwall and Greenville, and this beats any Dairy Queen within those 70+ miles between Dallas and Emory. Service is always great, menu is bigger than most Dairy Queens, and restaurant is always clean. read more

Friends and neighbors, this is the real deal here. Their malts have real Mountain Dew and their burgers have real meat in them. Nice little independent Dairy Queen. This is the first one I've been to that offers tater tots and curly fries as well as the regular fries and onion rings. The cheeseburger patty was a little thin, but good overall. Chocolate milkshake was delicious and the side portions are huge! The staff was friendly and the inside dining room was clean. read more

Stopped on a long drive from south Texas to Iowa. The employee had to read back our order several times, I'm assuming for her own sake not ours. It was very annoying. Then, we sat for 20+ minutes until we finally went up and asked where our order was. After they finally got us our food, the gravy that comes with our baskets was missing. Had to go up again and ask for two gravy's. Whoever was in the kitchen seemed to think we were asking for extra gravy and was being pissy about it like we weren't being charged for it. Very disappointed in the Dairy Queen. Order our food. We went to sit down. The guy bring the food gave someone else food to another customer. Take it the customer open the box and burger bag. One of the other customer said hey that's my order. The guy looks at the man weird. Goes back to the people he left their food with. Pick it then gave it to the right customer. Then we received our food before the customers that order before us. So here is the problem. The bread was cold and hard,the cheese was cold not even melted my patty. My husband said his burger and onion rings over cooked. To many young adults cooking and serving the food. The other customer received his food. The patty was burnt . The staff here will choose to not wait on you or take your order. I was very cordial and polite when I asked why. If you ask why, the manager will scream at you. I left. I didn't know why they were so angry. I knew I'd writ e a review. I wanted to know why. I asked then at the drive through. Manager yelled stating "you are banned from this store. You are not welcome here". The owner said when the manager said on the drive through intercom, this was appropriate. The franchise owner told corporate, he reviewed "the video". Video? Of her yelling and me at the other end of the speaker? Corporate DQ customer service in MN, says the owner can do what he wants and they cannot "intervene". Just, stay away from this location. I will never go to this location again. I ordered a simple blizzard and after sitting for 20 minutes and watching all 10 people who ordered after me get their orders went up to the counter to ask. They somehow "misplaced" my order and the associate never even said so much as I'm sorry and made it seem like I was in the wrong for even asking about it. I've been to more Dairy Queen's than I can count and never had service or an experience as bad as what I experienced here. I do not recommend this location at all! I am disappointed in the quality of Dairy Queen burgers. The hunger buster combo had the skinniest piece of meat I've ever gotten on a burger....and cooked so dry. Just disappointed that DQ has gone downhill. Ice cream is always good. The cleanliness of the place not so much. Food is old. My order came in completely wrong and they just said " we're sorry" they didn't even change it!

My husband and I go to this Dairy Queen often and we have always liked going and we will continue to go to this Dairy Queen, but tonight we both ordered a Hunger Buster Jr with cheese. When we got our burgers and after we took a bite we noticed that there was no cheese so I took them back. When the Assistant Manger brought the burgers back to us on a separate tray were 2 slices of cold cheese. I looked at what they brought us and I asked why did they not remake the burgers and I was told that since we had taken a bite they were unable to remake them. We went ahead and eat the burgers, but as I sat there I told my husband that I was going to speak to the manager. So I walked to the counter and the Assistant was there not the Manager and I asked her who told her that the burgers could not be remade and she said the cook told her. I went ahead and said that other places usually give you a new burger and that the cook was wrong. I thought that the customer was correct and if they wanted our business they would remake it. We will return because we live in a small town and there are not a lot of places to eat here. Stopped by to get a quick bite and was blown away at our experience. Usually you have to wait a while for food at DQs, but this place was cranking out hot fresh food in little time. The quality was equally amazing. Perfectly cooked fries, tasty food, fresh ingredients! Best DQ experience in my life. And I told them about it. Saw a man order a burger, go get his drink and other essentials and sit down. Within a couple of minutes they were delivering his delicious looking meal to his table.
