5 stars for this Dairy Queen! Very friendly employees and service at this location every time I've been here. I tried the volcano sauce burger - really tasty and not insanely spicy. Their vanilla milkshakes are also very good here. It's cool to see DQ's around I feel like there's not as many left - they're definitely a higher quality fast food place. Staff are always so friendly here. Today was free cone day, and I'm so impressed how the workers managed the chaos in their professionalism and efficiency. We love the cherry-dipped chocolate cones. Stopped by DQ tonight and picked up an orange cream shake and a Blizzard--both were made just right. The shake had that creamy, citrusy flavor that instantly reminded me of the old Orange Julius drinks--such a refreshing throwback. And the Blizzard? Perfectly mixed, not melted, and full of flavor. The team was efficient, polite, and clearly knew what they were doing. The ambiance was clean, comfortable, and exactly what you'd hope for when you're craving a quick treat. You can tell there's real care behind the scenes, and that kind of consistency says a lot. Dairy Queen is Dairy Queen, generally. This one doesn't have the charm of the ones in some of its neighboring suburbs, but beyond that it's fine. Drive through and dining room at this one, since it's a newer location, and there haven't been ridiculously long lines when I've been here though that's probably possible. Inside is clean, when I have been inside pre-pandemic. It's not too far off the freeway, either; within a mile. And this location is open year-round unlike some of those aforementioned other suburban locations. read more

I came to this location yesterday for the first time, and I felt I had to make this my first review in 2 months thanks to COVID-19 because the customer service was amazing and fast, and my drink was amazing. My fiance and I were very bored and wanted ice cream, but we didn't want to go to the same little place around our neighborhood, and we also wanted to stick with a place that had a drive-thru. He found this location and we decided to take a 20-minute drive just for ice cream, and we are so glad we did. Looking at the almost perfect 5-star rating on Google was enough to make us say to go and try it. Once in the drive-thru, there were like 7 cars in front of us, and yet we still ordered in like 3 minutes. Basically, we were in line for 5 minutes in total, and it was awesome. The workers that we could see were all high school kids and they were very respectful and quick. My fiance even called the location before leaving the house because we wanted to make sure this location was open for a while and to make sure they had a drive-thru. He was nice and helpful, as well, and sounded pleasant on the phone, which is not always the case when calling to ask a business a question. Overall, we will totally be back. I ordered a Misty Freeze for the first time and it was so interesting and delicious. I loved how odd the texture was. I got the blue raspberry one, and it was creamy from the soft serve but had small chunks of ice from the slushy. Such an interesting drink that I will order again. Went to get dinner here Wednesday and there was hair in my meal. Unfortunately this wouldn't be the first time I've found hair in my food. Update: I contacted the store and informed the shift leader that my meal had a piece of hair on it. The shift leader who would not give me his name, told me he "did not care". He also said people have been calling complaining all day. If he was the same employee at the drive thru I am SURE it was his hair in my food. I contacted DQ corporate. After contacting corporate the store manager called me on the phone. He said he didn't think the employee said that to me. He said they were having a stressful time as if that is an excuse to have hair in my dinner. This whole store is disgusting. They DO NOT WEAR GLOVES while making your order in the drive thru. You can not see it from the dining room. I'm NEVER eating here again. I CAN NOT believe they aren't wearing hair nets I was a long time costumer I've been going to DQ for 8 years. Went here during the lunch rush, kitchen staff plus the lady taking my order were extremely polite and professional, and even told me I could go sit down and they'd carry my food out to me. The tables, chairs and floors all looked fairly clean for a fast food restaurant. Portions were pretty good for what I paid. I recommend the honey barbecue chicken fingers. Quality of food and service has gotten bad, real fast. Because the managers at this location. They treat the staff like it's a sweat shop and it's disgusting. About a month ago i went thru the drive thru and as the young girl was giving me my food i can see the manager breathing down her back yelling "hurry up hurry up!" And the poor girl was going as fast as she can. Another time, A DIFFERENT MANAGER was yelling at ANOTHER girl to hurry up and i told her "she was doing fine" i felt so bad for those girls. I don't know who is teaching these "managers" but instead of sitting on their high horse, they should help if they're so swamped. Instead of standing around and barking orders in a condescending tone and rushing the poor employees. Today i was served undercooked fries that i paid extra for and other things were wrong with my order. I bet the managers are the reason the quality of my orders have been poor lately. Honestly my order is not the reason for this review, it's because of the "managers". The workers at the window are always nice and very helpful. If you don't treat your employees better, I will stop eating at your location and tell anybody to stop supporting you. I will also call corporate on you, learn to treat your staff. read more

New location and newly built restaurant is a nice update than the place down the street now occupied by T-Bob's BBQ. This DQ offers a drive thru and tons of parking. Perfect dining spot for those after school games so the parents can sit around and dissect their children's game performances. The DQ Seems to be powered by local high school & college aged kids. The "Culver's" kind of feel which I'm sure wows the locals as it did me. Service with a cheery smile. Sandwiches look fresh and created to order just as it looks on the menu. Sandwich size however seemed small in relation to price, in regards to their fish sandwich. While the new "car" smell is still there, stop by and enjoy it. Just today a couple ladies ahead of me complimented the kitchen staff on how their sundaes looked so perfect, as if out of a photo. Inside it's brightly colored and completed with multiple booths for twos and fours. This DQ has a merchandise freezer with DQ branded frozen treats for sale. Buy it individually or by the pack. I do have to add, why pay almost seven dollars for a DQ pack of six fudge bars when you can head down to Jewel and get more for less? Jewel is a few blocks away. Convenience right? About once every 2 years I enjoy indulging in some DQ. Our drive-thru experience was very speedy; given the fact that we order both hot and cold items. What really gave my rating 5/5 stars was the fact that the drive-thru attendant offered my dog a 'pup' cone. I didn't have to ask for one (I didn't even know pup cones were a 'thing' DQ offers), so the gesture was really nice of her. It's always the little things that make a big impact. So I remember coming to this DQ ages ago when I worked in the area and since someone gave me a DQ gift card thought i'd give it a re-visit. They have completely updated this place and it's now a DQ "Grill & Chill" putting out not only Ice Cream but a full grill menu too. Lot's of burgers, bbq, hot dogs, chicken sams, Wis cheese curds.w33t, ya know all that good and healthy lark. Had the Chicken Strip Basket which came w. fries and grilled Texas toast. The strips were honestly pretty good and the fries were excellent, piping hot and nice and crispy. The chicken strips also came w. a white, pepper gravy to dip in which I liked. Washed it all down w. a hot fudge sundae....mmmm, yea I think we're ready for Summer, folks. now if only we can get Mama Nature on board. read more

I ordered a cake from here this weekend. What I liked is their customer service, everyone I worked with was polite, patient, and could answer my questions clearly. What I didn't like is their prices are actually $1 more (for cakes at least) at this location than the other location I went to the day prior. I asked them and they didn't have a good answer. I was pleased with my cake for the most part BUT I did get a decal on the cake and you could see where it started and finished on the cake it really looked like a piece of paper placed on top. I also asked for sprinkles around the edges of the cake over the frosting border and that didn't happen. Guests enjoyed the cake, though and taste was spot on. read more

This newly renovated Dairy Queen makes it a little more welcoming than other Dairy Queens. In terms of what I order from Dairy Queen I always stick to my favorite and what I like to think is a DQ Secret..the Banana Split Blizzard! It is absolutely the best dessert there for all Ice Cream Lovers. It has fresh cut up bananas, strawberries, and pineapples mixed in with their vanilla soft serve and chocolate sauce. Yum! If you haven't tried it..do it now! The only reason for the 3 stars here are for the service/people working there. These 18-something year olds were just standing around in a little circle chatting. I stopped here after work, so excited to get a burger because I haven't been able to find a full DQ restaurant in the area since I had it in Canada a year ago. Something about their burgers are oh so good. So yes, I was stoked! I pulled in around 7:15 pm, only to walk in and see the whole cheerleading squad who I take it where staying at the hotel across the road. So the place was horribly loud, which didn't help my headache after working a long day. Aggravation started to set in when I had to stand in a line half way to the door of teeny boppers ... but I was going to get my DQ burger if it was the last thing I did on this earth. Finally after 15 minutes in line, I got to order. You could tell they were understaffed for the amount of people in the restaurant ... the poor employee's were running around like chickens with their heads cut off. I did not get my meal till 30 minutes after I ordered it, and let me tell you my aggravation level was at a 110%. The only employee that would even acknowledge me was a red headed girl, and if it wasn't for her I probably would have caused a fuss, asked for my money back and left. After I got my meal (minus my drink, because both they and I forgot about it) I drove the short distance home. When I opened everything up, it was cold, soggy, and so unappealing. I ate half my hamburger and picked the disgusting, soggy, brown lettuce out of my chicken wrap that was more ranch sauce than anything else. The rest went in the garbage. This was my roommate's first experience at a DQ and we ordered a s'mores blizzard and a cookie dough blizzard. As the worker was putting them into the bag, I could see they seemed to be a little melted. Within our 2 minute drive home with the AC blasting, our blizzards were both completely melted. We come here several times a month with our grandson. First of all, I'm very impressed how nice and clean it is. For $5 you can get a hamburger with fries or chicken strips with fries and each comes with a drink and your choice of sundae.
