We've been frequenting this Dairy Queen for the past seven years since it is at the end of our street. Honestly, I don't know why we don't visit more often. For me it doesn't get much better than a banana split blizzard, so that is what I always order. My son likes the Oreo confection cups and my wife likes peanut buster parfaits. Not only was the customer service great but the ambience of the Halloween decor was out of this world. I went to this location yesterday and only wanted cheese curds and a water , because I don't drink pop. The boy at the speaker asked me what size I would like I said a large . I didn't expect to get it for free, but wanting to charge me 3:17 for a cup of tap water was a bit much. If you want to charge me for the cup that's fine, but I'm not paying full price. read more

Wow, the first fast food restaurant I've been since 2020 covid that has nice employees that are actually working and doing everything right and not lazy like! Ya know it seems to be the trend these days everywhere you go. But it was actually clean in the dining area! There were multiple tables with people eating lunch. The restrooms were clean! I order a cheesy stack burger no bun, w/extra onion, no ketchup but yes to lettuce tomato Mayo & mustard. They actually got it right! And it was tasty good! I don't normally think of going to a DQ for lunch/burger, but was very surprised and happy with my lunch! Any other fast food place gets something wrong, every single time. Absolutely awful. We came at 9, knowing that they closed at 9:30, and watched as they ran to the door to turn off the Open sign and lock the doors. We then went through the drive through because they are supposed to be open until 9:30 only to be met with a VERY annoyed crew who was insanely rude and curt. The owner should know what a great crew he has. We stopped in Sunday May 28th, 2023 for lunch. the young men were all clean, they hustled to get the food quickly, they were pleasant and the facility was spotless, and last but not least the food was great. One young man made fresh coffee instead of serving old stale coffee and another young man was checking the dining room to make sure it was clean. YOU should be VERY PROUD of the crew. read more

Dairy Queen is always great. I personally love their mini ice cream cupcakes. I'm from Wayne county and Orrville s does them freshly made and pre frozen. I requested freshly made and upon checkout the young boy said ok but was hesitant. Later after purchase and receiving my food order he said they had to be premade. I'm assuming the young girls in the back didn't want to make them, although they didn't have any orders on the screen at that time I looked . Additionally what made my experience absolutely wonderful was CHUCK!!!! He is the cutest and best DQ worker EVER!!!! he asked who requested the fresh cupcake. I told him I did and he made me two. The customer is always right and is to be made happy in the food industry. Chuck you get a gold star for the day. And so does the cashier. He was nervous but needs to be more confident in himself! It'll come in due time I'm sure. But the girls in the back were making uncomfortable eye contact with me when I noticed them looking at me after conversing with chuck. We've been in with the kids a few times and for DQ had ok service. What really stuck out and warranted the review was the young man behind the counter. I don't remember his name but he had blonde hair. I stopped with my daughter after a trip to the park for lunch followed by ice cream. We ordered a hot dog, fries and small cone, I paid with my card and as we took our number she said dad did you get my cup? Dang, I forgot to order a drink and or assumed I had got a meal with it included, the young man heard her and asked if we wanted to order a drink, I said yes and reached for my wallet. He stopped me and said I've seen you guys a few times and we appreciate your business the drink is on us. BOOM, something so simple takes average trips to DQ and made it a game changer. It is so good and it tastes just like a s'more but you don't need a fire. I ordered a large blizzard with butter finger and heath. I paid extra for the extra topping and the blizzard was mostly vanilla ice cream. I asked them if they split the topping between the two choices or if I got both toppings and they said it was both toppings. I find it hard to believe. Not my first blizzard. After inquiring twice and asking them to mix it up again since it looked pretty unmixed they offered to make me a new one but I declined. I wish they would have gotten it right the first time. Ordered a blizzard, added bananas and the woman acted like she wasn't sure if that was possible even though I order it often. We waited forever, received the blizzard, and it was almost completely melted when we received it, as well as not mixed throughly. Can't speak on service as we ordered through the drive through but the ice cream was definitely less than satisfactory. read more

At least they are consistent. Consistently horrible. Drive Thru takes exceedingly long, even when you are the only car and there is nobody in the restaurant. The Blizzards are melted before they hand it to you, and they never put lids on it. When you ask for a lid (because you are in your car..) they squish the overfilled ice cream into it, leaving a sloppy mess for you to clean up when you get your ice cream home. This has happened at least 5-6 times..which is as many times as we have been going. I think we have been satisfied with this location once. It is worth the extra time to drive to the one on Route 42. read more
