I ignore the food reviews from DQ because to me, you should've known. The dipped cones are typically consistent, but my recent visit resulted in a slightly crooked cone that forced me to eat it faster than I would have liked. Small detail, but annoying and inconsistent with visits to other locations. My main gripe was the watery blizzard I received upon a second visit. I'm not sure if the blizzard was just blended more than usual or the machine wasn't ready, but upon receiving our blizzards over the counter, it looked like they sat in the blazing sun for 10 minutes before serving it to us. We walked away thinking a McFlurry would've been a far better option that day. read more

Went in anyhow and was then told they were at their limit and won't even take our order for 10 minutes. What? Who runs a fast food place like this? Don't bother going here. This might be one of the worst DQs I have ever been to which is sad because I only go to Dairy Queen for a treat, usually while I'm on vacation. The staff was nice but the food was seriously lacking. The 6-piece chicken strip basket is what I ordered. I was informed that there was no toast but that I could have more fries instead. I was fine with that. There wasn't extra fries and the few fries I did have were soggy, barely warm, and tasted like the fry oil was way overdue for a change. The chicken strips also had that old oil taste, not to mention that they were much smaller than normal. I also didn't receive the gravy. Also, the strawberry shake tasted fine but wasn't blended well and ended up clogging the straw. In a world full of fast food options, I would encourage you to find another restaurant to eat at. read more

I'm done with this place. Last time we ended up waiting in drive through for 45 mins! A couple months later we try again. We ordered 3 meals, they handed our "order" but they were missing 3 items. We handed back the bag and they said sorry it'll be 60 seconds. Couple minutes later they give us a larger bag. I peeked into the bag again, but this time they're missing 2 items! Fries were too expensive , got 11 fries for $2.49 and they were already cold. I ordered sundae and it was half melted when I got it. Clerk on register was extremely rude. Adriene was the name on the receipt and she wouldn't let my grand daughter have the key to restroom until I paid and she gave me my change. She purposely took her sweet time and would not acknowledge my 5 year old grand daughter was begging to go potty. I ask to speak to the manager but they wouldn't come out. Ordered a large chocolate malt today from Johnathan. Received a chocolate milkshake, (no malt) with so little chocolate it tasted like vanilla. Actually it didn't even taste like vanilla, definitely an "off" taste. Johnathan and other staff completed maybe 4 orders while I stood at the counter being ignored while staff stocked inventory etc. It's finally my turn to order and I have at least 4 people standing behind me. Johnathan then proceeded to take everyone's order while they try to decide what to order. The total time from in to out was 26 minutes to get a milkshake! A milkshake that costs over $5.00 that didn't taste very good, I threw it out as I was in my car before I tasted it. What a waste!! read more

Some blizzards are decent, some are pretty good. The food could be a little better for the price they're charging. I don't mind the price on the blizzards however. I haven't had any issues ordering so far with the employees. The oreo hot chocolate blizzard is pretty good, I recommend trying it. Anyways the restraunt is pretty much clean from what I can tell, and have no complaints at the moment. For noise level, if your looking for a quiet place for blizzard/ice cream I would not recommend here for a quiet place to hangout and have some blizzards. read more

Extremely long line and extremely long wait at the drive-up window for service. I went to this Dairy Queen because it was close to my motel and I was tired from driving. Going here instead of going to In-N-Out Burger or The Habit Burger in Redding was a serious mistake. The hamburger that I ordered wasn't very tasty and had bits of inedible bone and gristle in the beef patty. Their mini milk shake was less than half the size of the shakes at In-N-Out and twice as expensive as In-N-Out's price. The food at this DQ is a poor value for the money. read more

Horrible experience, I went for my free small blizzard on their app, which I have had on a previous occasion and this older lady that took my order was 1st Telling my that my Cupons expired a certain time and second that it was with a purchase is something that clearly my coupon didn't have that in the description, I told her what my phone said and asked for a manager and she closed the window to talk smack about me and later she ended up giving me a free melted small blizzard with this attitude which she didn't even turned fully so it didn't drip, it was awful, this need to be noted. I'm not usually the kind of customer that gets all bitchy but honestly this was so bad and rude on her end that I needed to post a review, I was even afraid of eating my blizzard scared of what she might have done to it. Unfortunately, I am not updating my review with good news. I went again to Dairy Queen tonight. (everyone deserve a second chance right??). Not the case here. The young girl taking my order had the personality of a mop and barely acknowledged our existence. We ordered a small sundae and a medium ice cream cone. It took TWENTY minutes to get our food. Three orders that were taken AFTER us were made first. There are like 20 people working at one time, but no one is communicating or attempting to work together. Another issue, this place is DIRTY! the floors are not clean, the counters/tables are not wiped off. Also, if you look behind the counter, there are toppings, ice cream and whatever else all over. I understand when there is a rush and you have to clean after, however there were literally 5 people in the restaurant. Not to mention, the person taking money was not washing her hands after she would take someone's order. People were itching their ears and noses before and after making their food. I wish someone would slap a biohazard sticker on this place and reevaluate their status with the health department. Please, if you have a family, think twice before eating here. read more

I wish I could give a {-star} to this location. Came in to get a Blizzard but wanted to use the restroom facilities first. I can't believe some high school aged girl questioned me if I had already purchased something first. REALLY, I am 64yrs old, dressed in business attire, I must look like some graffiti tagging punk or a homeless person looking to take a shower in the sink. So after the shock wore off I said I would order after I used the restroom. She must have been pretty low on the totem pole because she had to ask another high school aged girl if I could use the facilities. When I finished I returned the key and ordered the blizzard. A large one should hit the spot and calm me down. Ahh, just what I needed. But, after getting less than half way through I hit plain vanilla ice cream. Rats, they only mixed the top half. So I returned to the counter and was told by the totem pole climbing boss high school girl that she would not replace it, only give me a small one because I "ate" some already. What's happened to customer service? I guess I paid for a 20oz Blizzard and thats all I was getting.
