My mammy was craving a blizzard so we had To come to Dairy Queen. They actually had a pretty long drive thru line this evening. We ordered 4 Blizzards. One of the new Choco Frosted Blizzards, a Snickers Blizzard, and 2 Banana Cheesecake Blizzards (my favorite). I love DQ Blizzards when they're made correctly. The ice cream is thick and creamy, not too sweet and blended with toppings of your choice. The combination of bananas and creamy cheesecake bites it's a beautiful combination. This is not a super sweet blizzard, but if you love cheesecake and bananas like I do, you have to try it. The ambiance at DQ is casual. This location offers indoor and outdoor seating. They also offer blizzard and ice cream cakes. Warning, this location is known for jumping the gun and making the blizzard before you get to the window to keep the line moving so make sure it was just made before driving off because they melt quickly. Located on the main drag of old town Rialto, this seems like a good fit to local stores (e.g. tattoo shop, Don's Bicycle Shop, etc). Walk-in or drive-thru, your choice. The interior is clean and seems capable of holding more than 20 customers. I felt a sugar fix coming on so I went in for a Blizzard with the seasonal flavor with caramel and toffee or something. Four sizes to select from, i picked medium, but I should have gone small. It's a heavy payload, and I was definitely sugared out with a little mouth burn. Just save your time and money and go somewhere else. Like seriously, fight the urge. I used to be loyal to this place ordering meals and ice creams on the weekly basis for my fam or my parents and in the last 6 months it had become such a hassle it's not worth it. We got into an argument multiple times with the manager who likes to blame the customer for messing up the order when it's a mobile order and we have proof. They are constantly out of the most basic items & then fight you about a refund trying to get you to just substitute for a different food item of lesser value (and we don't want because they're out of everything else decent on the menu). On top of all that...the upside down ice cream rule! Ha! Forget about it. They let the ice cream sit on the counter in the back and not even tell you it's ready. Then it comes to you half melted and you say something about it and they...of course fight you. I feel bad for the good employees there because they are constantly running on a skeleton crew and just can't handle the amount of people coming in and out of there on the weekends. When the food is cooked properly (and in stock) and the ice cream is not melted by the time you get it...the food itself is good. Their chicken strips are actually top 3 on my list. This Dairy Queen is located on the Westside of Riverside Avenue just North of the railroad tracks. The drive-thru can get pretty crowded at times, so we got off to order. They sell hamburger and fries, but most people come here for the ice cream. I myself came here for the birthday cake, strawberry cheesecake that is. They have them locked up in the freezer, so you have to ask for assistance first before getting the cake. The ice cream cake I purchased was enough to feed a hefty slice (per person) to a party of 15 with a little cake left over. It well was worth it for a price of around $37. I walked into the front and waited for honest to God, 10 minutes for somebody to serve me. I made eye contact with three separate workers, all of them, rushing to do something aside from assist me. As if I couldn't see them? And there were five of them, working the drive-through, and not a single one the front, until I said, "excuse me are you guys only doing drive through at the moment?" At that point one of them gets embarrassed and goes "oh, um, no, I'll help you in a bit," and then proceeds to very politely take my order and they give me my food and my ice cream very quickly, but I didn't like that I had to stand there for 10 minutes and ASK for service before getting any, and the making eye contact with me and then rushing to do something else. Always come here with my boyfriend at night for slushees and it's always jam packed, but I get it, it's hot it's summer & the slushees are so good. Anyways went tonight & it was busy, per usual, i don't really care about the waiting especially because we always do the drive up option over the drive thru. Ordered 2 cherry soda cream slushes and they brought us out 2 cherry cream slushes no soda. ITS OK, I get it, this is the only time they've messed up our order and it was jam packed like i said. The lady working was very nice and brought the correct order back out to us shortly after. BUT my only reason that I am yelping is because as i was drinking my cherry Dr. Pepper cream slush I started tasting bits of peanuts, maybe about 3 or 4 times throughout my drink i tasted them. Customer service when we ordered was not too bad. She wasn't really listening, like she was tuning my husband out. But the food was great. I enjoyed it. I had the chicken strips and they were flavorful and cooked very well and of course crispy. But it took about 30 minutes to get our food. It seems that someone else took our food (and for the looks of it they took it for free). Unfortunately employees aren't really paying attention on who takes the orders. There was a couple outside that had been there since we arrived and they didn't even order anything and suddenly they had the exact same order sitting on their table. Dairy Queen was always a childhood favorite of mine. Specifically their Chocolate Extreme Blizzard. While Dairy Queen has started to update their other menu items their Ice Cream still has that nostalgia to it. This location was clean, I didn't have to wait too long to get my order and was even shown my blizzard was up to DQ's standard by it being turned upside down. The addition of the "Mini" is definitely nice as it's the perfect snack size. No complaints from me and if I'm ever in the area this will definitely be my go to DQ. read more

Terrible service !!! Just got our food from here and where to start... The cashier was rude, made it clear she didn't want to be there. When we were ordering she never let us know about a better deal for the exact some food we were ordering and when we asked why she didn't tell us about the special she replied " my job is to take your Order." Yesterday evening my mom (has very broken English) tried ordering from drive thru but was getting very rude feed back from the very young employee. She placed her order and was waiting at the window for over 20mins while employees stared at her and laughed at her expense. When she comforted them and gave them an attitude back they called police on her. She paid for the order but was so upset she didn't even wait for her order anymore and just left. They showed so much disrespect because she doesn't speak great English and wasn't letting them bully her. Now that I called to speak to the manager, manager said she was there and it was my mom that was rude. I can tell you my mother is not rude just for no reason. We have never in our life's ever experienced this. When she spoke to the police officer that pulled her over ( means they called police while she was waiting) he agreed that the employees were in the wrong. The chocolate dipped soft serve ice cream cones are the best!! Best stress reliever!! And lucky it's around the corner from my job. They also have a pre-made ice cream bar that's called "Dilly Bar". It taste and has the similar texture as their soft serve ice creams with a hard chocolate shell. They sell them in a box of six so you can enjoy at home. Before 10pm like 9:40pm ish the doors are locked and they have cones up blocking the driveway. There website and signs say they are open from 10-10. But that's never the case. So today I visited DQ in Rialto Ca I order two sundaes and two large Oreo Blizzards. I asked them how do I get my points but buy the I had paid already and employee said it was to late and that my transaction had already been processed, so this meant no points for me for this visit. So next my number order was called went to pick up my order and the Supervisor/ Shift manager handed me my order and she never flipped my blizzard when I asked her what happened if it wasn't flipped she says I write on your receipt circle items and initial so that next time you get a free item, I then perceived to hand her my receipt and she told me I didn't allow her to flip them because took them when she handed them to me in my hands. Why would I not take what I paid for if you handed it to me? She wouldn't honor the DQ flip promise. Even after I told her to please sign as she said that was her flipping policy. read more

Have been to this location twice and the drive thru line has been super slow on both occasions even though it was around 8pm. On both occasions it's been around a 15 minute wait.
