I understand they're busy.. especially on a Saturday night. But we ordered a small chocolate cone dipped in the mint. They went to hand us a vanilla dipped in mint. I don't like their vanilla so we kindly ask for chocolate. This guy comes back with a vanilla cone dipped in chocolate. Face palm. We correct again and get the same one dipped in mint after being dipped in chocolate. We said it was okay bc we didn't realize it was vanilla ice cream. I ventured out for Turtle Pecan Blizzard, as I have done before--too many times to accurately count. I eventually pull up to the drive through window. As soon as this teenager picks my Blizzard up off the counter, I could see through the window that it was 'runny'. And she could see it too, because she didn't turn it upside down. I say "Hang on, that doesn't look right" She stands there looking at it. I ask her if she can turn it upside down, and she says "The ingredients,the pecans, make it more runny" Seriously? She then carries it to the sink and pours some off the top, (so now there's.....less of it?) then comes back and holds it out the window to me. I said "it's now dripping all down the sides of the cup" She's just standing there looking at the cup like an idiot. I say, "Can I at least get a couple napkins because that's going to make a big mess in my car" She wraps it in napkins and hands it to me. Ugh! I give up and take it home to firm up in my freezer for an hour. I'm a lifelong resident of Wooster and been going to this location since I was a kid. I'm not sure why I tried again, but I was not disappointed. The service was terrible. I have a feeling that the workers have never been trained. Needs improvement. Always a long wait. Never utilizes the designated parking spots for people waiting on big orders. The first window to pay is never open. Two times in a row I've asked for things to be added to my ice cream (ex- asked for a hot fudge peanut butter shake and got only hot fudge) and the employees straight up ignore you when you want to add stuff. Bunch of kids running the place. The kid at the drive thru window asked me 4 times what I wanted (A cheese burger with just ketchup, a fry and a ranch ) After having to repeat what I wanted multiples I paid and received A cheese burger with pickles and mustard and didn't get my side of ranch. If you have been to a DQ anywhere else before, you're aware that this is not the place for fine dining and top tier ice cream. However, it is extremely nostalgic and they still have some good options! I tried the DQ in Wooster, and was quite disappointed. I ordered the Royal Fluffernutter Blizzard, and what I received was not even close to the royal blizzards. It still tasted fine, but I have gotten their royal blizzards in the past, and they were not like this. I should have just ordered a regular blizzard with peanut butter at that point. For the price of the nostalgia, the product didn't match up at this location. If I ever crave it again, I'll be driving to another location. read more

Worst customer service ever. I waited for 15min at the window to be told it may be faster to go thru the drive thru despite there being about 8 different people working some just standing and doing nothing. I walked out and left and will be the last time I ever go there again. Go to Hartzlers down the road not only is the customer service a 1000 times better so is their ice cream. read more

If I could leave a 0, I would. This location doesn't only close earlier than the posted hours, they have awful service. We went through last night at 9 and neither my friend or I got any of the toppings in our blizzards. Straight vanilla ice cream... with no toppings, and they closed the window and wouldn't open it when we waiting to ask them to make it right!! read more

Sometimes nostalgia wins the battle against wanting artisanal goods. Sometimes knowing exactly what you're going to get and playing it safe is better than taking a risk on some fancy new favor combo or experimental liquid nitrogen concoction. Sometimes you just want ice cream on that familiar red spoon. Close you eyes. Place your order. It doesn't matter where you are: all DQ's pretty much feel, smell, and deliver the same food. A Blizzard is a Blizzard is a Blizzard. And the Wooster DQ reminds me of the DQ I went to as a child on the East Side of Cleveland. It's the familiar blanket on a cold day...but like the total opposite. I've only been to one total exceptional DQ, (Meadville, PA), but all the others are just alright. Only pet peeve here is they don't serve Blizzards upside down. The thickness of their blended treats is a little suspect...I don't think they'd pass the test ... And they seem to melt pretty quickly. read more

This place was absolutely rude , a young girl with red hair and glasses served me today about 6:35 5-10- 19 I asked for a banana split , she stood there talking the whole time while making it on her time as it was melting , it looked crappy when she gave it to me , and I said is that all the ice cream you get she said ya ! And laughed , I asked for more and she just completely ignored me , I literally had no ice cream but she sure but a crap ton of whip cream on to hide the fact that there was no ice cream. We come here very often and put a lot of money in to this place daily never have we ever been treated this way. No to mention my son got a cone that took longer to come out than my banana split. I just visited this location and was refused service when I tried to order inside, even though a family of 7 people had just ordered inside as well and they were served. There's a sign at the door that says only Drive-through only, but if you're going to bend the rules then you have to do it for everybody or nobody. The manager was completely rude and aggressive when He was called out about this. Horrible horrible customer service. read more

This dq was by far the worst. We like DQ but unfortunately this location lost our business. I ordered a small hot fudge sundae...and the amount of hot fudge was such a small amount it was enough for a cpl bites with the ice cream...I asked for them to add a little bit more and they refused and said I had to pay an additional amount. She was very rude. I felt we may have inconvenienced them by stopping. Although they were not busy at all. read more
