The best DQ around the area! Always have a great sweet treat experience here. Place has been recently updated inside. Nice seating outside and some tables inside. Some congestion when there are a lot of people in line - the line can get wonky and people can wrap inside to keep warm or the line is heading out the door. I appreciate that this location takes the DQ app/rewards. Lots of times I have been able to cash in on my rewards for free treats. Get a blizzard and they make sure to do the standard blizzard flip upside down. Staff is friendly and efficient. Menu wise, they also offers food. Sweet treats are delicious and reliable in consistency of the product. Always a great variety of ice cream cakes in the freezers. Also love that they are open year round. read more

When we told her she didn't put enough toppings that we paid for she replied with " there has to be enough for everyone else" which is totally fine but they should not be full price if I'm getting half of what I would be getting at another location because they are running low. then she told us to go to a different location. read more

Service was very poor today, time was 3:54pm April 1st and Manager was kaylin and she didn't want to fix or address the problem instead she just wants us to leave and refund our money back. She also said she didn't care if I complain this to corporation. this location at 3053 E Walton Blvd Auburn Hills, MI 48326 United States was our go to ice cream and today was not the day I wanted to even order my ice cream. This is why we refunded all our orders instead of making my order being so pissed because we asked for the right orders... First of all, it's okay that they made a mistake and we were okay with that but the employees who made our ice cream took it in a wrong way because she just grabbed our ice cream in our hand back quickly and throw it in the garbage and rolled her eyes. like it's our fault that she made a mistake, sorry but for me that was unprofessional rude. Imagine thinking to go to Dairy Queen because you're having a bad day thinking that Ice cream would make you feel better but I was wrong. It was the employees who are not happy what they are doing and making the customer get effected because the service becomes very poor. Because the employees are quick to get mad to make your order right because you're asking for the right order.. never again going to this place. I'm surprised this place doesn't have more reviews - it's been around for quite a while. I've been coming here for at least the past 10+ years. This location is nice because it stays open even during the winter. The next closest location in downtown Rochester usually closes in the winter. Most of my family has birthdays during the cold weather months and it's been a tradition to celebrate with ice cream cakes, so we come to this store to pick them up. The workers here will help you write a custom message on top of the cake upon request - they have both gel-based and cream frosting and a variety of colors to choose from depending on what look you want to go for. I took my sons to this DQ several days in a row this summer after football camp and we had a great experience: The girls working the counter were very friendly and created a fun atmosphere, even when there was a long line. You can tell they enjoy their jobs. in fact, One of my sons ordered something that wasn't exactly what he was expecting, so the girl changed it for him with a smile. Happy customers! The place was very clean (unlike our experience in the past) and, The Food/treats delicious, as expected. We will be back often; I am even working on a loyalty punch card! This is one of our favorites. Traditional, pretty cheap ice cream. It's DQ. Not too much to say. This location does tend to close on most holidays (and some not holidays frankly, just randomly) when most other places are open, even if the others are open for reduced hours. That's the only downside. We try to go there and they're closed alot. read more

This is the BEST DQ - Fo Sho!! SUPER accommodating with special cake requests (which are always beautifully decorated and very deeelicious!!), and the staff is ALWAYS patient, friendly, and willing to make suggestions or happy to accommodate my weird requests and concoctions I ask them to make. The owners totally know what they are doing when they hire their GRACIOUS employees because they are all very polite and are always smiling. OK not going to lie this place is NoCap the best Dairy Queen I have ever been to. Y'all are in freaking magic fr fr bruh bruh. I walked in here with a blanket and slippers and you guys are all like wow cool blanket and I was all like wow thas absolutely insane luv lit rally madness ngl also a lot of interesting people walked in the door and it was really fun to watch all of them and judge them silently. I really enjoyed looking at the bees and flowers on the freezers for like 20 minutes while talking to my mom about sleeping over at Emma's house. Also we made fun of the Plaques for the people that worked here for 20+ years like wow thas so depressing but not at the same time. I am so happy that this DQ is under new ownership/management! My fiance and I go ever Sunday. Everytime we go, the staff is so pleasant. We went one Sunday and the blizzard of the month was no longer available. I looked to the menu to seek another option, however the team offered a blizzard that consisted of all the ingredients of the blizzard of the month to ensure that I got what I came for. I was VERY DISSATISFIED with the service my mother received at this location. She ordered a birthday ice cream cake on Friday, May 27, 2016 for pick up on Saturday, May 28, 2016 @ 1:00 pm. When she ordered the cake, she was told that she had to pay for the cake in advance to GUARANTEE that the cake would be ready at the requested time. She paid for the cake in advance and when she went to pick up the cake @ 1:00pm, the cake was not ready. IT WAS NOT EVEN MADE!!! She was then told to come back at 2:30pm to pick up the cake and it would be ready. She returned after 2:30pm and the cake was STILL NOT READY!!! She did not get the cake she ordered to be ready @ 1:00pm until almost 3:30pm!! 2 1/2 HOURS AFTER SHE REQUESTED THE CAKE TO BE DONE!!! Due to the stores' incompetence, the cake was over an hour late to the birthday party. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS LOCATION AGAIN.
