Very Cherry Chip Blizzard and REESE'S Peanut Butter Cup BLIZZARD Treat

Service was great. We were able to order right away and receive it fairly quickly. There were two young lady's working and they were kind and asked how we were doing. Usually when we come, we don't even get a hello so that was a nice surprise. Blizzards were great, made right, don't have any complaints. We ordered a small. The location was clean. There are tables and chairs if people want to stay after ordering. There weren't any napkins and when I informed the ladies working, they immediately put more supplies out for customers. There's plenty of parking. Overall great experience this time.

In disbelief that this business really gave us a cake with the most atrocious writing, like did a 5 year old do this?! Unbelievable that they sold this to us. We also asked for all vanilla and got chocolate in the middle. We've been long-time customers so we've been able to overlook other minor mistakes, but this is the last straw. Unacceptable.

7/24/22 A new store to me. This should be good.

7/23/22 Since the desserts options at Meiwah weren't what we wanted, my wife and I headed to Rockville Maryland and tried out Dairy Queen in this location. This Dairy Queen looked very new to me. I haven't been to this area for a while. If this place has been around for years, it looked in better conditions than the Vienna Virginia store. Although the staff members did not seem to be very happy to be working, they looked happy to be hanging out with each other. Ever seen the movie Clerks? "Just because they serve you doesn't mean they like you." This is the feeling I got, but the orders came out fast, and the place seemed much cleaner than Vienna Virginia. The bathroom is labeled closed to the public. I guess B-Explosions (think backside) aren't welcome in this shop. You may take your ball and go home, or sit outside the store on the benches provided. My Oreo Cookie and Heath Bar Crunch blizzard was delicious, but I can't do this very often. Eatting icecream in the car is never a good idea. This was a good way to end the day on Saturday.

Small stand alone location. I really only order one thing at Dairy Queen if I go and that's the blizzard. I got the Oreo blizzard. Lots of crushed cookie crumbs, but also small bits of cookie, which I like. One star off because the employees could be a little friendlier and it took about 5 minutes to get a soft cone.

Stopped in 30 minutes before closing for a cone and blizzard. Service was fast, the guy working the counter was friendly and we had no issues. I could see that it had been a busy day at this location as the front of the restaurant where customers could sit at one of the tables inside was a bit dirty. Something had been dropped on the floor and hadn't been cleaned up. From what I could see of the toppings from where I stood, it looked like that whole area needed a wipe down and tidying, but I wasn't there all night so maybe we just missed a huge rush and they didn't have a chance. It seemed like only two people were working and one of them seemed to be in closeup mode. As for other reviewers saying it's in a rough area, we ate our ice cream right outside the store, since all the benches were taken. It was dark out and we didn't feel unsafe. I could see how parking could be an issue here at first glance, but there is a lot behind the store, so if you're really craving DQ, don't let that fear of not getting a spot hold you back! Bottom Line: It's DQ! Next time I have a soft serve vanilla with rainbow sprinkles craving, there's a good chance I'll end up here!

DQ is right behind my house. I grew up eating this ice cream, so I have nothing but glory and recommendations to list. Growing up I always got a small cherry dip or butterscotch dip with vanilla ice cream cone or cup. (If you haven't tried please do) . Depending on how hot it is the cones can get messy fast if it's really hot outside (make sure you have ALOT of napkins before leaving) You get a good amount of ice cream so it's worth the money. Now when it come to Blizzards I ONLY get cookie dough. I LOVE cookie dough in general and every single bite has nice chunks of it I just can't get enough! ( Cookie dough lovers GET IT, won't regret it). Never go late in the evening on summer nights. Lines have been out the door of that place sometimes (if you don't mind waiting go for it). So I went yesterday with bae . My phone died so I was only able to get a picture of his ice cream and the indoor environment. He is a basic guy so he got a small vanilla cone. I got of course my cookie dough blizzard. All the times I've ordered from here they have NEVER gotten my order wrong. I don't usually wait more than 3 minutes for my ice cream. This location DOES NOT serve food. Classic ice cream shop . Has a couple tables inside , and one unisex bathroom that I probably only used one time. There are benches outside, depending on my mood I'll sit and lick(lol) . My neighborhood has changed over the years( saw some people's reviews ) but DQ ice cream has not. I am a loyal, happy customer :p

Boyfriend ate two bites of his blizzard (top) and haven't eaten mine at all. It looks like soup.

Staff rolled their eyes at the elderly woman in front of me when she asked why the two mediums she ordered were different sizes. Then they handed me a two melted blizzard. What happened to the bottom up guarantee?? They handed me my blizzard and it looked like soup..

    Wifey waiting in line.

Me and my wife came by this place on 4/13/19 for ice cream. I try to avoid sweets as much as i can, so on this day, I opted to just be a spectator. My wife ordered a chocolate dipped cone and a orange julius. I was able to taste both items and seemed fine. Unfortunately the wife had stomach pains later on that evening (I did not) and she believes it was from DQ. The store seems clean and my only trepidation with ice cream shops are possibly how dirty the ice cream machines are on the inside. Will visit again only if wife is up for it.

This location doesn't have mobile ordering setup. Additionally, they have limited items due to the pandemic. They have social distancing signs on the floor of the shop as well as plexiglass between the staff and the customer. I was really looking forward to having the frosted animal cookie blizzard again but they were out. So I got a raspberry chocolate blizzard instead which was still tasty.

It has about three times the space and a lot more tables, but they still get the food out just as quickly, the customer service is just as friendly, and the food is the same great quality. I got my favorite, the turkey and cranberry sandwich with onion rings. Their onion rings are amazing. I honestly haven't found onion rings anywhere else that compare. The sandwich is just as good as I remembered. The bread is toasted, so it doesn't get soggy. The turkey is moist without being squishy, and the cranberry sauce isn't overly tart. Everything together just melts in your mouth and is absolutely delicious. I'm so glad they were able to expand without losing what made them special. I'll definitely keep coming back.

It's a pretty small spot with a simple menu -- mainly lamb and chicken gyros and bowls. I vaguely remember trying a bowl before, so this time I went with the gyro and ordered extra lamb and extra sauce. I assumed the sauce was going to be traditional tzatziki, but they actually make their own sauces and I honestly wasn't very impressed by them. To their credit and great service, they definitely did not skimp on the meat because they loaded the gyro up, but honestly I probably could've gone without the extra lamb. The whole thing ended up being super messy and hard to hold together, to the point where I eventually just ate it with a fork. Overall, the taste was just a miss for me and didn't satisfy the authentic gyro craving I was hoping for. I wanted to enjoy it way more than I actually did, but I'll probably pass on coming back.

There are multiple entrée options, along with a few desserts. We ordered the chicken platter, fries, and the baklava cheesecake. The chicken platter came with a small portion of salad, rice, red chicken pieces, and a green sauce (other sauce options include white, hot, and BBQ). Unfortunately, the food lacked flavor overall--aside from the sauce, it was pretty bland. We didn't finish our meal and ended up discarding the leftovers. The fries were hot, which is always a plus, but they were the extruded style, which we're not fans of. The baklava cheesecake was an interesting concept, with layers of phyllo dough, cheesecake, and what tasted like plain vanilla cake, but it wasn't something we felt was worth finishing either. That said, there was a steady stream of customers while we were there, so clearly the food appeals to many people--just not to us. We won't be returning.

I went around 6 pm on a Saturday and it was pretty empty at the time. There are kiosks that you can order at or you can order at the counter. I ordered the 3 wings (whole) and a side of fries. I didn't have to wait long and when I got my bag the food was hot!!!! I probably should have gotten what they are known for (chicken sandwiches) but I wanted wings badly. The fries were good but could've used just a little more time in the grease to make them a bit crispier. The wings were served hot and fresh out the grease. I was expecting great and got just ok. The wings lacked flavor and could have been fried a tad bit longer for a crispier bite. I was almost afraid that they were undercooked, so I ate only one wing out of caution. I will go back, but only for reputable menu items and not the wings. Also...the restaurant was fairly clean (likely bc it was empty) but could have used a once over as it appeared that the dining floors were swept but the dirt was left in a corner; this could appear as if the restaurant wasn't a tidy as it needed to be. Overall, I'll give it 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Although I've seen quite a few Roaming Roosters sprout up in the area, I figured that it was time to try out the food. For my order, I went with the chicken tenders (3-4 pieces) and a cup of fries. The order was about $14 without tip. I thought the portion size of the tenders and fries were pretty good based on what I have received from other chicken spots in the area. An order of fries is about four bucks (I didn't see any combo meals on the menu), but you will receive A LOT of fries. If you are dining with someone, you might want to split an order of fries unless you are super hungry. The tenders, which have three spice levels (mild, medium and hot) will come out PIPING hot, which is a good thing. I even had to wait a few minutes to eat the chicken because the food was so hot. I guess this definitely is a good thing if you are doing take out because the food will not be cold as ice by the time you arrive home...depending on how far you live from the restaurant. Overall, I thought the food was delicious, and the spice level of medium just was what I was looking for. I thought it was kind of funny/interesting that the chicken tenders were served on a plain white piece of bread with three pickles, but I guess that's just how Roaming Rooster does it. Perhaps, the bread is there to soak up some of the oil from the chicken, which I guess is a good thing. The fries were pretty awesome because they reminded me a bit of the fries from Five Guys, which I LOVE. Service was fine. One of the workers seemed to be a bit grumpy, but the woman who took my order had a nicer attitude. I stopped by around 6/7 pm so maybe the worker was just over their workday...a mental state that probably all of us has experienced on multiple occasions. The restaurant has a decent dining area with a small outdoor section (I believe there is an upper dining area too). Personally, I was not a fan of the outdoor dining section because it shares a walkway where customers/delivery people are entering and leaving the restaurant.
