    Thin pancakes

Service is the only reason this place is getting 2 stars. Here is what we ordered: Pumpkin pancakes - about as thin as cardboard - flavor was anything but pumpkin - was asked if we wanted bacon or hash browns, we selected bacon not knowing it was an up charge of more than $7 for 3 slices Corn beef hash and eggs - corned beef had the texture of wet saw dust - eggs were gritty like powder - pancakes were decent There is no way I would eat the beef and eggs - I didn't return it, but it sat in the table. I did ask for toast to see if that would help, but the toast arrived cold so I just left it all. $67 for a under whelming breakfast is a lot. The service was good, Michelle was very friendly and attentive, however we will not be going back.

Was my first time here and had a solid brunch!! Three of us got the works combo with chocolate chip pancakes and it was a lot of food! Delicious pancakes. Our server was very friendly and it was a classic breakfast diner vibe, very crowded inside on a Sunday afternoon. Would definitely return! Better and more of a local feel than IHOP.

There are some dishes at this place that are really well done. The Dutch baby and the apple pancake are absolutely amazing and have never disappointed. Be aware that the Dutch Baby takes a little longer to prepare but is totally worth it. Their fresh squeezed orange juice is also great.

I've driven past the Original Pancake House several times en route to Silver Diner. One day, I was like: Since you have been to Silver Diner a bunch of times, why not give The Original Pancake House a shot? I'm glad that I had that internal conversation with myself, because I had a wonderful experience at The Original Pancake House. I'll safely assume that this restaurant is quite popular because the parking lot is always full, and the restaurant was very full when I entered. Fortunately for me, I did not have to wait for a table because I was dining solo. First, the Original Pancake House's menu is HUGE. I think I counted 8 pages of various dishes, so everyone should be able to find something that they will like. If you are an indecisive diner, then you might want to check out the menu prior to arriving because you will have A LOT of items to chose from. For my selection, I went with the Eggs Benedict + half waffle combo (I forget what's the actual name of the dish). I think this is the first time that I've ever seen Eggs Benedict served with a waffle/pancakes. This was a cool selection, because I have been in the predicament of concurrently craving waffles and Eggs Benedict but not wanting to purchase two separate entrees. So, it looks as if The Original Pancake House has solved the problem for me. My meal was pretty good, and I have absolutely no complaints. In addition to the Eggs Benedict and half waffle, the dish was served with two strips of bacon and hashbrowns. I thought the portions were quite generous. I had breakfast around 10 am and did not need to have my next meal until 4 pm. Overall, service was pretty good. I was immediately greeted by my server within 2-3 of being seated. After ordering, the food came out pretty fast, and the table had all of the condiments that I would need. I did not have an opportunity to explore much of the actual restaurant. However, from what I saw, I thought the restaurant was pretty clean and well-maintained. While the restaurant has plenty of free parking, it has a one way in/same way out situation, which can cause a little congestion. I thought the prices were pretty much in line with other larger, sit-down breakfast spots in the area. I think my meal was about $25 bucks - the meal, coffee, tax, and tip. I hope to be back in the near future, to try more things on The Original Pancake House's massive menu.

I haven't been to the Original Pancake House in a while - and now I can't wait to go back. The pancakes are delicious and the other orders of hash browns and omelets were equally delicious. Shoutout to our server Fozia who was delightful. We found the wait time acceptable and thought that the restaurant seemed less crowded than the last time we went. Nice ambiance as a result.

this trip to the pancake house was truly fantastic. I had the chocolate chip pancakes with a glass of lemonade. They gave me a refill. I had bacon and eggs. It was stupendous. I cannot say enough good things about this place. The manager is fantastic. The team is fantastic. I highly recommend it.

To be honest, I was in deep shit cause I jokingly told my daughter that my wife and I are not her parents and how I found my daughter in a trash can and I had to get her to stop crying before I get home because I know my wife is going to stab me while she goes on ranting about spending nine months carrying her only for me to traumatize our daughter about finding her in a fucking trash can. Look... it's my generational trauma that I'm passing down to her because my dad did the same shit to me also.... It's called tradition. But I digress... So I bribed my daughter with ice cream and I get to live another day stab free. Some pretty damn fine ice cream at that too...

I opened up my Yelp app to see if I had bookmarked anything nearby and T&J's Waffles was the first spot that popped up. I didn't know it was walk up location. I was all prepared to sit at a table and have breakfast, but I was already there and I wasn't leaving without food. My dad and I both ordered the classic breakfast platter. It came with two waffles, probably three eggs (we added cheese so that was extra), 4 slices of bacon, and 2 sausage links, and hash brown. The waffles were such a cute shape and they were delicious. I can't confirm this, but I imagine it's their own special batter. They were very generous with the scrambled eggs and I didn't even have to add salt & pepper. I like that there were two meat options. I just wish my bacon wasn't all stuck together to form one piece. Also, the bacon could've been cooked a little more. It was a little fatty and I like a little more crisp. The star of the show was the hash brown. It definitely seemed like it was homemade. This may have been my first time having a homemade hash brown. I'm not sure what they did to it, but here's my guess. It looks shredded potatoes, mixed with green onion, and maybe some cheese, that was packed like a patty & shallow fried. My goodness, I should've ordered some hashbrowns to go so I could eat them for the rest of the week. The platter was so good, I didn't even mind having to eat it in my car. Lol. It was filling & $16 well spent.

We ordered the Big Eaters Platter, the Corned Beef Hash & Eggs, and shared a Nutella Crepe with Strawberries for dessert. The portions were generous, especially the Big Eaters Platter, making it a solid choice if you're coming in hungry. The corned beef hash was decent, and the Nutella crepe with fresh strawberries was a nice sweet finish to the meal. That said, I thought the food was just okay for the price. Nothing we ordered was bad, but nothing really stood out enough to make me want to come back. The quality was solid, but I left feeling like there are better breakfast options in the area for the same price point. If you work nearby or are visiting one of the surrounding medical offices or hospitals, I could definitely see this being a convenient spot for a quick breakfast or lunch. However, as someone visiting the area, I don't think it's a place I'd go out of my way to return to. Overall, friendly service and a clean restaurant helped make for a pleasant experience, but the food didn't quite justify the price. A good neighborhood café if you're close by, but probably not a destination breakfast spot.
