    Vanilla dipped cone

Dairy Queen is located off Broad St in Mansfield, TX serving their famous blizzards, chocolate dipped ice cream, and many other lunch favorites! We came through on a Sunday afternoon looking to get a small treat but left with more than we expected. Inside the dining area was fairly crowded but manageable to find a seat. We were greeted with a warm welcome from the staff and were told about specials they had going on. After browsing the menu that was posted above the cashier, we decided to get the 4 steak fingers which came with fries, toast and a side of gravy. We also got the Oreo blizzard and a chocolate dipped ice cream cone for the road. The food came out fairly quick and was hand delivered by the staff to our table. The steak fingers tasted good and were fresh out of the fryer along with the salted fries. The blizzard had a good number of Oreos packed in the ice cream. The chocolate dipped ice cream had a nice cold seal of chocolate with creamy vanilla inside. Overall, the food and ice cream were okay but i felt the prices were a little steep for the type of food being served here. The customer service was awesome, and the staff seemed energetic and happy to be there. Along with the atmosphere and ambiance the building seemed a little outdated as well.

The drive thru customer service was a disappointment... Rushed to place our order... No social skills or patience. I am hopeful that the "Now Hiring" signs that are displayed will allow for some growth and improvement here. I'm hopeful. The ice cream was runny, but the order was right.

They're severely understaffed, the place is filthy, and they're so slow. Wouldn't recommend going to eat one of their overpriced blizzards.

My wife and I were finishing up a medical appointment and our tummies were growling. We'd been talking about stopping for burgers when we saw Hideout Burgers. I checked out the reviews and said let's give it a try. We were not disappointed when our burgers arrived. The owners are so gracious and friendly. They checked with us several times to see if there was anything else we needed. My wife is a traditionalist. She likes her fries and a regular ole burger, nothing fancy at all. She loved the fries, and her burger was perfect. I love a good chili cheeseburger and onion rings. Oh my, when I took the first bite, I was in heaven. I had a very happy tummy. The onion rings were over the top. The rings were tender and had the perfect amount of breading. We'll definitely stop in the next time we're in the area. Thank you Hideout Burgers for a wonderful meal.

It has a classic burger joint feel with red and white plastic table cloths and very simple decore that is cute. They have sooo many options and it was hard to decide which one to go with. I decided on the BBQ Cheese burger and some cheese fries. I asked for extra lettuce because I like to feel something fresh with all that bread and meat. I also requested Texas toast because I thought it would add a nice buttery slight crunch. The fries were pretty descent. They were crunchy and didn't feel soggy. The cheese tasted like the plain canned cheese that vendors use for nachos. It wasn't anything memorable or worth talking about or recommending. Now the burger...where do I start... the beef patty wasn't seasoned, at all. It tasted like they just took the meat and put it on the grill naked and it tasted so bland and extremely underwhelming. Even after having to add salt myself it was not good. The bread wasn't crunchy it was soggy despite being almost burnt. They barely added any lettuce and it almost felt like they actually did the opposite of adding more lettuce and actually took away some. The barbecue sauce was so bland it added absolutely nothing to the burger. I was extremely dissatisfied and disappointed. I was really looking forward to enjoying this place as it had good reviews. Maybe I went in on a bad day, maybe it was another person on the grill, I don't know but it was not good. Nothing I would ever recommend. Try another burger place if you want flavor...even fast food burgers were better than this burger joint. I'm so disappointed.

The burgers were cooked perfectly, the toppings were fresh, and the menu has a lot of unique options you don't see at most burger places. The fries and shakes were also great, and everything came out fast even though they were pretty busy. Delaney went above and beyond to make sure everyone was taken care of. You can tell she really cares about the customers and the staff. She was checking on tables, helping the team, and keeping everything running smoothly. It's rare to see a manager that involved and that friendly. She made the whole experience better and is a big reason we'll definitely be coming back. Overall, this location is one of the best burger spots in the area. Great food, great service, and outstanding management. Easy 5 stars. Highly recommend stopping by Twisted Root in Mansfield.

We headed across the lake into Mansfield and stopped at Jakes Burgers and Beer. Jakes stays open until 11 p.m. and was easy to get to off Broad St. I lived off Skillman the last time I had a Jakes Burger and my husband has never had one. Our friendly waiter reassured me they hadn't changed. The menu certainly has though! What a vast array of creative ideas for burgers, sandwiches and even breakfast and brunch! It took me awhile to decide. Salads, platters, veggies. Great choices. There were so many appealing appetizers, but we decided on the Half and Half Hand-Breaded Jalapeño Bottle Caps & Hand-Breaded Pickle Chips, served with ranch. When they came, I can honestly say the grouping looked nothing like the photo. These were much smaller. But for the two of us, the portion was okay and it was delicious. The jalapeños were spicy and the pickles tangy. A terrific combo to get your palate fired up. My spouse had ordered the Kickin' Chicken Fried Bacon Burger and it arrived in all its glory. Two beef patties with hickory sauce and melted cheese, lettuce, red onion, chipotle mayo, topped with two slices of beautiful chicken fried bacon. He let me have a bite of the bacon. It's crazy good. My burger came, the Bacon Bleu Burger with Bacon, lettuce, tomato, red onion, and a creamy bleu cheese dressing with crumbles. I had ordered extra pickles on the side and I received four but I absolutely love them so I asked for four more right away. I think it's sacrilege to just put whole intact slices of onion on anything without separating the rings, so I had to "operate" before I could eat. I also asked for a plain bun. You have a choice between poppy seed or plain. This was a truly delicious burger. One of the best bleu cheese burgers I've ever had and very filling. I took half home! Service was excellent and the restaurant and restroom was very clean. We had a good experience and would return.
