I stopped in this place to buy a donut and coffee and was quite disappointed with my experience. The donut was actually fine. However, they charged me $3 for a small coffee here, which I think is really pushing the envelope for a place like this. To make matters worse, the creme dispenser was completely empty so I had to ask the lady working there for milk or creme to put in my coffee. She went through three milk containers from her refrigerator, all of which had spoiled milk that curdled in my coffee. Finally, she opened one that was okay. The sandwich I got was the turkey sandwich it only had one slice of turkey for a total of $10. The guy who charged me was nice. It was a lady who made the sandwich, but I saw that he looked over her while she made it. I'm assuming he's a manager you should do better and not rip off customers. I called and spoke tose one on the phone they said they don't care. read more

Ordered through grub hub with a very clear note "no nuts, coconut, maple, sprinkles or crumb. Chocolate cake donuts preferred." They sent all of the things I asked them not to send and no chocolate cake donuts. It also said to include napkins and they sent none. When I called and asked for a refund, she said "no refunds!" until I said I'd call my bank and petition the charge and leave a bad review on yelp. Then she said she'd refund. We'll see if they do. read more

Okay, so there's always been a Spudnuts on Victoria and Channel Islands and only been there once like a long time ago. I was in town this past weekend and my little brother wanted boba and the closest place was Spudnuts at this location next to Fresh and Easy. I was surprise how big it was compare to what I remember from the other location. They have tons of smoothie choices and their donuts looked so yummy, but I was able to control myself :) The very next day BF and I were craving some boba so we stopped by Spudnuts before heading back to the OC. While my BF was deciding which smoothie to get i spotted Custard filled donut holes - MY FAVE!! They were 4 for a Buck, so I got a dozen... it might be just me, but it's rare to find a donut store that has custard filled donut holes so i got so excited. This place is danger when I'm in town now... Their boba drinks are $3.75 (one size), they charge 50 cents for paying with a card, so I suggest to bring cash. As for the employee, he needs to cheer up and actually show some kind of service instead of just handing me my drink and turning his back right away without saying anything if he has a tip jar in front of me. I was in town for a business trip and stayed at a near by hotel. My buddies found this place on yelp, so we stopped in for some breakfast. I love going to bakeries and donut stops early in the morning when everything is usually fresh from the oven. It's like you can see those cartoon air waves from the donut's scent pulling me into the shop. For Breakfast: Ham and Cheese croissant, Cinnamon bun, Crumb Donuts, and some bottled green tea. Thoughts: The ham and cheese croissant was simple with a reasonable amount of cheese and ham. There was more breading than needed but that might be a good thing for bread lovers. I like my ham and cheese croissants to be extra hammy and cheesy where my bites oozed with cheese coming out. The cinnamon bun was very delicious. We got it immediately after it came out of the oven. Yippee! It was sweet to the tongue and warm in the mouth. The bun was soft and moist inside and out and tasted really sweet. Too much icing but I ate it anyways because it was fresh from the oven and so fresh. The crumb donut was large and tasty. It made those little 6 pack ones I usually buy from the vending machines to survive a night class look extra dinky and at a reasonable price too! For Service: I'm not sure if the person who helped us this day was the owner or not but he was super sweet. He offered to warm up our food which we would have eaten cold if he had not told us about that option. Who wouldn't like their food warmed up for them? He also picked the cinnamon bun from the batch that just came out of the oven instead of the one on display. Extra brownie points for showing us breakfast newbies from out of town your awesome customer service. This Spudnuts is right next to Fresh & Easy, located on Channel Islands & Rose. I have never been to Spudnuts, it was clean, spacious, welcoming, large variety of donuts & pastries (for a donut shop). They sell ice cream, coffee drinks & boba! There is a lot to pick from! It is open 24hrs and a lot of kids love it b/c its affordable for their budgets. The quality of donuts is very high. I had a powdered donut my sister brought me at 1am...it was still soft and delicious. The donut dough itself was very good. It didn't fall apart and it wasn't too sweet. It was a perfect blend. Open 24 hours a day. As if that was not enough for you they have a wide variety of good junk food. It's not just donuts and pastries, they have ice cream, croissant sandwiches, smoothies, milk shakes, and more! I think i rated this place so high for the sole reason that it is open 24/7 and I seem to have the munchies a lot. One complaint i do have tho is the last time my wife and i went here ice cream was freezer burnt, other then that I have been happy. read more

I've been coming here since it first opened and I was shocked to get a stale doughnut. No worries, I had gotten 2 doughnuts for myself. So I bit into the next doughnut and immediately spit it out. Something in the icing tasted rancid! VERY disappointing! My friends and I have always loved this shop, so it was heartbreaking to see the quality drop so terribly. This is a good place to grab a donut. They're in a weird location. Kind of hidden and not as busy since fresh and easy went out of business. The donuts are always fresh. Plenty to choose from. They also have a various hot drinks like coffee. Plenty of cold drinks like juice and milk etc. they do charge .50 to pay with debit or credit. The staff are always nice. Friendly and sweet making suggestions for donuts (like we need suggestions they're all delish hehe) read more

I love the boba here ! This is my go to place for boba around the city. They not only have boba but carry donuts and breakfast/lunch/dinner sandwiches. I recommend their sandwiches if you are ever in the area hungry or even thirsty to pair with a boba! Always ask for extra boba which is totally free! read more

The donuts are delicious but the customer service was horrible. He was rushing our order and it was difficult to understand him with his accent. I asked the worker to warm it up but he said it was still warm from when it was cooked.. but it wasnt. He also was on the phone the entire time I was ordering. I noticed that the donuts were left open when they went to the back of the store and there were small flies inside the glass where the donuts were. read more

Why be open 24 hours if you can't service your customer? Walked in ~10pm guy doesn't acknowledge me until I wave him down. After I get his attention I ask if I can order a sandwich and he gets mad giving me a speech on ordering sandwiches so late. There are no signs so I assumed ,all day, anyway I let that go and asked for a doughnut to which he just walked away. Seriously just ignored me and left to the back. I liked the Doughnuts but definitely not worth the service at this location. read more

If I could I would give this place a negative 5 stars. WORST customer service ever. Visited on 2/24/17 at approx 550 pm. We were completely ignored. Me daughter and I waited as the guy finished up the order before us. He then proceeded to help the customer that arrived after us... I thanked him for "acknowledging" us and it didn't seem to faze him at all. read more

i think i found my favorite donut shop...and spudnuts it is! im a regular. open 24 hours is a plus for me cuz i get chocolate cravings in the middle of the night and this place is perfect. the donuts here are soo good, not any other donut shop cuz its like good quality type that you can taste and by the texture of the donuts. they have a good variety of donuts which i like. the place is clean and service is great. every time i've purchased a donut i got a free lil donut hole with or with out custard. yum! prices arent that bad either. oh and this place doesnt only sell donuts but coffee, teas, ice cream, sandwiches, scones, muffins, and boba! first place that ive been to the sells horchata with boba. what a great combo! read more

I went there on National Donut Day. This is a nice place. The facility is very clean and well kept and maintained. When I went there you could see that they had had a very busy day and were busily making fresh donuts. They didn't have my favorite, old fashioned, because of the obvious busy day they had. I did however get a dozen and the clerk kindly gave me a bakers dozen (1 extra) to accommodate. I'll go back soon! read more

This is my favorite spud nuts out of all of them. Staff here are always friendly to me. They have THE BEST breakfast sandwiches!!! I always stop by for a turkey, egg and cheese on a bagel. Soooo good! They use deli turkey which really makes a difference! & for $4.50 you cant beat it! It keeps me full till lunch time and sometimes past that! And doesnt sit heavy on your tummy like the guilty pleasures of Mcdonalds breakfast. Donuts and boba are delicious too! read more

This place is usually good when you get the right employee. I get Boba here since it's close to my house, I've gotten donuts here as well which are up to par. But like I said I used to go there often until one of the new employees slacked on the Boba I always get he made it in a rush even though I was the only one there. I questioned him why he didn't fill it up all the way and he said he didn't see anything wrong with it.... Before this guy in particular every other employee would fill it to the point it would overflow on to my fingers which made me feel I got my money's worth and would not just be inhaled In the next 10 minutes. He kinda gave me a "are you serious" look but if he'd known how the usual people made it he'd understand. I tip my hat to the gentleman because he courteously filled it to the top.. I found my new sandwich place. This place makes breakfast and lunch sandwiches. They are better than Quiznos and Jersey Mikes. Sandwiches are just like home, everything is fresh. The donuts looks so perfect they should be in a contest! They even sell Boba. It's a family owned store. The employees are very nice, polite and friendly. Good coffee and variety of selections, as well as good customer service. My favorite location is the Channel Islands bec it's open 24 hrs. Other places like Ventura Rd. and Oxnard locations charges for flavored cream and only have few selections. read more

Our sons go to a Tae Kwon Do studio close by and this Spudnuts store is a fave choice for afternoon snacks. I live their ham and cheese croissant and most especially their Thai tea boba smoothie. Their boba is always cooked well, not hard at all. It's true that the guy is always on the phone but he is very cordial and attend to us nevertheless. We have particular faces such as the Choco frosted donuts and the donut holes. read more

Pros: Large donuts. Sell boba drinks. Cons: When they warmed the croissants (I got cheese and ham), wished it was hotter and wasn't enough ham and cheese for me. Wished they had jalapenos to give it some spice cause otherwise it tasted a bit old. The spudnuts at Port Hueneme is way better. More variety. read more

Over priced and stale , this is the only shop within walking distance and that just bums me out because it's not good. Hardly any filling inside of jelly and bar doughnuts .plus for three doughnuts not even big ones it's was almost 8$ . In oxnard I can't recommend any doughnut store it's better to just drive into camarillo for rolling pins instead of wasting you time money and calories . read more

I don't believe it was intentional at all, and I completely understand that accidents happen, especially during busy rushes. However, the cup was placed in the sink instead of the trash, and unfortunately, the second employee was not informed that it had fallen. I happened to be watching when the other worker went to grab that same cup and was about to pour the boba into it. Thankfully, I spoke up and asked not to use the cup, and the original employee clarified the situation right away. I truly believe this was a simple miscommunication, not poor intent. Still, it made me think that if I hadn't been paying close attention, I could have unknowingly been served a drink in a cup that had fallen on the floor, which isn't sanitary. Communication between staff is especially important during busy times so customers don't have to worry about situations like this. I will continue coming here, as I have for the last 10 years, but I hope this serves as gentle feedback. Even during rushes, customers shouldn't be the ones having to catch these things.

It's across from Starbucks where the old Wendy's (RIP) used to be REVIEW: Call me old-fashioned. But I miss the good old days. When customer service was even minimally common and it was just the norm. I think it's so terribly sad that I would have to request politeness at a business establishment. Where I am spending my time and effort and giving you my money. I should not be treated as if I'm annoying you. I arrived at the drive-through and the girl that answered was speaking so incredibly fast. I could ^not understand her. I asked her three different times if she could please slow down in speaking. Evidently she was attempting to tell me that they had a limited supply of donuts this morning. But once again, I could ^not understand her. There wasn't anything wrong with the speaker. She just was speaking so incredibly fast that I could not understand her. After my third and final attempt of asking her to please speak slowly -when she was telling me the items that she had-she then said to me "I can't hear you " That's it I'm out. The customer is annoying ^you, which is rich, so I'm out. I won't be back. I understand your mileage may vary, and you may have an outstanding customer service experience on ^your visit. But this was enough for me.
