The best tasting Earthquake... is a brownie fudge one at Dairy Queen. Cape Cod DQs tend to be seasonal (unlike those on the West Coast) Some are not only seasonal, but have limited menus. This DQ is dessert-only, so don't come expecting burgers, fries, or anything savory. The Brownie Fudge Earthquake is a rich dessert... enough reason to skip lunch. Their classic plain sundae with a sauce is creamy&satisfying. While the summertime service is variable (and sometimes plain inattentive), they're delightful, despite the cramped parking lot. They are a classic, although this DQ only does ice cream there is no reason to overlook them, the workers are nice and fast, even though the line always wraps around the building it doesn't mean it is going to take a while, if you want to treat yourself but still have to be quick just grab some DQ they have some good stuff! read more

My experience at this DQ was so bad that I downloaded this app and made an account just to leave this review. I ordered a large blizzard with two spoons, and the girl taking my order told me my total was $12.60. I handed her $15 and she handed me back two dollars and some change. After I stepped away from the counter, I noticed that a large blizzard is just over $6 including tax. I politely(!!) asked the girl why she charged me twice this amount and she said something about only charging me for one blizzard, then something about charging me for a friend's dipped cone (even though I watched them pay for their own order), and couldn't get me my receipt. When I asked her again, she made a face and stuck her arm out as if I was in the wrong. I've worked in customer service for years and I completely understand that mistakes happen, but I found this employee's reaction to be extremely rude and condescending when I approached her with a reasonable question. Been twice since they opened this year and have been greatly disappointed with the newer girl they have working the counter. She has butchered our orders both times we've been there and we listened to her tell a friend in line how she was annoyed and wanted to go home. We love the usual staff, and feel it's very unlike this particular establishment to have unprofessional employees. read more

No true complaints about this Dairy Queen except for the fact that they are so good that during the summer the line is a nightmare! This location has incredible staff who make your ice cream quickly. A minor critique is the fact that they don't have waffle cones, but besides that, again DQ is great! read more

I like Dairy Queen ice cream but this location is just not convenient especially during the summer months when it's hot. A friend and I attempted to go there around 7:30 on a Sunday evening and there must have been over 40 people waiting to be served. There was not even enough room to drive into their lot and park. Went there today. Signs clearly state "no mask no service" but they let people order who weren't wearing masks.

I brought my class of 46 eleven-year-olds to Dairy Queen in Falmouth on a Wed. afternoon in June. There were only 2 young women working the window. They show incredible patience for each child who ordered and asked thoughtful questions when a child was unable to completely describe what they wanted to order. Each ice cream cone with dip/ sprinkles, blizzard, sundae or other confection was created carefully and served with a big smile. The kids left small tips which we graciously acknowledged. The kindness shown by these ambassadors for the establishment and the quality of the ice cream will surely draw the kids back to DQ with their families. read more

Dairy Queen is Dairy Queen... except this one. The kid on duty did not look old enough to operate the equipment, but knew the job! He took a somewhat complicated order (usually botched by sibling shops), not only got it right, but even offered to make a very much appreciated modification! He correctly represented a promotion, that I misunderstood, in such a way that it was more appealing. I noticed that he had been making Dillybars and Busterbars, while it was quiet (most shops now get the factory made ones that are hard as a rock inside and don't taste the same). The cost of the order was less than all of the other DQs that I've visited in recent history and the portions were larger than expected. In a tourist area dotted with excellent high end icre-cream shops, this DQ stands out with a clean appearance and excellent service. read more

Though the windows shutter seasonally, this faithful friend has been there on warm summer nights all through my childhood and well into my adulthood.
