Great time when you're in Falmouth! Beautiful view... great vibe! Bartenders are sassy and fun! Chip, Jared and Jen were THE best! Go get 'wrecked' at Shipwrecked!

We drove to Falmouth to look at a boat and needed to lunch somewhere so I chose this place and I am so happy I did! It was absolutely delicious! We started with a yummy French onion soup which we shared. The broth had lots of flavor and not wishy washy like lots I have had. Also it was not loaded with bread! Just perfect!! I had the grilled chicken tacos. The reason they were so good is they seasoned the chicken really well and it was so juicy! It had melted cheese and a little spicy sauce. I can not eat cilantro but the provided me with some freshly chopped tomato because their salsa had cilantro and brought me some sour cream as well. So very accommodating. They were PERFECT! Our server JULES was lovely and spot on. He had a cheeseburger that was an 8 on a scale of 10. Cooked to perfection medium rare! All in all it was just a great place to eat and btw we were the 2nd party going in at 11:30 and by 12:30 it was so busy!

Pleasant dinner experience tonight. Was over an hour wait for two on a Friday night but luckily snagged a seat at the bar which was first come, first serve. We ordered the wings with the shipwrecked sauce as an appetizer. It was a big potion, but the sauce seemed more Asian inspired than a take on BBQ. Not bad though. For food we ordered the jerk chicken wrap and the shrimp burger. The jerk chicken was delicious and so flavorful! Would definitely recommend. For a drink I got the Oreo mudslide which was ok. It tasted like any other mudslide. Overall, positive experience. Would come back.

    Chowder

Lobster rolls and clam chowder it doesn't get more New England than this combination. Shipwrecked is friendly and comfortable restaurant right by the water. Our server Melissa was fantastic! I will be back again the next time I am in town.

Great dinner tonight at Shipwrecked. It was 2 days before July 4th so we knew it would de busy but they were able to seat 5 of us in about 20 minutes. We shared the bang bang shrimp and Lobster Rangoon apps that were both delicious. My swordfish was perfectly prepared and everyone else liked their choices. The water view was relaxing and the whole vibe screamed the start of summer. Service was understandably slow but our waitress was friendly and accommodating.

Called ahead to ask if they had outside seating, they said yes. But they don't take reservations. We drove almost 2 hours to get there, only to find out they weren't doing outside seating that day because they had an event. Not cool. Once we arrived, the hostess (teenager) was giving attitude. Didn't feel welcome. Our waitress (also teenager) and an older waitress were lovely though - very friendly. The food was average. The garlic butter wings were probably the best thing I tasted out of everything we ordered. The fries tasted stale. The location is great. Right across from the beach. The tables by the window have a view of the beach. Metered street parking on the same street was easy to find on a weekday late afternoon.

No reservation required. Parking was easy. Service was also good - but fish and chips were so so.

I usually find what I'm looking for they are reasonably priced and the sales help have always been nice to me.Its the homeless and the addicts that are ALWAYS hanging around outside I can't tell you how many times I've been hit up for spare change trying to exit the place. I also have been inside when a sales clerk has had to boot them out! I also have had some guy actually try to follow me to my car when I said that I had no money on me. They are sleeping and hanging out behind the building in the bushes and st the Burger king next door. Its sad to say that I have had to by pass this place several times and go some where else just because I wasn't in the mood to be harassed. I feel the police should sweep around the parking lot on a very regular basis.

Their selection seems as good as, possibly better than Kappy's. The prices are definitely better than Kappy's. Also, the manager went out of his way to fulfill a special order for me and now they stock my favorite hooch. I've never had a problem in the parking lot (see other review) or difficulty with cashiers (see other review). I'll always go to Teaticket Market when I need booze.

You could feel the energy as soon as you walked in. The bartenders were definitely in the weeds most of the night, but you'd never know it from their attitude -- still friendly, still smiling, and somehow making me feel like I'd been coming there for years (first visit, by the way). Grabbed a veggie pizza (solid choice), a cold beer, and settled in for a couple of hours of great local music and that perfect "this is exactly where I'm supposed to be tonight" vibe. If this is what a random Saturday looks like here, I'll be back.

Review: Jack's Restaurant and Bar - A Tale of Two Temperatures…read moreIf you're looking for a spot in Falmouth where the vibes are high but the Celsius is... conservative, Jack's Restaurant and Bar is your destination. I went in with high hopes and a healthy appetite. Here's the breakdown of our culinary "Goldilocks" experience--except nothing was actually hot. The Order The Boneless Ribeye: This steak was seasoned to perfection and tender enough to make a grown man cry. It had the soul of a five-star meal, but the temperature of a brisk October morning on Old Silver Beach. I'm convinced the chef cooked it beautifully and then gave it a pep talk in a room-temperature hallway for ten minutes before sending it out. The Scallops: My companion's scallops were seared wonderfully. They looked like little pillows of heaven. Unfortunately, they were also roughly the same temperature as actual pillows. Delicious? Yes. Did they require a scarf? Possibly. The "Lukewarm" Mystery It's honestly an impressive feat of physics. To have a crust that crisp on a ribeye and a sear that golden on a scallop, yet have both arrive with the thermal energy of a glass of tap water, defies the laws of thermodynamics. Pro Tip: If you're the type of person who always burns their tongue on the first bite, Jack's is your safe haven. You can dive in with the reckless abandon of a seagull hitting a discarded fry. The Verdict The food at Jack's is legitimately tasty. The flavors are 10/10, the bar scene is lively, and the service is friendly. We didn't even send it back because, frankly, we were too busy enjoying the flavor to care about the lack of steam. It's the only place I've been where the "warm" welcome applies to the steak, too. Final Score: (Four stars--would have been five, but I had to check my ribeye for a pulse to see if it was hibernating.)
