The service and staff are excellent and very helpful and nice i have no issue with that regard. But, unfortunately the facility reeks of old, dried, salty, warm, blood. I could barely finish my peanut buster parfait without becoming lightheaded and sick to my stomach. They need a new cleaning solution soon. read more

Famous for there blizzard ice cream I visit Dairy Queen for the blizzard and their orange Julius drinks in the strawberry flavor. The service at this location is slow because usually there is only one employee. The floors were wet and dirty from the snow. Love this place. Went on hot Wednesday evening. The line was long, but we figured we would wait. There were 3 people behind the counter, working their tails off to accommodate everyone as quickly as possible. It took them about 5 minutes to get the 10 people who were in the way of my ice cream cone, gone. Happiness!! The girls at the front counter were so sweet!!! Smiling, laughing, and joking with the many people. They took my order quickly. Made it quickly. Then flipped it upside down!!!!!! I was like, whaaaaaatttttt....I guess this is done to show the tasty treat is really thick. I was happy. # minutes later, my food was demolished. A little while ago I thought I would surprise my wife with DQ as I was on my way home from work, but the one on my way home closed up as I walked up to the door. Checked Yelp for another nearby and found this one. Called and while I determined that I would not make it before they closed, the lady offered to not only stay open for me, but if I knew what I wanted, she would have it ready for me. This is my favorite ice cream place in all of Troy. The workers there are all very friendly and they all truly work to make the store very customer friendly. I have been to the store on several occasions where I see the workers joking around and having fun with the customers well still giving more than stellar service. I ordered an Oreo mint Blizzard and it was not worth the calories. I should have been smarter about this choice based on where I was, but I made a mistake of ordering this item from the menu. It had a nice mint flavor, which was unfortunately overpowered by all the flavors of the artificial junk that was used to sweeten it. I finished about half of it and threw it away because I couldn't take the increasing amount of regret I was feeling with each bite. Save yourself the regret and choose something healthier like the TCBY across the street. I was also thrilled that they knew how to make my favorite hasn't-been-on-the-official-menu-in-probably-15-years Blizzard without even batting an eye. I needed a birthday cake on 12 hours notice not only did they have no problem doing it, but because of the horrible weather they were closing before I could pick it up from work so they delivered to me at work free of charge!!! Always a bad experience - Once again I was craving my peanut buster parfait which always seems to fade after visiting this particular DQ. I just love watching the employees squeeze a bag with the chocolate for my Sunday (this has happened every time I stop there - not just a one time deal) and maybe because it is difficult to squeeze the bag I don't get much of the chocolate but combined with their stale nuts it just make me regret stopping at his location.
