Amazing custard the best I've had in fact would recommend to anyone! Service was fast and efficient so much so I was shocked because my order was ready before I had finished paying. I also loved the vintage aesthetic very c

This place is good but I don't think it was OMG good. I definitely appreciate the idea of it being custard. And it was not super sweet. They were super busy but very fast service, with friendly staff. I would come back. Definitely a place you can bring family to, with nice feel.

Fantastic custard, great service & ample outdoor seating! This is the local summer spot, the options are endless. Some friends and I stopped by for custard. We got parfait's and regular custard, both were delicious. The staff was kind and friendly! They also had a list of different flavor options offered every week so you'll never run out of things to try! Heads up it's only outdoor seating but there's plenty around. We highly highly recommend!

I've been here off and on over the years and this place has always been worth the extra 15mins it takes to get here for me! Excellent creamy custard, the only one place in the area (on Woodward) that even comes close, is the Custard Cup, but I still think Erma's is better! The other night I just had the vanilla with some hot fudge which was delicious. I've had their butterscotch topping also before which was good too. There are many things I've never tried here, but I'm assuming they are just as good as what I've tried. There's always a long line, but it goes fairly fast, and it's definitely worth your wait!

Great custard for the eastsiders of metro Detroit. There's a reason they've been around since the 40's, it's that good. It's nice that they have a few locations, closer for o me as well. They have flavors that cha he weekly in addition to the standard chocolate and vanilla. A must go to. I introduced my girlfriend to this place this summer, and she can't stop thinking about the toasted coconut parfait. Will definitely be back

Erma's does basically one thing -- frozen custard -- but they do it exceptionally well. Rather than tart up their custard with fake coloring, they use real fruits and other toppings to make their truly tasty custard. There's always vanilla and chocolate available, with two weekly special flavors and a non-dairy ice as well. Service is usually speedy, but if you are ordering a parfait or other specialty item, give 'em a break as it's all made to order.

This place is wow! They are known for their parfaits & they have lots of parfait combinations to choose from. It was our first time here and I didn't take the time to peruse the Yelp reviews first...because there's LOTS to choose from. I ended up choosing the tin roof, which is basically custard, caramel, Spanish peanuts, chocolate sauce & whipped cream. My little one got a small twist with gummy worms (which they didn't add-more on that soon). I love custard-way more than most things in life so I was very excited to try this! I found this custard a bit too "eggy" & off putting. Each time I tasted it, I could taste egg...ewww! It's not my favorite custard. But I still wouldn't give it a 2, probably a 3 if it wasn't for the entire experience. The 2 is because they forget to add the gummy worms to my little ones order. So we went back up and told her and she looked it up on the register and rang us up for $.75. (She forgot to add it the first 9.00 we spent). So she tells me it's a cup full of gummy worms with a lid. I'm thinking ok. What comes out? 3 gummy worms!!! 3! I said oh no no...she said a cup full of gummy worms, at which she replied "yup, that's our cup". I get it...all these little shops have to pay their bills, but .75 for a "cup" 3 gummy worms. So, even without the .75 gummy worms, I wouldn't return. I wasn't crazy about the egg nor the customer service. But cool place!

My Detroit gf is cute af, but so is her sister, and you should see 'er ma. In fact this is 'er ma's custard place. I always produce custard of my own for 'er ma. So far, this is probably my one of my top 5 favourite custards in Detroit - and I've had dozens of them, maybe as many as 50 - and even though Detroit is only second to Milwaukee as the best destination for custard, that is saying a lot because there are a lot of amazing custard stands around the country. With Erma's - The main problem is the long wait time. Service is pretty nice though. Prices are really good. The vanilla is exquisite and the decor on the outside is really cute. There is no inside. Same can't be said about Barbie. There are several locations, and they all seem to be just as crazy busy.

This time I only got a simple vanilla custard, but you can't go wrong with it. Ermas has so many options and so many fun combinations you can make. On top of this, there are weekly rotating flavors, so there's always something new to try. Also tried the blueberry vanilla custard and it was delicious. I recommend anyone in the area come check this place out. There will always be a big line in the Summer but it's well worth it. It's refreshing, smooth, and all around a great experience.

Great custard, love the different flavors for the week. The line can get long at times so you need to be patient.
