    Tons of cute bags
    Kim M.

My dearest Daiso... welcome to Palm Springs. It used to be that my day trips out of the desert would always consist of a shopping trip to Daiso but now I can enjoy the experience in my own backyard (so to speak). Let's start off with the obvious, things have changed this past year and as a store who imports their entire stock the prices have also changed to reflect that. I've said this before but I really miss the days of the $1.25 pricing however maybe that will change one day. For now that just means I browse more and buy less. Now onto the amazing! This is the BIGGEST Daiso I have EVER been to! The aisles are huge with a TON of space to walk and push your cart. I love the selection which despite being pricey is extensive! Snacks, stationary, dish ware, cleaning supplies, there is something for everyone you just have to look hard enough. Daiso shopping bags are also superior so I highly recommend you get one! I can't wait for my next Daiso day!

    Yup these!

From kitchen to bath and beauty, a lot of selection for reasonable prices is available. I am happy to see they have opened in my local area.

Doesn't compare to the original Daiso in Tokyo, but it is nice to have something Japanese in Palm Springs!

Great place with lots of inexpensive items. The pricing was a bit confusing at first, but it makes sense once you walk around a bit.

I don't know how they pick and choose location to add one compared to the normal. I've only been to the one in Orlando and now this location in the desert. Of course you have to have a massive parking lot to accommodate the loads of shoppers and wanderer's. Three entrances on either end of the store and garden center. There's a fast food place inside, you have the deli section and bakery. Of course the frozen section with quite some nice decent items. It's basically a grocery store on one side of the place. Even a decent isle for the international goods. There's a fairly decent section/department where the alcohol is located. So you have one side that's groceries and the other is basically everything else. Home goods, technology, clothing and so on. There's even a pretty decent size garden center that is pretty massive but it was a little sparse with what they offered. Some patio furniture, mainly soil and the usual pots and some plants. They also have a department for delivery and pickup. It's quite interesting for me...lol... Of course you have the option of self checkout or with someone. Bags are additional fee as we all know. What I didn't understand is, some of the items you would need to pay before hand if you want them. There's the beauty department where you have to leave your basket outside and pay for what you need before returning to it. And some other items in the store where you have to do the same or they can leave it at the customer service counter until you're finished. I had to do that with a measuring tape. We were still shopping and asked if it was ok. The staff seemed a bit annoyed with the request but took it to customer service anyways. Besides that concept, it a pretty good place for your one stop shop.

At…read morefirst I didn't realize that there's another location just past downtown Palm Springs tucked inside a strip mall. Then there's this location, which I believe maybe a bigger one. Just off the main strip of East Palm Canyon, you won't miss it. There's plenty of parking which is always a major plus. Right when you walk in, of course you can tell it's a thrift store. One side is where all homes goods and furniture is located and the opposite is where the clothing are. There's quite a big home section which I was quite surprised. Deals were great for some of the things I saw. Pretty much loads of items and well priced. But right in the middle of the store, there's more furniture but it seems to be more of the higher end collection. A good selection on mid century and modern pieces which looked pretty new. They're a bit pricer than you would normally think for a second hand shop but still pretty affordable. Clothing wise, I didn't scan through it as I was just browsing the furniture and accessories. You can score some gems there if you look around. Some things looked amazing but prices were a bit on the expensive side for what it was. It's a pretty cool place to just pop in to see what they carry. Who knows, you could find some amazing gems.

It was pretty busy for a weekday, but this store had the 70s music playing and me - and a few other Boogie Souls - a groovin'! So many cool MCM pieces - both new and used - and great prices. I'm thinking these must come from liquidators and estate sales, as well as donations. There are SO MANY items I loved with nowhere to put them. Thankfully, we also had no room, save for a couple of nooks in the car we managed to cram the books and silly trinkets we found to bring home. I told Hubs, 'We are DEF coming back here with a large vehicle, A LOT of donations, a budget and no common sense!' LOVE that I'm supporting a charitable organization and local community outreach programs by shopping at these Revivals stores. No wonder they are award winning! Cheers! "CC"

I've found numerous pairs of shoes and clothes for myself and my family at this store and, of course, obviously, when you buy lots of items, some items will turn out to be returns. Over the 17 years that I've spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars, this horrible, tiny, little older man has followed me around his store and has made every encounter with him as nasty as possible. I finally had to complain about his outrageous outburst behavior to the Marshall's corporate office for screaming and yelling at me over having to return a knit blouse that had a hole in it that I hadn't spotted when I purchased it. In front of an entire lineup of customers behind me, Steve decided to throw a hissy fit yelling and screaming and shouting at me that: "We don't carry that brand of clothing in our store", which was a complete lie as it was from the Ivanka Trump clothing line that Marshall's and TJmaxx did carry and we're selling until the brand was discontinued and whatever was left was placed in their clearance section. Steve then kept away from me until I found him in the shopping cart area, having followed me out there from inside the store and he told me to hand him my shopping cart and he pushed it away. several evenings ago, I had a return to make to Marshall's that I put into a TJmaxx plastic bag, which Steve obviously spotted since I wasn't trying to hide it, by any means. I saw Steve rush into his office when he saw me. (I'm pretty hard to miss, I'm tall, a former model and always well dressed and groomed.) When l gather up some things on clearance and went up to the cash register, Steve had obviously called over there to have the older female employee hassle me by demanding that I give her my drivers license, because, in her words, "It's been more than 30 days since I'd purchased the items." Immediately joining the cashier was apparently another manager or someone from security, both of whom looked at me so very oddly, both of whom examined every inch and detail of my face and makeup and the clothes that I was wearing, it was completely rude and shocking, but I continued to stand there, comply with giving my license and waiting as the cashier ran my information through her computer and found nothing, because there was nothing to find. She held up my drivers license and loudly proclaimed my name, for what purpose, I have no idea. I've never ever asked to hand over my drivers license when I've had my receipt, but this was a ruse perpetrated to access information about me in their database, I assume. Steve, the horrible little manager, never made an appearance during any of this, he was orchestrating the unnecessary drama behind his 'Wizard of Oz' curtain from his office and had, yet again, managed to viciously harass me, create drama and make me vow to never ever shop at that store again.

Came here for some Korean skincare since I ran out and found a good selection in the skincare aisle. Looked up Pretty Skin toner online and Reddit said it was a decent toner for $5.99 and they were right. In the past I found a pepsi bathing suit that fit and looked so 80's but it looked great! Definitely stop in if you're having a fashion emergency and need some great finds at a great price.
