    car lifted, engine dropped

Ben takes your car more personal than most owners. I've also heard that he's one of the very few certified NSX master technicians in the east coast. Dont be surprised to see several NSX's at his shop. I took my NSX to him, he did his analysis, told me how long he'd need the car. In two weeks I had 2 pages of tasks he performed (car sat in dealership for ~1yr; 1991 NSX with low 30,000miles). Nearly 4yrs later, and with another ~50,000miles added, its had no maintenance done besides oil changes, and the VTEC solenoids that were replaced. Thats it! Ben does accomodations as well to ensure you're a returning customer. Update: Its 2018, and the NSX has 100,000miles. I've done nothing more than changing oil. Not too many daily driven NSXs out there. nsxprime.com: username Lamini

Spotlessly cleaned and installed engine/trans and re-assembled and installed OEM exhaust from cut down to ship off of donor car.

I've been rocking with Radial Tire Co. for many years, and they continue to exceed my expectations…read moreevery single time. Their service is impeccable, their pricing is fair and competitive, and they consistently treat customers with professionalism and respect. One of the things I appreciate most is the comfortable second-floor waiting area overlooking the hard working staff. It's quiet, clean, and equipped with free Wi-Fi, coffee, tea, and water--making it easy to relax while your vehicle is being serviced. The staff has always been gracious, courteous, and genuinely helpful. A special shout-out to Tamika for her outstanding customer service, and to the little Chihuahua that can often be found relaxing on the couch, completely unbothered by everything happening around it. Both add to the welcoming atmosphere that makes this place feel different from your typical tire shop. What truly sets Radial Tire Co. apart is their approach to customer service. Unlike some businesses that seem to see dollar signs when a customer walks through the door, the team here sees people. They understand that vehicle issues can be stressful, and they do their best to make customers feel informed, valued, and confident before they leave. Everyone in the DMV area should know about Radial Tire Co. If you're looking for honest service, knowledgeable staff, fair prices, and a business that genuinely cares about its customers, this is the place to go. And just to be clear--I am not an employee, nor was I asked to write this review. I'm simply a long-time customer who believes great businesses deserve recognition.

I had a pesky leak on my left front tire that only got worse the more I prolonged it. At first I…read morewas able to put air in the tire and it would last for around 3-4 days but now it was only good for hours before my tire would go flat. To make matters worse all four of these tires are basically new and less than 30 days old! Anyway, this whole thing was driving me nuts, so I started shopping around for a place. I remembered this local place that allowed you to drive up for on-the-spot repair and they work on your tire(s) while you wait in your car, so I decided to give them a try and I'm really glad I did. When I arrived there were a couple of cars ahead of me, which wasn't a big deal since this place is similar to a drive-thru you allowing you to conveniently wait your turn in your car. They work pretty quickly here and before I knew it I'm pulling forward to get my tire looked at. The mechanic was friendly, respectful, and took the time to listen to what was going on with my tire. He quickly got the tire off, diagnosed the problem, and explained what needed to be done in plain language. The problem was with the valve stem, which had a leak. The mechanic got right to work making the repair and explaining to me what he was doing. The work was done efficiently and correctly, and he made sure everything was explained to my satisfaction. There was no pressure, no upselling, and no runaround; just honest work and solid service. Oh, and the cost of this repair was less than 25 bucks! I couldn't believe I received this much service and such great work at this price point. What makes this place stand out to me is the customer service from all of the staff, but in particular the mechanics themselves that are actually working on your car. Usually, the people working on your car are hidden in a garage somewhere while you wait in a waiting room, so you never actually meet the mechanic working on your car. At Mac's you are up close and personal to the mechanic. That's a huge plus in my book. You can tell this is a local business that actually cares about its reputation and all of the customers coming there. It's the kind of shop where they remember you, talk to you with respect, and make sure you leave satisfied. If you're tired of chain shops and want to support a local business that does quality work and treats customers right, this is the place to go. They earned my trust, and I'll definitely be back for future tire and service needs. Highly recommended!

I also asked them to check the transmission fluid and investigate a suspension knock that I was hearing/feeling. The owner checked the car and called me and we agreed on the work to be done and the price. He explained that the knocking was due to strut and sway bar wear and I decided not to have that work done this visit as he said it wasn't a dangerous situation. When I went to pick up the car I had additional discussions with the owner and I found him to be very honest and sincere. He understood that I was reticent to sink a bunch of money into a 12 year old car. He knew I had done my own brake work and said he was confident I could do the suspension work myself and even gave me tips on how to do it. The work LARC did was done well, with quality materials, and at a fair price - not cheap, but fair. The owner also checked out an old Mazda I had and while no work was done, that experience was also very positive. Another good feature of this shop is that the station is open late so you can go in after hours and pay and pick up your car. And "The Grill" also has great food to boot. There is always an element of fear when I take my car in to have work done. Mechanics many times are in a position to take advantage of customers, and many do. So besides knowing I am going to get quality work done at LARC, I feel there is great value in knowing that I can trust that I'm going to get honest feedback and not get scammed. I feel very fortunate to have found LARC and I will definitely be using them for future work.
