    car lifted, engine dropped

Ben takes your car more personal than most owners. I've also heard that he's one of the very few certified NSX master technicians in the east coast. Dont be surprised to see several NSX's at his shop. I took my NSX to him, he did his analysis, told me how long he'd need the car. In two weeks I had 2 pages of tasks he performed (car sat in dealership for ~1yr; 1991 NSX with low 30,000miles). Nearly 4yrs later, and with another ~50,000miles added, its had no maintenance done besides oil changes, and the VTEC solenoids that were replaced. Thats it! Ben does accomodations as well to ensure you're a returning customer. Update: Its 2018, and the NSX has 100,000miles. I've done nothing more than changing oil. Not too many daily driven NSXs out there. nsxprime.com: username Lamini

Spotlessly cleaned and installed engine/trans and re-assembled and installed OEM exhaust from cut down to ship off of donor car.

Literally, better then new because Ben addressed common failure components and upgraded parts where necessary.

That was amazing and I'm very thankful, but even better was the very friendly service, actually inviting me into the shop to watch the process. Paul explained everything about the tires and recommended better ones next time. And the workflow is interesting where you put your car in line and in my case they actually allowed me to drive my 10K lbs diesel camper van into and out of the shop myself. I really appreciated that. I typically do all my own maintenance to make sure it's done right, but may give some of to them because I watched them work and trust their expertise. I highly recommend Radial Tire in Silver Spring and will definitely go back for anything they're willing to do. I couldn't believe they did what others couldn't for only $20 per tire and mine are over 100 lbs each! And they're one of the few shops in the area that have very tall shop doors. Great experience all around. Thanks guys!

I am including a brief description of the condition of the vehicle when I arrived at Radial Tire Monday (2/16/26) at 2:00pm. The receiving manager and I discussed the tire issues and history. I told him I had a service light in the dash that was saying a tire was low on air and they were new tires (vs the previous service light for sensors not functioning). He measured the tire pressure of all the tires and they were all at different psi (33, 34, 42 and 18). My vehicle was placed in a service line and I waited in a lobby for approximately an hour. Radial tires took the low tire off the vehicle and tested it for leaks and determined the problem was that a valve stem hadn't been correctly sealed, the tires were all fine. Before leaving the work bay, I noticed the sensor light was still on, so a retest determined the driver's front sensor was going bad and it was replaced. The service manager told me Toyota and Lexus have challenging tire sensors, that they can often get one sensor working and the computer will then say another good sensor stopped working. I left Radial Tire around 4:30, problems solved and paid for one new sensor and install. I've had several people tell me Radial Tire is the BEST in this area and they will have all of my business in the future and that of anyone I know. Thank you for resolving what was a time consuming, frustrating experience!! I'm so glad my friend recommended you!!

Recently, I faced a situation where one of my tires went flat after hitting a curb, and another tire had a slow leak due to a nail. The team at Mac's efficiently repaired both tires, getting me back on the road promptly. I cannot speak highly enough of Mac's when it comes to handling any tire-related problems--they truly have an exceptional crew!

At first I…read morewas able to put air in the tire and it would last for around 3-4 days but now it was only good for hours before my tire would go flat. To make matters worse all four of these tires are basically new and less than 30 days old! Anyway, this whole thing was driving me nuts, so I started shopping around for a place. I remembered this local place that allowed you to drive up for on-the-spot repair and they work on your tire(s) while you wait in your car, so I decided to give them a try and I'm really glad I did. When I arrived there were a couple of cars ahead of me, which wasn't a big deal since this place is similar to a drive-thru you allowing you to conveniently wait your turn in your car. They work pretty quickly here and before I knew it I'm pulling forward to get my tire looked at. The mechanic was friendly, respectful, and took the time to listen to what was going on with my tire. He quickly got the tire off, diagnosed the problem, and explained what needed to be done in plain language. The problem was with the valve stem, which had a leak. The mechanic got right to work making the repair and explaining to me what he was doing. The work was done efficiently and correctly, and he made sure everything was explained to my satisfaction. There was no pressure, no upselling, and no runaround; just honest work and solid service. Oh, and the cost of this repair was less than 25 bucks! I couldn't believe I received this much service and such great work at this price point. What makes this place stand out to me is the customer service from all of the staff, but in particular the mechanics themselves that are actually working on your car. Usually, the people working on your car are hidden in a garage somewhere while you wait in a waiting room, so you never actually meet the mechanic working on your car. At Mac's you are up close and personal to the mechanic. That's a huge plus in my book. You can tell this is a local business that actually cares about its reputation and all of the customers coming there. It's the kind of shop where they remember you, talk to you with respect, and make sure you leave satisfied. If you're tired of chain shops and want to support a local business that does quality work and treats customers right, this is the place to go. They earned my trust, and I'll definitely be back for future tire and service needs. Highly recommended!

Patient, great customer service with a smile, even though I walked in and they had other jobs before me, he didn't make me feel like I interrupted his day (even though I did). It's nice to not get taken/upsold when you come in for one issue - being a woman, I'm used to getting the "girl" version on vehicle issues, never mind that I'm a certified master tech. When he went over the diagnosis, he used layman terms but once I asked a more specific question, he switched over to shop talk and didn't tell me "you may not understand how it works" (Century Ford/Dodge service advisors use that as their go-to phrase when they can't answer a technical question -- irrelevant to this review but I'm only here because I got tired of the smart ass comments there). The tl;dr version? Go see Armando/Orlando at this location, he is what service advisors are supposed to be like.
