The value of Daisy Import Auto is the trustworthiness of Ben & Ian and their skill in doing the job right for Hondas and Toyotas. I was referred to Ben & Ian by someone who had worked for them some years back and knew how they did business. It is a relief to find a shop that communicates openly and has a passion for taking care of cars. Our first service: dropped our 2002 Honda Odyssey (208k mi) off, with all service records, for brakes and timing belt replacement. Ben went over the car and records, then made recommendations based on our desire to keep the car as long as economically viable. I had a concern about the transmission for this model year. He provided guidance, and obviously knows the brand as well as issues with specific models. He found several problems (torn motor mounts, damaged front struts, transmission leak) that the dealer should have found when it was in for recall work 1 month before. When I picked up the car, he showed me all the parts - not because he wanted me to see they had been replaced, but because he really wanted me to understand what the mechanical issues had been. Unfortunately, Ben had also discovered our prior shop had cut corners (I'm being kind) - for the last tune up, the other place had only changed the front spark plugs. Of course I had paid for a "complete" tune up. Based on our experience with Daisy servicing our Odyssey, we now also service our Toyota Camry with Ben. Service on the Camry has been equally excellent and has followed the same pattern. I have confidence in the reliability and operational safety of both cars. I don't want my wife and kids getting stuck roadside anywhere. The value of going to Daisy for me has been not only the quality of work, but the ability to have a frank discussion on how much money to put in the car. Amazing shop. Below the original estimate, and ahead of schedule, with the car better than new! I had a problematic manual transmission in my RSX (I had "lost" 5th gear), and was given Ben's shop as a tip from a friend. I needed some additional work done on my daily driver,(those items that were difficult to do in my "shade tree" parking lot). I spoke with Ben, and his Honda/Acura knowledge depth impressed me, and I have owned and worked on the basics on a number of Honda's for over 20 years! He is truly a master mechanic, expert in the make. Ben listened to my woes, and made suggestions that were definitely, in my perspective, going to double the life of my car! He pointed out where my car's problem area's were, and worked with me on how to solve the issues. He did not dismiss my perspective, nor did he try to pad the bill of work with truly un-necessary items (like some other shops and dealers in this area do). I have had this base RSX since new, and in my opinion, Ben returned my car, feeling "better than new". I had small issues from the get-go, a bit more axle hop than expected, a touch of buzz in the drivetrain, less on center feel, that I dismissed as being an economy cars "feature" set. Well, after Ben's touch, all of these items were dramatically improved upon! I definitely see what the NSX guys and girls see in this shop! I am moving out of state soon, but will return to Ben's shop even with my more modest RSX. He is that good! read more

I can't recommend Daisy Import, Ben, and his team highly enough. They are professional, knowledgable, thorough, and kind. I'd even call them protectionists. Sadly, I am one of the last remaining Saab drivers. Finding someone willing to take me and my favorite on has proven to be difficult over the last 5 years. After two ecstatic recommendations, I contacted Ben. Honestly this was the first time I was spoken to straight about this car. My comfort level jumped even higher when Ben mentioned that he, too, had car seats in the back. With complete confidence, for the first time in my car maintanence history, I can now drive my lovely Saab and know that it is properly looked after, AND that I'm not being ripped off. Fast forward three months - I was involved in a car accident. The first place the Saab was towed to didn't even want it on the lot, much less to take a look at it. With great panic, I phoned Ben for advice. Ben not only said to have it towed to him, but wanted to be there when the insurance guy came by to check out the damage. My amazement didn't stop there. Ben and his team took the Saab on and rebuilt the whole front. There were a variety of challenges that Ben took on with a laugh and a smile. I've spent 14 years dreaming of owning an Acura NSX. I've spent 5 years shopping for this car. To say that this is a car I've desired is an understatement. And to say that Daisy Import Auto is an NSX shop is also an understatement. When I finally found my car, I brought it straight to Ben (after reading all of the positive reviews from the NSX Forums). As soon as I drove in and Ben looked at the car, I came to the conclusion: Ben is an expert at restoring these cars. Give him just 5 minutes and he'll spot everything that needs addressing. Leave the car with him and he'll restore the car to perfect running condition. My car was almost two pages long of everything that needed to be fixed or repaired. Ben goes down to the tiniest of details because he genuinely is passionate about getting these cars restored. Had I brought my car to a dealership, they would have not only ripped me off, but I highly doubt they would have taken the time to go actually go through the car in detail. I took my Honda S2000 to Ben after struggling to find an honest mechanic that charged fair prices and really knew what they were doing. Ben is an absolute wizard with any Honda/Acura vehicle but also does amazing work on a wide variety of makes and models. He gets the job done right the first time and won't break the bank on cost while fixing your car to the utmost of high standards. Daisy Import will treat your vehicle like it's one of their own, and I can say this without question. This is DEFINITELY the place to take your S2000/NSX/Type R, but I would not hesitate to take any other vehicle here because of their quality of work, timeliness, and price. My husband and I, have taken several of our cars to Ben many several years. I recently had an issue with my 2016 Lexus. The glove box door would not close so I contact my local Lexus dealer in, Rockville to schedule an appointment. When I arrived at the dealership, the service advisor indicated that I need to have the spark plugs, oil change and tire rotation service completed. He provided me with the estimate of $689.00! Wow seemed really high but what do I know? I immediately thought of Ben and Daisy Import Auto Care. We contacted Ben and he said, "bring it in and I will order the factory parts from Lexus." We brought the car in and Ben completed the service along with replacing the air filter and cabin air filter all for $450. Absolutely the best service I have every gotten on any of my cars. My husband and I have seven cars and needless to say, something is usually wrong with one of them. We usually do most of the work on the cars ourselves. We recently purchased a used Acura. Upon the recommendation of a friend, we took the car to Daisy Automotive to have some preventative maintenance done. Ben spent a lot of time going over the car and gave excellent recommendations. He did the work at about half the cost that the dealership, and he also took great pains to cover the paint so that it would not get damaged. Ben is the best. I needed work done on my 2008 Honda Accord. I searched owner boards looking for a mechanic in my area. Daisy Import Auto Care was mentioned very favorably. So, I gave them a call. I've never looked back since. When I need work done, I go there. I've needed : Power steering rack VSA Module Accelerator Pedal Module All the work was done for way less than what the dealer and shops that were much closer to my house were charging! At Daisy, you're not gouged. I was even shown what the dealers were charging vs what Daisy charges!! I recently wanted to upgrade the suspension with Ground Control coil-overs. I was completely satisfied with the work. They even fixed my wife's Ford Five Hundred for HALF what the dealer was charging! When you find something that works, I stick with it. Daisy Import and Ben and his Team are amazing. They treat your car with surgical precision and impeccable care. Daisy Import is obviously THE place to go if you have an NSX, but that meticulous expertise also translates to other cars as well. I have a BMW M3 that has been getting beaten up with the potholes and terrible roads around the Bethesda area. Ben and his team fixed my springs and shocks, among other things, and got my car tuned for an unbelievable drive. While Ben and his team may not be able to fix the ailing roads and other problems of society (yet), they can make your perspective on the world much better when you are driving a finely tuned machine from Daisy Auto. This is a gem auto store find. Will be visiting Ben for all of my car related. I took my 2013 Audi S4 in for front, center, and rear differential oil change, and transmission fluid change, since the dealer charge me both arms and legs. While in the shop, Ben found that I also need few other necessary things to put the car in top shape: sparkplugs, coils, front brakes, belts (engine and supercharge), cabin filter, etc. Anyway, the car drives much better, shifting is buttery smooth, the idling is so quiet now. And the most interesting part is that the price is way way lower than the dealership. I would have pay 3 times for all the work if I have the Audi dealership to do it. I'll try to make this straight forward and concise as possible. My experience at Daisy Auto has been nothing but wonderful. Ben and Ian are great guys that are truly passionate about what they do. I'm not just another Joe Shmoe who shows up, hands them my keys and picks up the car when it's finished. Ben and Ian showed me exactly what was needed to be done to my car and why. It's as if my car was their own, and their attention to detail is very hard to come by. They really CARE and will bend backwards for you. My husband and I want to give a HUGE shout out to Daisy Import Auto Care! I ran over a razor blade in a parking lot and had to put my spare tire on to get home. I needed to drive quite a distance to work the next afternoon and could not use the spare due to distance and highway speed. I called several places and was unable to find tires for my car. After much procrastination I took my 2000 NSX to Ben and Team for a 17 year refresh. In about 10 minutes one can tell that they know more about the car than anyone else I can imagine. Every leak and potential age related item was taken care of with precision. The car was returned in perfect running order and now feels like it is ready for another 10-15 years of joyous motoring. I recently contacted Ben thru E-bay regarding a 2017 Honda Civic Type R in hopes of completing the purchase.Ben and I were able to come to an agreement and I completed the purchase, thanks to Ben that was the easy part.
