    Ricotta pancakes

Came for Sunday brunch and I love that their entire kitchen is open so you can order dinner entrees at 1030 if your heart desires. They also have $2 mimosas and you definitely can't beat them! Fun fact, their happy hour also includes weekends so take advantage of that! One critique is that their bone marrow and spaghetti & meatballs was super oily, so our plate when we were finished eating was drenched. The ricotta pancakes are a must and hit! Super soft and fluffy. Loved them. Our server was very good at his job, offered his suggestions, and was very friendly!

We had a wonderful and unplanned dinner here! We were on our way somewhere else, and the sunny patio caught our eye so we decided to turn around and try it out. It might be our favorite spot!! They had a wonderful mocktail selection and my husband enjoyed his cocktails! We shared a Caesar salad which was perfect. I had the lamb chops with roasted veggies and a side of pesto pasta, and my husband ordered the pesto pizza, both of which were wood fired. Our server, Sebastian, was a delight and gave us amazing service. We will definitely be back!!!

I came in for happy hour for the first time and had a really positive experience. Our server was so friendly and helpful. We sat on the patio and I appreciate that you can get the happy hour menu no matter where you sit in the restaurant since so many places are bar-only. I had wine for $5 and my partner had the spiced apple cocktail for $8. We also tried the spinach dip and each had a $10 pizza. The pizzas were good size for one person. I had the mushroom one which was very good. My partner had the mortadella and didn't really enjoy it. He said the meat didn't have a lot of flavor and he had wished he had ordered mine. Other than that, I had a nice time and would like to come back to try some of their other menu items.

Service was excellent, meatballs were incredible and this has gotta be one of the best happy hours in Cleveland! Would absolutely recommend getting the lasagna to share!

The pizza was a great lunch treat. The cheese was fresh and its aroma was cheesy and funky! The crust had a great flop, and underneath it had nice subtle char marks indicating a perfect balance of hardness and texture without burning or overcooking. The gentleman who took our order in the phone was polite, welcoming, and friendly. He made the ordering process effortless. Overall the pizza was a perfect treat for lunch on a sunny 70 degree day!

Tried here for the first time on Valentine's Day. I can't wait to go back! We had a reservation, which was made easily online. The man at the host stand was warm and friendly. We were seated at a little table (the place is small but packs in a lot of small tables). They were running a valentine special for $99 per couple, and we couldn't pass it up! Wha a deal! We each got a glass or wine. Both were sooooo tasty. And the wine glasses were huge haha! We go a spinach dip. The dip was fine, but the bread was hard as a rock. Completely inedible. Could have chipped a tooth on those! I thought about asking for fresh bread, but our server didn't come by the table very often, and was in such a rush when she did. Then we got a cheese pizza that was sooo good. Tasted just like Italy! Yum! We had to ask for water. Which came in a very small bottle for us to split, which was very Italian, but the bottle was so small. We were thirsty most of our dinner :/ Then we got our entrees. I got the eggplant parm and I WAS OBSESSED! It tasted exactly like Italy! Mmmm. I can't remember what my husband got, but he liked his too. Then we got the Leon mascarpone cake for dessert that was okay! We loved looking at the Italy slideshow of pictures, reminiscing on our own trip to Italy. It was really fun. Overall, I would definitely recommend and visit again !

Servers were great! Drinks were good! Food was severely underwhelming. They microwave the Lasagna as mine was cooked unevenly. Ambiance was a great vibe with outdoor seating. If you come here, have a couple martinis - chat with the servers, then grab actual food elsewhere.

Tried this place after seeing it on TikTok. It's very cute and the ambiance is great. The team was very friendly. That said, the food has some opportunities. My husband and I got the meatballs (3/5), spinach dip (3/5), short rib pasta (3/5), and risotto (2/5). As a vegetarian I love Italian restaurants because you can count on them having a pasta I can eat but unfortunately not here. I will say that the pizzas looked good, I'd be willing to try that next time!

My daughter and I made reservations to dine at Dal Fuoco before heading downtown to see a show at Playhouse square. Overall, I would say the dining experience was a experience for me. Our server was David and he was FANTASTIC!!! We were in time for Happy Hour and ordered: Herbed Oil and bread - which was great!!! Cheese Pizza - ummm yummy!!!! Wine for my daughter I ordered 2 Watermelon lemon drop martinis - the little sign on the table said $5 (but I was charged $8 for them - but still a good deal as they were delicious - just confusing) For entrees, I ordered the lasagna - which was fabulous, and my daughter ordered the eggplant parmesan - she had been here one time before and thought it was incredible. Yesterday was not as great and she left a little disappointed. Here's where the stars really come off to make it only three stars versus five as we were leaving. It was in a downpour and I ran down the street to get my car. My daughter was standing by the host. He seemed very nice at first, but then he started trying to educate or something, my daughter on the ways of Italy and telling my daughter that if we were in Italy, the Italians would be very offended that we did not spend 3+ hours at the restaurant - I'm sorry we had a show to go to and we were already there for 90 minutes) and if you were disappointed in the fact that we didn't stay at your establishment for three hours perhaps you'd like to give us our money back as a show of your extreme disappointment. My daughter and her husband recently traveled to Italy and did not stay in any restaurant whatsoever in the two weeks they were there for 3+ hours and never felt like the restaurant proprietors were disappointed in them. Also, he started lecturing my daughter how in America everything is rushed in people are rushing to get out of restaurants and if you walked into their restaurant five minutes before close, they would never rush you out and give you a full course meal that you had intended on having even if it meant staying three hours after close so good to know for all night owls!!!! I honestly don't know what this guy was trying to prove, but he kind of ruined the whole vibe and the whole experience for me with my daughter telling me about this. Anyway, the fabulous food in the exceptional service shouldn't be docked because of this guy who thought he was better than everybody else - gosh I hope he's not the owner and I just gave him my hard earned money and he's offended that I didn't spend 3+ hours in his restaurant. I guess next time I just won't visit Dal Fuoco and I have to try to keep in mind the 3+ hour minimum time commitment when recommending restaurants to my friends.

I asked my mom is she wanted to go out for dinner on this fine autumn Friday and she said yes there is a new Italian place on Clifton. I used to live a block north of the place on 105 and Lake. One of our favorite new places has been La Ville Lumiere which is right next door. I'm happy to see the old neighborhood get more good dining options. I used to just drink at Tick Tock Tavern or Johnny Malloys way back when. The staff at Dal Fuoco was so kind and warm. It's nice to step inside from out in the cold to friendly people. The service was excellent. We had the caprese salad, wedding soup, meatballs, pizza and eggplant. All of it was great. Highly recommend the meatballs and pizza. Nice neopolitan style. The sauce is a nice bright red, fresh tomatoes. None of that dark red thick tomato paste based sauce you find at some other local joints. Prices are very affordable as well. They will be getting a liquor license soon and should have a few bar stools. Nice patio out front so hopefully they will have seating out there if and when we ever get warm weather again. Come try a new local owned joint in a great neighborhood and spread the word! Got the tiramisu to go and just had it, so good! Truly a night to remember.

My friend and I discovered this restaurant yesterday via a Google search. I'd never heard of it before, turns out they opened a few months ago. We ended up going two days in a row because it is that good. I live in Beachwood, otherwise it seriously would've been a third night. Lisa was our waitress both times and she was awesome and had great suggestions. Every single dish we tried was outstanding, like crave-worthy. My friend and I were very pleasantly surprised. The prices are all very reasonable but there is also a happy hour daily as well. The restaurant has an open kitchen, and plenty of seating. It's truly a hidden gem. You will not be disappointed.

    Chicken parm

We had lunch there on a Friday and it was lovely. Restaurant is very pretty with a very European feel. The owner waited on us as it was slow at that time and the service was fantastic. Husband got bolognese and I got chicken parm. Both very good. Definitely get the lemon marscapone cake (we got ours to go)!

It was topped with a thin layer of rhubarb jam that brought a nice tartness along with a dollop of sorghum butter and whipped cream, and served with Ohio maple syrup on the side. I could have easily had a whole stack of the pancakes. The staff was friendly, and though the place was busy, the service was efficient. Excited to come here again! We shared the loco moski, paprikash sandwich, and a side of bacon wrapped tots (good option if you just want 2 and not the full appetizer). While the bacon wrapped tots are famous from Food Network's Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives, I actually liked the loco moski and paprikash sandwich more. The loco moski is a fun combination between a loco moco but with pierogi, and I like that the peppered gravy wasn't too rich. The paprikash sandwich was also a great combo of chicken, sausage, peppers, cheese, paprikash, on lightly crispy bread. Parking available as free street parking--though you may have to circle to find parking since it's near the Christmas House. Staff were nice and efficient. The place does feel a little tight in terms of space with less lighting, but there's still plenty of seating and what matters to me more is good food. Overall, great place to try local food. Would get the loco moski and paprikash sandwich again.

I wanted to try the pierogi and the Polish boy and the KRAUT and having an extensive beer menu doesn't hurt either. Friendly neighborhood watering hole literally on the corner and basically across the street from the a Christmas story house allowing you to eat within eye sight of the leg lamp. I wanted basically everything from the menu that came vegan (spoiler alert there are tons and tons of things) but gastric space comes at a premium on vacation so we settled on the fried cheese. I was very excited to see the Polish boy (and vegan option no less) I didn't have much of a choice. GF ordered the vegan pierogi platter with vegan kielbasa on a bed of kraut. Firstly the fried cheese was head and shoulders above any mozz sticks or anything of the sort that I have had in memory. The breading is seasoned and crispy and heaven on earth. The cheese is PIPING. Like you will burn yourself if you, like me, have no patience. The accompanying tomato sauce is also steaming. So good. The Polish boy was also in a league of its own. Love that they have a vegan version. What a combo. Probably one of Cleveland's most important community contributions. We ordered the latkes to go and they were orgasmic. What a special place.

We were totally fine with that, went and grabbed a coffee from a local shop, and then returned to the restaurant. Food was great and the server was so kind! The reason for the 3-star review is because the hostess was very rude. She completely shattered an easy 5-star review. We had nine people in the family, and one was golfing. We intended to put in a takeout order for him but due to the 45-minute wait, he ended up finishing before we were even seated. We invited him to come along and then we were called to be sat. We ordered his meal for him prior to him arriving and this was still a major problem for the hostess. She basically threatened to move us back outside and told us we were "holding the table" even though we would have never done that. Instead of giving me the opportunity to explain to her we would have done takeout anyways had he not arrived(but he did because again, it was a 45 minute wait), she just continued to talk over me. It made all of us very uncomfortable and the first 10 minutes we felt very on edge and unwelcomed. She then did the same thing to our ninth person when they walked in the restaurant 5 minutes after. He had no idea what had already occurred and was also caught off guard. Most of us worked in this industry in the past, and we thought we were doing the right thing by letting her know. Thank you to everyone else who helped soften our experience. It was very appreciated. Every person who brought a dish to our table was extremely kind. We all had something different on the menu and there were no complaints!

It's tucked away in a residential area inside an old house, giving it a charm that's impossible to manufacture. There are no robotic greetings or scripted welcomes here, just genuine hospitality from people who seem happy to be behind the bar. I forgot the ricotta was supposed to be there because it mostly tasted liked mushroom, but it was good. I also got the cinnamon monkey bread. This was not good. It was seemingly cooked in the paper that it was served in so the top of the bread pieces were crunchy, the middle was softer and then everything else was completely stuck to the paper. I didn't get to eat about 1/3 of what I paid for and I had to work really hard for the other 1/3. Also, the bread had a very spicy taste. It must have been cinnamon and allspice, but it was entirely too much and very overpowering. It truly tasted like a spicy savory bread which is not what I was expecting or wanted. Monkey bread is usually gooey and sweet. This missed the mark, but that's okay. I'll certainly return for another treat soon. Also the bread was looking fire this day.
