This ain't a "snow cone" or "shaved" ice. It's the real deal. Try their organic flavors. Wow.

Yes yes yes! I think I found my new favorite dessert spot for the summer! These Korean shaved ice…read moreare where it's at! They are perfectly light, and sweet and packed with flavor! You don't feel like you're eating shaved ice! You feel like you're eating a fluffy cloud! When you walk in, you are greeted by kiosks where you place your order. You don't have much interaction with the staff other than than they calling out your number when your order is ready Only downside is they were playing music way too loud! The store itself had maybe 1-2 other parties inside... but the music was too loud we practically had to yell at each other to MAYBE hear the person right next to us. I definitely was not a fan of that vibe. The dessert itself though was phenomenal

For those driving here, we did notice it was connected to small parking structure. Upon entering the front, there were 2 kiosks. We had no interaction with staff. There was no customization with the selections and there was no one to ask. For instance the mango shaved snow came with the melon. I wanted the strawberry shaved snow with the melon balls but they didn't have that option. When you order additional toppings, they leave it on the side. Not visually appealing at all. My niece and I shared the Strawberry Shaved Ice ($18.99) and added Mochi ($2.50) and Melon Balls ($4.25). After you order from the kiosk, you seat yourself and they'll call your number when your order ready. I really like their shaved ice here because the ice is creamy and flavored before they shave it so it's extra flavorful and creamy. It's just really expensive for what it is and especially pricey when you want additional ingredients. Most other shaved ice businesses will allow multiple ingredients for a portion of the cost. One thing that was weird is how it came in a plate instead of a bowl shaped container. Eat quick and make sure it doesn't tip over. I'm so torn because I like the product after the addition of more toppings, but I'm not sure it's worth the price. Also no staff interaction and lacking customization makes my experience as a customer frustrating and limited. Not sure if I would come back.

Def a lot more on the dessert side because of this. We shared one of each. The honeydew was the perfect flavor option for the ice. It's sweetness and freshness complimented well with the cream and the cookie. The texture of the shaved ice was fun as well. Service was very quick. They serve your items on nice wooden plates. I also enjoyed the layout and the table designs. Great size for optimizing room. There were lots of people when we went, but it made the ambiance feel nice. Great spot to come with friends, family, or any large group. Street parking available.

They are beautiful desserts and the cafe is so aesthetic. There's seating indoors and outside and street parking or neighborhood parking nearby. Everyone was really friendly too and patient while I decided what to get. For the actual desserts, they are so creamy while also being dairy free! They're light, not too sweet, and the toppings add texture and more flavor making them the perfect treat. The only downside is that they are quite pricey for the size so they're more of a specialty than a regular treat.

Both came with red bean and mochi. The taro bingsoo also had crispy coconut shavings while the black sesame bingsoo had almond shavings. You also get a side of condensed milk. Both were delicious! I see why it's so popular! So creamy but light and fluffy, my new favorite dessert! They were huge too! Perfect for sharing! A great way to cool down during the warm weather! This time we tried the injeolmi bingsoo which was a great choice. Although it was very and I mean VERY powdery, the bingsoo flakes mixed with the injeolmi is a great combo overall. Not too sweet but adds plenty of flavor. Although not my favorite flavor, it was a nice choice. Through each visit, I'm pretty impressed with the staff, very friendly and accommodating. They move the waitlist pretty quick to have customers seated due to how packed this place can get. Peak hours are definitely Friday/Saturday evenings so plan accordingly. Free 2 hour parking validation is provided if needed which is always the best especially in LA. Excited to visit again to try more flavors as I'm very interested in their toast menu.

With plenty of parking since it's located in a shopping plaza, this small shaved ice and boba shop may be the only shaved ice in the area. I haven't really searched for any others because Brian's always gets the job done. I remember this was one of the first shops, back in the day, that had the dole whip ("they have the dole whip that Disneyland has!!") and people used to come for that. Now you can get dole whip anywhere but those were good times. They haven't expanded on the size, but they've kept this place up and the service is still excellent. Every time I come in, the seats are clean, if people aren't sitting in them and the vibe is cool. I used to always order a shaved ice, but lately, my oldest and I have been into their boba drinks. My youngest always get a shaved ice with 3 flavors and he loves some sour spray. My oldest always gets a milk tea boba and I switch off between all the milk tea boba flavors. This time I went with the jasmine milk tea and I wasn't feeling that one as much. I am a fan of lavender, caramel, taro, Thai and chai, and my goal is to ultimately try them all. I highly recommend Brian's after all of these years and make sure to grab a stamp card. If you have kids, it'll fill up fast! 10 stamps gets you a free item! OOOOO 5 out of 5 Afros

It's just a lil hidden in the corner. I'm glad bc it's def gonna become one of my go-to's now. Ive been here twice and it def gets busy around lunch time, not many seats were available when we went here around 12pm. But I'm glad business seems to be doing well bc it's a cute place. Cozy little spot with great food and bingsu! They absolutely nail the fluffy snow-like texture of Korean shaved ice. Portions are pretty big so I'd say stick to either getting food or shaved ice bc I have a pretty big appetite but couldn't finish either! And it's a lil hard to store bingsu in the freezer since it's prone to becoming completely frozen if you leave it in there too long. It won't have the fluffy melt in your mouth texture anymore. So eat as soon as your can even if you take it to-go (they pack them in drink cups with lids if you order to-go). I've had the matcha, Oreo, mango, and original flavors. They're all good but I'd rank original last bc I was expecting a lore more injeolmi powder like ive seen in pics + the flavors were too subtle for me (I did order with oat milk however so that can be where I went wrong). I'd say Oreo was my fave of all that ive tried. Only the ones with a white base are available with dairy-free options btw, so matcha and Oreo can't be made dairy-free. They appear to have seasonal flavors as well. The panini was very good. My partner called it prob the best smelling sandwich he's had LOL. I'm excited to try their drinks and other sandwiches next time!
