Dali is one of my favorite spots for Spanish tapas! The ambiance here is wonderful.... its stylish, fun, and cozy (which makes it a great spot for the winter). The portion sizes are good/filling (considering they are small portions) and the food comes out hot/whenever its ready. I recommend 4-5 dishes between two people. Our favorites were the croquettes, short rib, and the Dulce de Leche Pastel Helado dessert. Getting a sangria with your meal is a must! They really have perfected this drink... its not too sweet and strong... but not too strong. Overall I really love this place, its a great go to for friends, families, and date night. The interior is very colorful and cozy (read: cramped), but maybe some people like that level of proximity. The service is solid and items came out at a good pace. They accept reservation through open table however for group of 6 or more call them up. Definitely one of the best however keep in mind, they run on "Spanish Time" according to one of our friends from Spain. Well, it never mattered as we had plenty of it. It can feel the service is slow however its how things are in many countries. Food is definitely great but might fall on the expectation. Its more homey and authentic so if you were expecting something else dont be disappointed. They are specialties and not necessarily have to be gourmet. The drinks were great esp the jalepeno margarita and the pisco sour( had to ask them to make it using a pisco from peru). The regular white cava was so refreshing. Thanks to them and dual bday celebration a carafe with a snout was handed out to us to share. It was fun. Amazing night out with great food and kind service - I would recommend this place for a nice dinner or a group outing as I saw plenty of large parties, but as a group of two, we enjoyed ourselves a lot! We came here originally two weeks prior to dine in, but due to reservations, the space was booked up. I immediately made reservations for a Saturday evening and I would advise anyone who wants to dine in to do the same a few days ahead! You won't regret it! We were seated quickly after checking in for our reservation and I found the space's vibe to be very warm and quaint. The restaurant is deceptively big ( they fit a lot of tables into such a small space ) but the crowded atmosphere just made it feel lively. Our waitress took a long time to come around to grab our order, but once we did place it, the food came out quite quickly. The menu is has so much variety that I truly feel it covers all its bases. As a tapas restaurant, you can choose a variety of dishes and get full after trying plenty. For a party of two, we ordered 6 main plates and 1 dessert, and that was more than enough. We left feeling quite full so I'd recommend anywhere from four to seven depending on how much you eat! Each plate is honestly a little pricey, but the quality was fantastic and I didn't regret any of our choices. We ordered bread along with our dishes in the beginning, but for whatever reason, we didn't end up getting it. We told our waitress and she did look apologetic, but we ultimately were happy we didn't get it as we were too full for it anyway. I got the Spanish Kiss as a drink and overall I found the price for it to be really fair - it was a lot of liquid with good flavor and decent strength. I was definitely feeling it after a few sips! We got the Jamón and Tortilla Espanola first and found those dishes to be exquisite. The ham in particular was just amazing - the quality made us want to savor each piece as it was cured so well. The meatballs and rabbit came next and those were really nice really nice eat side-by-side. Visually, they're both meats in sauce so they look similar, but the tastes were so different and delicious in their own way. The lamb was more marinara ( I felt like I could eat it with spaghetti right then and there ) while the rabbit had more of a cinnamon / sweet taste - really unique! The rice came out a few minutes later and honestly, this was the best dish in my opinion. The black squid ink and sauce had such a strong unami that complemented the calamari well - they both tasted fantastic next to each other! The potatoes weren't as crispy as I was expecting, but the flavor was amazing as the sauces were great and powerful. The churros were a great way to end the meal - the dough itself wasn't completely coated in sugar, making the dipping sauces really stand out, the dulce de leche one in particular. Came here on a Sunday night, reservations highly recommended if you want a seat. Upon first impression, the decor and interior vibes are superb, eclectic, and cozy all at once. A bit crowded seating wise, but I didn't mind. Unfortunately, the tapas left much to be desired. They were not serving paellas on this night, so I only tried tapas and desserts. We tried many of the tapas, and best dish we had was the focaccia bread and the artichoke dish. Flavor was lacking in all the others. As far as dessert, we tried the churros, which were undercooked in the center and could have used more sugar on the outside. The dulce de leche dipping sauce, however, made up for that. We love Dali's. I took my wife here over 25 years ago when we were dating. We went again a few times while we lived in Cambridge as a young married couple. Now many years later we came back to visit it with our teenage children and they loved it too. We started off with non-alcoholic sangria, liter, which the teens enjoyed. They were happy they didn't have to just drink water. We first ordered my wife's favorite tapas dish, duck with berry sauce. We were disappointed that they no longer had the fish baked in salt dish. And I was hoping they would have the escargot tapas which they've only had once but they didn't. We ended up ordering 6 tapas dishes. We ordered the bread, the spinach and arugula salad, the octopus, and the baby lamb chops. The bread was a standout, as strange as that might sound - but it's worth getting! The octopus is excellent, and the spinach and arugula salad is very light and refreshing. I would definitely come back with a group for a birthday or any other occasion. Between the 3 of us small people, we split 6 tapas and a red sangria pitcher and it was more than enough! (Which is very unusual for a tapas place, and we didn't even pay an arm and a leg). For food, my favorites were the artichokes stuffed with mushrooms, the jamon/goat cheese/melon/pear skewers, and the Lomo de Buey (tender beef with delicious cooked fruits). I went here for the first time last night for our company Christmas party- There we're only four of us. We atmosphere was friendly and warm, if a tad noisy at times but that's normal. The servers were all masked. The food was quite nice and I think reasonable in price. We ordered bocitas in waves, stopping when we were full. I was scanning the room looking at all the wall decorations sipping on my delicious fresh tequila basil margarita. We had reservations so we were sat within minutes. As we were brought to our seats we walked through rooms that I didn't even know existed! And the decorations kept getting more and more beautiful! The music was upbeat and the atmosphere was lovely. Every dish was delicious. Obviously we had some favorites over others, but here's what we ordered: 1.) Tortilla Española (4 stars) 2.) Empanadillas de Vegetables (3 stars- filling needed sauce instead of dry lentils) 3.) Alcachofas Rellanas (5 stars- must order!!) 4.) Queso Rebozado con Miel (5 star- must order!!) 5.) Pinchitos Morunos de Pollo (4 star) 6.) Albóndigas de Cordero (5 star- must order!!) 7.) Dessert: Dulce de Leche (4 stars- we were expecting a cake. This was essentially ice cream with an outer hard crust) Our server was amazing. For my second drink, I ordered the white sangria and it was way too sweet for me so I didn't drink it. My server noticed this and asked why I wasn't drinking it. She told me she would take it off the bill no problem and get me a replacement drink if I preferred. What amazing service! Loved the bar area and the decor at the ceiling. make sure to checkout the cool shadow box on the left! it's the cutest little picture collage of the whole place and the family. The food was amazing. I had a few favorites and the ones that extremely stuck out to me was the rabbit, croquettes, and empanadas. The rabbit was extremely tender and the sauce it came with was so perfect and flavorful. It reminded me of a beautiful stew. The cod croquettes were also my favorite! they were perfectly deep fried and were just stuffed with cod, no fillings!! The green sauce that came with it was amazing. The empanadas were so flavorful and not dry at all! nice flakey crust and juicy meat inside. Would definitely recommend these three, the rabbit, cod croquettes and empanadas. The one i personally did not enjoy is the duck. It was dry and did not like the berry sauce that came with it.
