    Soy Vanilla Latte (Medium Cup)
    Keldon F.

I was visiting Vancouver for a weekend and my Airbnb was next to this coffee shop. Came around 9 am to get a soy vanilla latte. I was disappointed that I was charged $1 for the soy milk and $0.75 for the pump of vanilla but other than that its was good. The place has nice brunch vibe perfect for both breakfast & lunch and they have quite a lot of seating both indoor & outdoor. Later that morning I order two more latte's for my wife and a friend. Since its was my first time buying drinks thru the app I got a BOGO deal that saved me some cash! The only issue I had was it wasn't clear where I go to pick up the drinks. I order the drinks while at the cafe but didn't receive any notification or call outs that my drink was ready. It wasn't until I went up to the lady in the front that I realize my drinks were just sitting next to the cashier. It would be nice if there was a sign indicating to-go orders.

Got a great veggie hash bowl from their brunch menu and a matcha latte! Big portions, and great vibes for brunch with friends. They even have a grocery store and were giving away oat nog

My friends and I came here during the Light Up Chinatown event in the summer! I tried the sweet milk cold brew simply out of curiosity. I liked the way you can see the layers in the cup :) It had a light sweet flavour (not too sweet), and it was the perfect refreshing drink for a hot day! I love how there are plenty of places to sit and I enjoyed the neutral calm decor while I chatted with my friends. Overall I think it's a very cute spot :)

Now I've passed Dalina several times on Main Street & always thought of it as - just another coffee shop in Vancouver. I decided to pop in today & I was surprised. It's actually a Grocery, Kitchen & Coffee joint all rolled into one. I like the concept of what they're doing here! Great variety of selection amongst a pleasant setting - an uber chic cool place to hangout & work or have coffee. There are vegan & vegetarian options. Dalina sells a limited selection of groceries as well. Liquor is also available - cheers! The decor & design of Dalina is very impressive. Very clean cut relaxing joint - that is a break from the hustle and bustle of Main St. I was in the mood for a very light dinner - so I opted for a Moroccan salad that satisfied me tremendously. Chinatown continues to transform & keep up with the times while continuing to hold onto its strong history.

A very large coffee shop and small grocer all combined into one. I was a huge fan of their cafe space. The baristas behind the counter were oh so friendly and welcoming! I got a latte and a scone to go and both certainly lived up the expectations. The latte was just at the right temperature when made, not too hot and perfect for sipping. The scone was buttery and very tasty and went perfectly with my latte! Great place for coffee and to meet up with friends (when the pandemic is over).

I love coming here for lunch, my favourite: the Salmon Bisque and Cream of Mushroom!! I especially love the bread that's served with it, soooo perfectly grilled! Crispy and chewy and flavourful. I can eat a stack of them! Haha Staff are always very friendly here, nice and clean environment. I also tried the salmon soba lunch box - very good! Never been disappointed. Keep you light and energetic for afternoon's work. I started coming here when my coworker was obsessed and always wanted to come for lunch. Eventually I caught on and come pretty often :) Nice Change of pace in Chinatown. P.S. Patio seating is lovely! And they have a sparkling water tap! How cool is that!!

the bicerin was phenomenal. they use dark chocolate and had oat milk alternative, so i'm a huge fan. the cafe is clean, simple, and aesthetic. the staff was super welcoming. definitely a cute spot to catch up over a cup of coffee. not only is the interior pretty, they have a outside patio space. overall, the place is well designed and executed. they also have additional sitting near the rear of the store next to their grocery items. there were cute succulents (each named!!) placed around the store for purchase

My new favourite place!! Coffee is devine and made to perfection! Staff is very friendly and attentive. I need to come here more often (after my frozen dimsum run) and try their offerings that are mouthwatering. Good selections for our vegan friends as well.

O-B-S-E-S-S-E-D. I'm such a fan of Dalina. Dalina is a small little grocery shop that sells fun, healthy products, plus a cafe serving up delicious, healthy treats. It's located in the heart of Chinatown, on the corner of Main and E. Georgia. So compared to a lot of the other shops and restaurants in the area, Dalina stands out as a bit more of a cleaner, hipster spot. When you walk in you're met with the cafe side first. I ordered myself a london fog, a small breakfast veggie frittata, and a bowl of the maple glazed sweet potatoes w/ lentils and pomegranates. I took a number and they said they'd deliver it to my table when everything was ready. Towards the back is the small market/shop. A small selection, but nonetheless fun and unique. There were quite a few seating options - a communal table towards the cafe and plenty of tables along the window. Along the grocery side, there are a few other smaller tables and window seating. My favourite part though? Their covered, heated patio. It was a cold, rainy day, but I opted to sit out here since it was empty and quiet. What a blessing in disguise! It was so cute and cozy out there. It felt like a little hidden oasis amidst the busy and rainy Main St. My food and drink came out quickly after I'd settled in. I was a big fan of the breakfast veggie frittata. For one small piece, it was very filling and tasty. Maybe it's because it had sweet potatoes in it. I'm not sure, but it was great. Speaking of sweet potatoes, my little bowl of those orange tots were SO good. The lentils and pomegranates were a surprising, yummy touch. I think I'm going to start adding pomegranates to a lot of my other salads from here on out. Dalina, you inspired me! This spot also serves cocktails, so if you're looking for a mid-day adult pick me up, this isn't a bad spot to come to. I will most definitely be back soon. Btw, thank you Dalina, for serving me the best london fog, I have tried so far. I was in earl grey heaven!

This place... is incredibly pricey, in my opinion. That is, when it comes to the actual food they serve for the price they sell it for. I find that the portions are very tiny and a little hard for me to justify buying. Even the goods from To Die For Foods is more expensive here than they are at the Juice Truck. Perhaps the charge comes with the fact that the location in itself is convenient and is aesthetically pleasing. The cafe is well-organized and would probably be a good place to study if you can find a seat. I've dropped by a few times and all the seats were pretty much taken: come early if you got stuff to do. The tables, if I remember correctly, are pretty small though. If you have a dozen textbooks with a MacBook in tow, I personally wouldn't recommend coming. There's a lot of options for you to choose from. They're not just a cafe so you can do some of your healthy grocery shopping and feel mighty good about it. They also put allergen labels on their food, and there's more than a handful of vegan options. Get the donuts from Dipped Donut Co. when they come in--they're as good as Cartems. Just be prepared to shell out some money. I'll come again when I got coins to spare.

Welcome to hipster heaven. Truly. If you take all the best grocery items from whole foods, and put them into a small corner store-slash-coffee shop, you've got yourself Dalina. We visited on a recent sunny Sunday about 11am and had no trouble ordering some teas and brunch items and grabbing a table in the back section. It was really private and quaint despite butting up to the last row of packaged grocery items. I adore the aesthetic and their focus on selling local food items. This is a great place to pick up some items for a picnic down before walking down to false creek. Sadly, I wasn't overly thrilled with the food we ordered, though my partner enjoyed both: 1st, we got the avocado toast with a poached egg on top; it comes flavoured with fermented leeks etc., which I found to be a bit overpowering and unnecessary. The toast, which they source from Fife (bonus points!) and the avocado could probably speak for themselves without the extra flavouring, but I'm just one opinion. 2nd, we got the Uovo Affogato (kale, prosciutto, poached eggs, and toast). Again, i wasn't a huge fan--this time because I thought they had way too much kale in the dish; made for an imbalanced dish (in my opinion). That being said, my partnered enjoyed both. There's no doubt we will be back to try more of what they make and to pick up groceries. They've done great with the space and it's an excellent spot to visit.

This area isn't exactly the best -- there was a beggar lady loitering outside for awhile -- but this place stays clean inside and out. It's a "hipster" place, and I mean that in a nice and good way! SPACE: There's an area for working and eating. Outlets are available too, but there isn't too much space... Although I think you'll always manage to find a seat. I was there on a Monday from 1pm to 6pm, and it was never too crowded. There is also an outdoor patio area that is covered and fenced in with tables and chairs if you'd like to enjoy the fresh air, but knowing the cold Vancouver weather, you might want to wait until spring or summer before sitting outside. GROCERIES: As many have already mentioned, there is a section at the back packed with goodies that you could buy, both frozen and non-frozen: dumplings, chips, drinks, bread, you name it! There are shopping baskets to use if you were to buy a lot of groceries. FOOD: They have a breakfast menu that runs til 11am. There are plenty of vegetarian options too. They didn't have many selections for me (being on a no onion, no garlic diet), BUT they were so accommodating and offered to make something for me. Didn't wanna be a hassle, so I just got a croissant sandwich, cheese herb scone, and a Jasmine tea. My croissant was edible, but it was burnt ... They probably forgot about my poor croissant as it took quite a long time for it to come. This is the only downside of my entire experience here. I think they'd give you another for free if you asked for that, but hey, I don't like to complain about or waste food, so I just took it. :) They are also very willing to top up on the hot water for my tea too! They checked up on me around two times? to see if I needed refills. The staff were busy at few times, so I went ahead to ask on my own, and they were super friendly about helping me. Also! I'm not sure if they do this often since it was my first time there, but we were given FREE SAMPLES of HOT CHOCOLATE to try out! It tasted really good too. :) ETC: Washrooms are available for use, but you have to ask for the keys. I didn't use it, but my friend said it was really nice. ;) There is a small basket to put wet umbrellas in, and no, my umbrella didn't get stolen for the entire 5 hours I was there. We really enjoyed the music that was played in here. It was kinda like indie, retro, funk -- there was a healthy mix of "popular songs" (i.e. Calvin Harris - "Feels") and stuff that you never hear before (there was a Spanish song in the playlist). Disclaimer: I'm not good with music haha, so maybe the "never hear before" part only pertains to me. :p There are multiple cute, tiny hooks outside to tie your pupper to if you need it. :D My friend commented on the hook's smallness, but I personally dunno if it's effective or not. Either way, it's cute and considerate for pet owners. :) They have this cute plant named Becky that they take care of in here too! -- although I think they change up the plants every so often. Plants require good care, so that says something about this place!

Mainly came here because the name is like my name :P I'm not into the hipster vibe so I didn't really get the appeal. London fog was good. Outdoor patio seating is also really cute. But most of the food and grocery area seems overpriced.

Foccacia was very crispy outside and soft inside. One of the best sandwich. I will order again. Monte cristo was also good. Grilled bread was very crispy and nicely pressed. Provolone and prosciutto cotto combination was great, too. Sundried totamto provided great accent. I will order this one again, too. Overall, it was a great sandwich shop. Highly recommend.

Gosh it absolutely did not disappoint & I should have ordered another one! The taste of this sandwich was so delicious, I couldn't chew it fast enough. The cabbage, tartar sauce & fish-katsu sauce are delightful together. I got the gyu-katsu sandwich. I found the sandwich a bit small and for the price, it was pretty expensive. $16 after tax. Don't get me wrong. It was tasty. I found it nothing wow. The beef was cut in a certain way that it remained as one piece to make it easier to season. The gyu katsu is their more popular sandwich. However, it doesn't come with any lettuce or anything other than the beef and sauce. The bread was nothing special. It was basically thin regular bread. It does take them about 10 mins to make the sandwich. In terms of the way they serve it, it was presented to me nicely and the box was made to perfectly fit the sando inside. Not a bad sandwich but it was just pretty pricy.
