I heard a lot of bad things about this place, so I wasn't very excited to try it for the first time. I came with a party of 16 people on a Thursday at 11:30 a.m., and there was no wait. We were seated in the large room toward the back, where there were 8 or 9 large tables. The first thing I went for was the sushi station. I got two pieces of salmon nigiri and a couple of pieces of California rolls. The salmon was fresh and didn't look dry, which was a plus. Next, I tried some of the hot vegetable dishes. I had the broccoli, green beans, and mixed lotus root slices. I was surprised they didn't have a station serving roast duck, roast pork, and chicken. Another thing I tried was the DIY stir-fry station, where I selected some noodles and extra cabbage. It was delicious and not too salty, which I liked. I didn't try much else because I was already full. They also have a drink area with a variety of canned and bottled beverages available, in addition to fountain drinks. Parking is not an issue because the restaurant is located right next to a parking lot. I will definitely come back to try some of the other items. If you want to sample more of what they offer, the key is not to take too much of any one item.

You pay upfront before being seated, with an automatic 8% service charge. The $26.99 lunch buffet is reasonably priced, especially since a regular meal can easily cost the same. I came with my mom today, and her senior price was $24.49, which is a nice discount. She was satisfied with the food. Food-wise, it's a mixed experience. The hot dishes are mostly either very spicy, heavily fried, or covered in sauce, which tends to mask the natural flavor of the meat, not really my preference. There's also a selection of dim sum, desserts, fruits, and sushi (though I skipped the sushi since it didn't look very appetizing). The drink options are fairly varied, which is a plus. One thing to note: the bathroom floor was very slippery. There was a yellow caution sign, but I do wish they would address the issue more thoroughly rather than just relying on a warning. Overall, it's an okay spot for the price, but the food quality didn't stand out enough for me.

Nothing amazing but also not bad. I went here for dinner on a Tuesday for my mom's birthday. My family loves buffets so I grew up going to so many. We saw this on social media so wanted to check it out. Parking was very easy, we parked at the garage next door. The buffet was so spacious inside, so much seating. It wasn't too busy and there was a good amount of people there on a weekday. Everything is self serve. For drinks, there's a drink station area where they have a selection of sodas, drinks in the fridge, coffee, and tea. I thought it was unique that they have a malatang station. I definitely had to check it out. It wasn't bad but it was just super salty o.o I think that they need to add more soup to make it less salty. I liked that they had potato noodles yum. I was excited to try out the clams and it was quite bland. I went to try the bbq station where they cook the meat for you. I got the short ribs and ribeye. The short ribs were very sweet and fatty. I could only eat one and the ribeye was just ok. It was quite thin and it was a bit overcooked. I liked that they had a dark chocolate fondue station and a self serve packaged ice cream area. I thought I got a bad packaged ice cream since it was very mushy. I just took it out of the fridge, but I checked out the other ones in the fridge and it was the same as well. It is so out of the way so I don't think I would come back.

Me and the crew just got into SF for work and I needed to feed them. I know pleasing 5 different people for dinner is a trick, but I've been with this crew long enough to know that a Chinese buffet keeps them all happy, they can eat whatever they want and as much of it. It was a bit of a rude awakening when I saw the dinner prices compared to all the other buffets we'd been to. Welcome to SF! $40 bucks per person for a buffet. This seemed like a regular standard Chinese buffet with the usual, wings, ribs, sweet and sour stuff as well as some more Chineasy fish dishes and a selection of sushi. Glad the company is paying the bill! Service is the usual Asian buffet kinda just clear the plates and fill the drinks, we ain't here to be you friend. Unless you speak Chinese, you just make hand signs. I think it's Cantonese they speak here, just guessing. The food was all hot anyways, so no lu ke warm food like some buffets, I think they turn over the food here pretty fast with all the people in here eating. I guess it was just OK, that high price I just have to get used to here in the Bay Area! The food was decent overall. The interior was actually pretty nice, better than a little mom and pop.

One of my favorite buffets in the Bay Area ! It's a very popular place to grab lunch. The prices are pretty reasonable. It does get crowded so I suggest to come early, especially on weekends. One of my favorite items there is the Ramen bar and also the dim sum bar. They have a variety of different items. I also enjoy the sushi and the rolls they have available. They also have king crab legs, but there is someone who monitors the area. They also have bottled drinks available in the refrigerator such as water, different types of tea and soda. Parking is available in the structure.

Greetings to all, this is my first time to at Daily Buffet since Kome buffet closed up shop some years ago; let's see how it went: Parking is to the Left side of the restaurant and it is Free; this is a Good thing. Inside the restaurant itself is a modestly lit atmosphere that works for what they are trying to achieve. The service was ok and we were seated within good timing even though it was on a Friday. Once inside , it's everyone for himself and get your Food fix on. The food for the most part was Ok and delivered hot to the serving trays; the only thing I would say that Needed attention to it was the Amount of time that the Tempura - Pot stickers- Dim-sum sat out and became Hard. Beyond this, it's showing good things.

Last week was Fridate. As recommended, my husband & I tried the Daly Buffet. I heard about it but never visited the restaurant. As we entered, there was a line and people were waiting. There was a theater screen behind the check in counter. There was one line & I was told that we pay first before getting our table. We were seniors so we paid less than the standard. After paying, we were told to go to another line to wait for our table. They called the # on our ticket. They had large dining room. Nice fixtures. We got our table where a big TV screen was. I went first to get the food as my husband watched my bag. I started first the dimsum and soup station. Loved the taste of the regular bone broth I had for soup with other ingredients & noodles. They also cooked the meat of your choice. On second round I went to the sushi rolls station. They had different presentation of rolls and they were alright. The fruits served were not sweet yet. My husband enjoyed what he had like meat with olives, sweet pepper, fried drumsticks, fried rice, etc . He got the shrimps for both of us. He kept on deveining it which was not fun. He can handle the shells but removing the veins was taking time. He ate the shrimps and tasted some sweetness but he liked it. There were many people at lunch. The bus boys were fast on clearing the plates on tables which was nice so there will be more space for the second round of plates. You really need to come to this restaurant with empty stomach. I said I may not come back anytime soon. But my hubby wants to try some other meat served. The long sink in the bathroom was kind of plugged. The water did not drain well. The handsoap they provide does not really wash the food smell on your hands. It is like those cheap handsoap. Just to please my husband, I can come back just for dimsum & soup.

My family rented out the back room for a gathering of about 40 people, and I really appreciated that this restaurant was able to comfortably accommodate such a large group. The space worked well for our event and made it easy for everyone to enjoy themselves. The food selection was very diverse, which was a big plus. They offered a wide range of options, including Chinese, Japanese, and even Italian dishes like pizza, so there was something for everyone. The Chinese food, while flavorful, felt quite heavy and greasy, so it was easy to get full quickly. In addition to the main dishes, there was also a grill station and a soup station, which added some nice variety to the overall experience. One downside was that some of the plates and silverware didn't seem completely clean, which was a bit off-putting. However, aside from that issue, the experience was overall enjoyable, especially for a large group setting.

This is a great place for large groups or even if you're by yourself. My family came here to dine after the celebration of life services for my step mom, her and my Dad were married for 45 years. It's going to take my Dad some time to get on his healing journey! We ate, laughed, cried, and ate some more. This buffet is certified delicious, with every dish of your dreams. You can eat free on your birthday, but they would like for you to bring 3 more people. We enjoyed ourselves to the fullest. Thank you Daly Buffet......

Daly Buffet was full at 1pm on a Monday. $32 w/service charge and tax for lunch. It is nice to see Daly City getting a buffet again. The food isn't great. A lot of stuff are missing at lunch like snow crab and short ribs. The items I did like are fountain drinks, prawn crackers, malatang soup station and stir fry station. The rest are forgettable, but at least it is all you can eat. Do you remember when Kome got hit with massive fines for wage theft and tax evasion in 2019? Then the owners rebranded it as The One. Kome used to have this coupon system where you can get 1/2 of a weird looking lobster at dinner. They also had this wonton soup station and peking duck.

Where do you go for a birthday celebration? Daly Buffet!!!! Why? Because if it's your birthday, you don't have to pay. Just remember to show your ID and ensure you have a party of 4. Excited to try out this buffet and to see how it compares to the previous Todai Buffet. First the layout is pretty much the same. However, there is the addition of the Korean Bbq and a section for help yourself beverages. Lots of flavored bottled teas in the fridge. The BBQ section can take time. First, pick your meats. Short ribs is limited to 2 only. Place the plate on the counter and the staff will help you BBQ it. However, this does take about 5 mins depending on the line. The staff separates the veggies and meats and when they are done, they put the plated food on the top of the counter. Beware, if you do not keep an eye on your food, someone else may take it because they do not give you a number or name, so you just have to watch them cook your food to keep track. Overall, I really enjoyed the great selection of food. Favorites were the sushi and the dim sum.

All you can eat abalone?! I thought the buffet was delicious and affordable. I enjoyed the selection of seafood, from fresh crabs, cream mussels, sashimi, to abalone. I thought there was a quantify amount of options to select from, although salty, it was good. I also enjoyed that we can self serve our own beverages, it was all you can drink from cokes, to tea. The staff were attentive and our table was cleared consistently, additionally the place was spotless. The overall consensus was the food was good!

A group was allowed to bring a dog inside and sit it under one of the tables, which felt especially inappropriate in such a tiny space. Beyond the obvious cleanliness/health code concerns, it also seems like a potential issue for guests with allergies or aversions to animals. That just does not feel professional, and I hope the owners take steps to make sure something like this does not happen again in the future.

There was a place I had in mind, but the moment I saw the word " ramen" sign, my instant craving was suddenly ramen over anything else. So, listening to the stomach, I walked in. The staff came to us and fortunately, despite most of the seats were filled with customers we got a seat. I already had a menu in mind and browsed through the ramen menu to decide on the tonkotsu ramen, my family members reviewed the menu to also narrow down their choices. We ordered three items in total: ramen, a curry dish with tonkatsu and additional spice level to spicy, and a lunch bento box as option F (if I recall). For the bento it comes with the miso soup, so this arrives first over all of the dishes. Then, in short time differences, the curry arrived first, the ramen next, and then the bento set. The ramen was pretty much exactly what I wanted but catered to my tastes in a way. At most restaurants, the tonkotsu ramen is served with thin noodles. This is actually not my favorite type of ramen noodles; I prefer thicker ones. The ramen here, it was served with thick noodles, so that brought a joy to my face. The broth was mellow and not too rich. I also loved the crispy textures of the bean sprouts balanced well with the chewy noodles. The bento box had a wonderful array of fillings that pleased my relative. They ordered the one with sashimi and beef. I got a chance to try some of the beef and it was very tender and well seasoned. It went great with the rice. The tempura also arrived piping hot and the crunchy shell still crispy as they took a bite. They were pretty full near the end of the meal. My other relative enjoyed the curry too. They have a stronger spice tolerance, so they ordered it with extra spice: the spice version. Turns out this was pretty spicy. The spice was spicy in a good way; I took a bite, and the spicy kick doesn't hit me until after I swallowed it down. They told me that next time they will still add spice but a level lower than the one they ordered. I also got to try their tonkatsu; also nice and crispy! The pork was juicy and tender too. It went super well with the curry. As an ending note, my family and I were in good spirits when the staff served us hot tea instead of water, especially during the winter season. It was a a very thoughtful gesture that made the food experience pleasant.

I was super excited to check out jagalchi. There have been…read moretons of info out on socials about their opening, and my expectations were pretty high. The shopping experience collectively is rather odd. The entire store is very dimly lit and it's a strange experience. At first, it feels like an upscale food court, filled with upscale large kiosk throughout the store. They have an amazing Sushi counter, and amazing meat counter. Almost anything you could possibly think of can be found, or freshly cut to order. Just as you're walking around, there's small areas where you might find fresh noodles, or some definite, unique food finds like fresh tteokbokki. Yes I needed to buy this! They have an entire beauty section that's filled with the variety of products, many of them overpriced, but also hard to find in the average marketplace. The fresh fruit area is small, but abundant. This is definitely worth a visit, if nothing more than the experience. You will find some amazing and unique items that are usually only found abroad.
