They comped our meal because it was not good

Hmmm. Not sure what the issue is here, appears to be management. The property is a goldmine the restaurant is a comedy of failures. Soup was good, sausage dip was good, salads looked good. SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. A few shining lights but for the most part this place sucks.

Good ambiance, I luv drinking my Bloody Mary and eating with a view. The food is fresh and tasty specially the ribs and the Snapper. And to end with a cherry on top - amazing service from my fav servers Courtney and Luke. :)

Do you like my slice of cheese? It was good. It really made the burger.

Granted it's Myrtle Beach. Friday night. Bar staff overwhelmed with standing customers. A full waiting room with customers and not worth the view. Oh, they shut down outdoor services due to wind and cold. Granted, we waited outside on the deck and yup, we wasn't eating out there. But that was the point. Ocean views. 6pm arrival, left at 9 pm. Granted, it wasn't worth the menu. FYI, the cheeseburger was decent.

We visit this place yearly on our trip to Myrtle, make sure to make a reservation if you can so you don't have to wait because they can get busy! They are quick to get your order and always treat us well. The food is decent for the price, and the ambiance is pretty laid back. Not bad for an evening dinner by the ocean.

Beverly Clement and I (Willie Conway) arrived at Damon's around 4:15pm. We were able to find parking in the front row. The flowers around the front walking area were bright cheerful and beautiful. We walked towards the elevator and the breeze from the ocean was fabulous. Once upstairs we were showed to a table by the window so we could enjoy the view. We were waiting for two more friends to join us this time. I always say...if you love a restaurant bring friends and increase the business for the owner. We asked and they told me Bryan was on vacation. Good for him! Bailey came to us and took our drink requests. She returned quickly. Soon after that our friends arrived. We talked so much they forgot to look at the menu. Bailey kindly offered to return. It was my birthday and I knew I was able to get anything I wanted for free with only a few exceptions. I love how Damon's offers that for our community. It's perfect. I asked for the salad with grilled chicken. The other got steak, prime dip sandwich, and drinks all around. While we ate the laughter was nonstop. The gentleman came around and offered to take our photo. I love that too. A memory from my special day. I ordered three copies ...one for each of my friends. The food was marvelous! Everyone raved about their dish. Following the meal I handed Bailey my ID for proof of birthday today. We noticed 5he lobby filling up and we had a long relaxing meal. I was ready to go. My meal was for free I only had to pay for my drink. Overall it was a fabulous birthday event for me. Thank you Damon's. Willie Conway.

Just another fantastic find while touring our 7000 mile trek to see what we've never yet seen in the good ol' USA. We stopped in from next door at the Holiday Inn. Saw this place and decided to walk a very flat and not too far walk but were a little thrown off at the entrance. Then we realized that everything is on stilts and made our way to the elevator. Once upstairs we were greeted and seated quickly for some drinks and some grub. Nice place. Very oceanic themed place. Nice bar and I assume a great view during the day. We couldn't see sh** at night. Drinks were cold and decently prepared. If I remember (on a 7000 mile trip), we shared a very good prime rib dinner. So says the wife, but I couldn't find it on the menu. I remember we were happy after our visit because Justin was on top of the game and made our visit perfect. Another cocktail and we were back on a crooked course back to the resort next door. A pretty bitchen place. CritDicks

Good food but the prices are a little high. Also the stairs are a bit much for those with mobility issues.

We went for dinner and the food was terrible. Ribs came out ice cold and my chicken was rubber and I could barely cut through it.

They were gone in about two minutes between the 3 of us, not because of the quantity, but because they were so good. They were not overly spicy in case that's a worry. They have a full gluten free menu. The kids menu also includes seafood which I appreciate for my seafood loving crew. I ordered the Fry Basket with Shrimp and Oysters. My mom ordered the same but also had flounder with it. My son ordered a Caesar salad with a side of fried flounder. Everyone was very impressed with the amount and quality of the food. I honestly didn't take great pictures because we were too busy eating! It was a very busy day the day we were there bc of the Kentucky derby party but we were still seated quickly and our food came out fairly quickly. They take a lot of precautions when dealing with allergies and it was appreciated. They even identify that it is gluten free when they deliver the food as well. I can't wait to return and try the short rib macaroni and cheese. The ambiance is booths and tables around a bar. They also have a great outdoor space due kids to run around and play.

When visiting for a family beach trip, we decided to try this beloved seafood buffet. Along the strip in Myrtle Beach, the roads are lined with a plethora of Seafood Buffets ranging from small family owned to large attraction-like restaurants. Without having tried any of the other options, I would say this has to be the best in town. The atmosphere, staff, variety of food offerings, and taste were unmatched. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a unique buffet experience. The exterior of this restaurant is massive and felt like a large Shopping Center with beautiful landscaping, water features, beautiful windows, and colorful siding. Upon arrival, we were asked at the door our party size. They had two entry lines based on table sizes. Since our party was four, we were sent to the shorter line and did not even have to wait to be seated. As we were walked to our table, we passed massive sailing ships complete with rows of hot and cold foods. The ceiling was reminiscent of the ocean skies. The entire restaurant felt like an experience already. I was amazed by the theming, cleanliness, and attention to details. For adults, the buffet is right around $50/person + drinks and tax. The buffet is all-you-can-eat with mutiple serving lines placed around the vast dining hall. As a picky eater, I was honestly a little worried that the offerings would primarily be seafood options; however, I was happily surprised that the buffet line had a LARGE selection ranging from Chicken Tenders and Fries to Pulled Pork and Macaroni and Cheese. I was actually very excited to find so many of my favorite foods and be able to eat just a little of them all! Some other offerings I added to my plate include hush puppies, corn on the cob, fried fish sticks, rolls, and cheddar biscuits all in one trip. My brother is more adventurous in his selection and was able to try different fish and crab legs with multiple trips. They had almost two whole buffet areas filled with seafood dishes that I didn't even visit. His favorite was just the shrimp! They also have a whole dessert room with a wide range of sweet dishes. To be honest, some of the food was mediocre or tasted similar to standard buffet-food-quality. The macaroni was a little bland. The fries were a little soggy. However, the restaurant was so busy that food was being rotated and changed out quickly on the buffet line. Overall, the entire experience was fun and unique. The restaurant was very expensive for a family of four, especially when you're not eating over the top or making multiple trips; however, the nautical theming, food selections, and service set this buffet apart from many others. You'll find something to eat whether you're picky or love the most adventurous of seafood dishes.
