Russell's was a great find! My friends are new to the area and picked a gem for dinner. Kids and adults had a wonderful time! It was great service ; friendly and attentive for the kids. Their food was fresh and amazing. A staple we will visit when in the area for sure. The venue has a great choice of indoor and outdoor seating. Nice lighting and ambiance was inviting.

This was our first time eating at Russell's. Our waitress was very kind and informative about the menu items. She suggested their special which was the wahoo so my husband ordered it blackened with the roasted corn and peppers and onions and fried mashed potato cheese balls. I ordered the Creek shrimp basket with shoestring fries and coleslaw. The shrimp was very tasty and it reminded me of the seafood hut in calabash. You actually tasted shrimp and not just breading. We were able to sit outside and enjoy a pleasant evening with a view of the Inlet across the street. I appreciated that the restaurant had the battery operated devices that keep the flies off your food at each table. I also had a treehouse punch drink, which was amazing and it hit the spot. I sampled my husband's wahoo, and it might be the best fish I've ever had. He agreed. He did not even need his tartar or cocktail sauce to doctor it up. We had a very pleasant experience, well worth the money and we will be back!

Great shrimp, grilled and also peel and eat. Appetizer was bang bang shrimp, outstanding not to hot to eat, the grill shrimp was perfectly cooked and seasoned, about 16-18 medium size shrimp. The server Tiffany, was amazing, great personality, and did her job with enthusiasm and delight, definitely will return

6.10.25 Other than the complimentary hush puppies and crab legs, I was less than impressed with the other items that I tried. The hush puppies were on the sweeter side and came with butter. The kids absolutely loved them. I also tried my sister-in-law's crab legs and it was solid and tasted good with butter. I ordered the fish & chips as it is a popular item on the menu, but thought it was just average. I also tried my husband's hamburger steak and great nephew's deviled crab, both of which were just ok. My mother-in-law initially ordered the shrimp and grits, but had to send it back because it was too salty. She replaced it with the hamburger steak and said they overcooked it. She is a picky eater though. She also got a cup of she crab soup and fortunately said it was good, but had a lot of potatoes in it. My brother-in-law got the soup as well, but said it was bland. We had a party of 15 and although I thought the service was slow, others in my party said it wasn't given the size. I guess it's just because I'm an impatient person and want service as quickly as possible. I don't think any of of us were really that impressed that we would return.

Food is good! I had an oyster po'boy with those cheese potato balls. Only got 2 & wish I had just ordered a whole side, they we really good..fresh made not frozen. Slaw & hush puppies were a little sweet for my taste but not inedible. Hubs had the red drum special stuffed with crab & had a tasty sauce (maybe lobster?). That was good also. I can't remember our server's name, short blond hair & usually works evenings but was on our lunch shift. She was fabulous. Local gal who can tell you all about how the building ended up where it is now from Hurricane Hugo. I love the decor here! Took some photos for ideas for my own fishing shack

We got here for an early dinner and were surprised by the line! Little did we know, reservations were needed. No worries, we only had a 20 wait. The food was absolutely scrumptious. It was served hot, it was well seasoned, and it came quickly. The deck featured heaters to knock the chill off, which created perfect outside dinner venue! Go now!!

    The whole sea platter. Fried.

Reservations are not accepted, but you can add your name to the waitlist and receive a text when your table is ready. The restaurant has both an elevator and stairs for access. The second floor features a gift shop, the third floor offers air-conditioned dining, and the fourth floor is home to a rooftop bar. The food was excellent. I highly recommend the blackened mahi mahi platter. It came with asparagus (the smallest I've ever seen), and I substituted the grits for the Quay slaw, which was light, crisp, and refreshing. I also sampled my husband's she-crab soup and flounder bites, both of which were delicious. For dessert, I ordered the chocolate mousse cake. It was softer than versions I've had elsewhere, but rich in flavor without being overly decadent. Ripley was our server and did a fantastic job taking care of our party of 11. She kept our drinks refilled, checked on us regularly, and promptly cleared plates as we finished. The restaurant offers beautiful views overlooking Marlin Quay Marina, the Main Creek of Murrells Inlet, the surrounding saltwater marshes, and the Atlantic Ocean. We also spent some time on the rooftop, where a pleasant breeze and live music made for a relaxing atmosphere. It's easy to see why this establishment was named a 2025 Best of the Beach winner. Between the scenic views, welcoming ambiance, excellent food, and attentive service, it's well worth a visit. Highly recommended.

We went around 5:30 on a Sunday, got seated right away and were walking out by 6:30. That's rare for a good restaurant with a good view in summer. Worst service ever. Stay far away from this place…read more I arrived with a reservation, but when I walked up to the host stand to check in, the manager pushed in front of me and started arguing with the hostess about seating another family. Only after they finished was I finally able to check in. When I gave them my name, I was met with nothing but attitude. I asked if I could be seated outside, but the hostess ignored my request and seated me inside instead. I also asked for the parking validation code and was told that my waiter would provide it. When the waiter finally came to the table, he didn't introduce himself and seemed very rushed. When I asked for the parking code, he gave it to me without saying much else. I ordered the fish of the day sandwich, which was a huge disappointment. The piece of fish was so small it didn't even cover the entire roll, and it had no flavor at all. Charging $19 for that sandwich was a complete waste of money. When the waiter asked if I wanted dessert, I replied that I don't eat desserts. His response was, "Well, I have to ask," and then he simply walked away. After bringing the check, there was no "thank you for coming" or "hope to see you again." The entire staff acted like they were unhappy to be there, and it showed in every interaction. I will never be back, and I can't recommend this place to anyone.

Just for something different i chose the house salad with ranch dressing and honestly it was the best i've had in a restaurant, it was fresh and really good. No pics-the food was too good to wait!…read more Our service was excellent. She was prompt, attentive, and gave extra attention to details like bringing a plastic plate instead of a ceramic one when I asked for an empty plate for our toddler. We had a large party and that didn't diminish the quality of our service. The food was fantastic. The crab cakes say "no filler" on the menu and they mean it. That was exactly how a crab cake should be made and the texture was perfect. Our party had every iteration of oysters you can get and they were all great. They were accommodating for a member of our party with celiac and her food was exactly what she was promised. Other points of note: Bar service was quick and friendly. The hostesses promptly accommodated our party of 10. The straps on the high chair actually worked (if you're a parent then you know what I mean). And my favorite of all: there was no tv to be seen from our table so we were all able to chit chat without distraction from glowing tv screens. This was our first trip, both to Graham's Landing and Pawley's Island. We typically vacation on Georgia beaches but we will 100% be coming back to this beach and more importantly Graham's Landing.
