Great shrimp, grilled and also peel and eat. Appetizer was bang bang shrimp, outstanding not to hot to eat, the grill shrimp was perfectly cooked and seasoned, about 16-18 medium size shrimp. The server Tiffany, was amazing, great personality, and did her job with enthusiasm and delight, definitely will return

6.10.25 Other than the complimentary hush puppies and crab legs, I was less than impressed with the other items that I tried. The hush puppies were on the sweeter side and came with butter. The kids absolutely loved them. I also tried my sister-in-law's crab legs and it was solid and tasted good with butter. I ordered the fish & chips as it is a popular item on the menu, but thought it was just average. I also tried my husband's hamburger steak and great nephew's deviled crab, both of which were just ok. My mother-in-law initially ordered the shrimp and grits, but had to send it back because it was too salty. She replaced it with the hamburger steak and said they overcooked it. She is a picky eater though. She also got a cup of she crab soup and fortunately said it was good, but had a lot of potatoes in it. My brother-in-law got the soup as well, but said it was bland. We had a party of 15 and although I thought the service was slow, others in my party said it wasn't given the size. I guess it's just because I'm an impatient person and want service as quickly as possible. I don't think any of of us were really that impressed that we would return.

Food is good! I had an oyster po'boy with those cheese potato balls. Only got 2 & wish I had just ordered a whole side, they we really good..fresh made not frozen. Slaw & hush puppies were a little sweet for my taste but not inedible. Hubs had the red drum special stuffed with crab & had a tasty sauce (maybe lobster?). That was good also. I can't remember our server's name, short blond hair & usually works evenings but was on our lunch shift. She was fabulous. Local gal who can tell you all about how the building ended up where it is now from Hurricane Hugo. I love the decor here! Took some photos for ideas for my own fishing shack

We got here for an early dinner and were surprised by the line! Little did we know, reservations were needed. No worries, we only had a 20 wait. The food was absolutely scrumptious. It was served hot, it was well seasoned, and it came quickly. The deck featured heaters to knock the chill off, which created perfect outside dinner venue! Go now!!

The whole sea platter. Fried.

The wife and I went before going to the marsh walk. It was terrific!!! Got two of the "whole sea" platters and got them old school fried. The food came out less than ten minutes after ordering and was fresh and not greasy at all. Service was terrific, dining room had a sea shack vibe to it like you were in someone's beach get away.

Dinner hour on a Tuesday!

They had a few different bars that you could order at, with the main one being inside, another little hut outside, and a cash bar next to that. They also had a pretty cool live band, with a viewing patio right in front of the stage. In regards to my visit to Hot Fish, I'd say I was most impressed with the bartenders at the establishment, who did a great job under pressure. Even though the place was packed, and especially the bar area, they did a great job of remaining calm, and even got our drinks out in a relatively quick period of time. They also made some awesome blue Gatorade shots, which were some of the best shots I've ever had! I didn't necessarily love that there were cops standing guard at the entrance, but the bar's own security staff and bouncers were really nice, which isn't something you see at every one of these places. The only downsides to the Hot Fish Club were that many of the plastic chairs in the outside area were broken and cracked, making it kind of hard to sit a large-sized group like ours (they had a lot of wooden tables, but they were all taken), and that the restroom situation was awful. According to the girls in our group, the actual, physical restrooms were disgusting, forcing them to use the giant line of porta potties. This isn't a huge deal for guys, but it was a little uncomfortable for the ladies. Other than that, Hot Fish was great, and I'd highly recommend stopping by!

Our first and second visit consisted mostly of the same things: Oysters and Calamari to start, Seafood Mac & Cheese and Fish & Chips. I had the lettuce wraps, which are big, so share. And I had Crab Cakes. The wraps were good but they needed a better aioli in my opinion, because it became a sort of watery dressing instead of something sturdier. And the pico de gallo was not actually that. It was diced tomato, onion and had zero taste of lime, salt or spicy. It was fine but could have been killer. My hubby had the Clam Chowder, Pan Seared Grouper and the shrimp Po Boy. He loved the grouper, risotto and the chowder. The fish was flaky and seasoned well. The po boy needed more sauce but was really delicious. My daughter (16) needed a seafood break since she had the fish and chips the first visit and went with the Claw House Burger. She said it was seasoned and that it was indeed 1/4 lb. And Fish & Chips was the best she had had (which, she's had an incredible amount for her young age) -- not too much breading, nice crisp on the outside and juicy fish. The fries both nights were a little chewy but the flavor was there. And how can I forget. Even though on the second night we saw at least five tables start with the Crab Nachos we added a third item, Fried Clam Strips. Those were ridiculously good. I'm not a fan of tartar sauce so I ate it without and it was perfect on its own. Everything was fresh, they paid attention to detail in most individual elements and the location sent it over the top. Definitely worth a visit.

A table of 4 sat a few minutes before we did and a table of 6 sat probably 10 minutes after them. Our table and the table of 6 were served before the group of 4 who had to ask a bus boy for service. Yikes! Server was sweet besides the empty non alcoholic beverage glasses she did not fill when our food came out. She didn't come back to check in on us until my husband's 6 bites of dinner were already gone. I asked if the portion is usually that small (especially in comparison to the significantly cheaper - MASSIVE PORTIONS we saw being served all around us) and she politely said "yes. typically, sometimes a little bigger." As someone with a culinary arts degree & kitchen background I was very very very disappointed on the portion size of his entree for the price & sizes of surrounding entrees being served (that were cheaper or around the same price) and it literally ruined my entire experience. A smidge dramatic but the God's honest truth! Great view, beautiful patio, friendly service - just extremely disappointed. I planned to order both of us dessert and immediately skipped out & asked for the check when the server finally came over to ask how our food was. This review is hot & cold because my experience was. Would I recommend it? I'd recommend going for the best oysters in Myrtle and a clean, friendly facility - but that's about all I can say! PS - $3 "destination fee?" Clearly I'm not from around here, but it was the only restaurant from north Myrtle down to Murrells to charge us a fee for eating there as a tourist.

Reservations are not accepted, but you can add your name to the waitlist and receive a text when your table is ready. The restaurant has both an elevator and stairs for access. The second floor features a gift shop, the third floor offers air-conditioned dining, and the fourth floor is home to a rooftop bar. The food was excellent. I highly recommend the blackened mahi mahi platter. It came with asparagus (the smallest I've ever seen), and I substituted the grits for the Quay slaw, which was light, crisp, and refreshing. I also sampled my husband's she-crab soup and flounder bites, both of which were delicious. For dessert, I ordered the chocolate mousse cake. It was softer than versions I've had elsewhere, but rich in flavor without being overly decadent. Ripley was our server and did a fantastic job taking care of our party of 11. She kept our drinks refilled, checked on us regularly, and promptly cleared plates as we finished. The restaurant offers beautiful views overlooking Marlin Quay Marina, the Main Creek of Murrells Inlet, the surrounding saltwater marshes, and the Atlantic Ocean. We also spent some time on the rooftop, where a pleasant breeze and live music made for a relaxing atmosphere. It's easy to see why this establishment was named a 2025 Best of the Beach winner. Between the scenic views, welcoming ambiance, excellent food, and attentive service, it's well worth a visit. Highly recommended.

Let's try the good first. We arrived and we're seated immediately, but was also arrived just before 5pm, and it was already packed. Not surprised as it is the peak of the summer season. Our server was pleasant and attentive, and in my opinion, that was pretty much the extent of the " good". The "OK". - the food was just that, ok. The cobia had no real seasoning on it, if it weren't for the butter sauce, it would have had zero flavor. The fries are obviously from frozen and cooked until very crispy, almost hard. The mac and cheese sampled from my wife's plate also tasted like a mass produced, frozen deal. She said the scallops were good, and the shrimp I sampled were decent. My son enjoyed his fish and fries, but he's 6. The "bad"...since I'm using those words. It's loud, and got louder around 5:45. No surprise though, it's called a saloon and the reviews clearly say it's loud. Be prepared. Parking. I guess if you can find a spot on site, you're good, but the pay lots across the street are $20 for 2 hours...the least you can get. And again, something I failed to read, researcher whatever, but the pictures of all the 4 legged friends that have crossed the rainbow bridge that adorn the walls, it was, to me, a bit of a buzz kill. I quite frankly never realized it's concept was to honor actual dead dogs. My bad. We've been, and I honestly don't expect well go back, at least not for a while. I'll give it another shot, but in an area like this, there are always new places to try, ones that have been open for 30 years, and ones that have been open for 30 days. It's important to make a good first impression to generate return business.

I asked if I could be seated outside, but the hostess ignored my request and seated me inside instead. I also asked for the parking validation code and was told that my waiter would provide it. When the waiter finally came to the table, he didn't introduce himself and seemed very rushed. When I asked for the parking code, he gave it to me without saying much else. I ordered the fish of the day sandwich, which was a huge disappointment. The piece of fish was so small it didn't even cover the entire roll, and it had no flavor at all. Charging $19 for that sandwich was a complete waste of money. When the waiter asked if I wanted dessert, I replied that I don't eat desserts. His response was, "Well, I have to ask," and then he simply walked away. After bringing the check, there was no "thank you for coming" or "hope to see you again." We had a large party and that didn't diminish the quality of our service. The food was fantastic. The crab cakes say "no filler" on the menu and they mean it. That was exactly how a crab cake should be made and the texture was perfect. Our party had every iteration of oysters you can get and they were all great. They were accommodating for a member of our party with celiac and her food was exactly what she was promised. Other points of note: Bar service was quick and friendly. The hostesses promptly accommodated our party of 10. The straps on the high chair actually worked (if you're a parent then you know what I mean). And my favorite of all: there was no tv to be seen from our table so we were all able to chit chat without distraction from glowing tv screens. This was our first trip, both to Graham's Landing and Pawley's Island. We typically vacation on Georgia beaches but we will 100% be coming back to this beach and more importantly Graham's Landing.
