Wow, wow, wow is all I can say! Its a very long story concerning my ac system but it involves one after another unscrupulous ac co's. To make a long story short I was told by a very reputable ac co that I needed a new compressor, that will be $3000, he then lowered it to $1k after I told him the unit whould be warrenteed by Goodman, ok, then that will be $1000! Well, its a new unit and I really felt I needed a back up opinion. I'd known Dan through friends and had his number, I thought why not see if he can give a second opinion, the house was getting quite cold and xmas coming up soon. Well, Dan showed up the exact day and time that he said he would, Dan had my unit running in 23 minutes and even had the simple part I needed with him. Dan is impeccable with his word, an expert in his field and a man of honor, he only charged me a service call! I could not recommend anyone higher or with more enthuseasm. Dan is the most honest and skilled ac man I've had the pleasure of inviting to my property in the twenty years I have owned this historic bungalow in La Quinta. Although Dan is a "one man" operation this does not mean he lacks knowledge, professionalism and experience in HVAC installation, troubleshooting and maintenance. He is prompt, courteous and thorough in his work. Dan installed a new AC unit for me back in May and did so on a Friday evening as I needed it for the weekend. Dan just did some maintenance on a second unit just in time for my out of town guest who are arriving today. I called him this morning (very late notice) and Dan was happy to oblige. Called dan on a somewhat late evening Sunday, he showed up within the hour, fixed the issue and left in less than an hour. Must have a/c in the desert with 120 degree weather!! Our A/C went out on a sweltering afternoon. Called Dan and he was at our place that evening (had another job to finish up). Working in the dark, he quickly diagnosed the issue and took the time to explain to me exactly what happened (electrical wire touched a hot metal pipe, arced, which burned a hole in the pipe which then released all the Freon). He was able to fix the issue and we were back in business shortly thereafter. Not only that, he cleaned our equipment and installed a new air filter. Highly recommended. read more

Dan and Julie are absolute lifesavers! After multiple horrible experiences with American home shield and Anthem mechanical I finally reached out to my realtor who connected me with Dan. I explained the situation I was in and he immediately came to do a diagnosis. Long story short, after 4 visits in less than 6 weeks, anthem was trying to charge me $3,000 to fix a compressor and recharge Freon. Spoiler alert! The compressor was fine and the only issue was a Freon leak in the reversing valve. Dan found the issue and corrected it very quickly. We were able to get back in our house after many nights in a hotel and endless frustration over having to deal with AHS and anthem mechanical. Can not say enough good things about Dan and Julie! Highly highly recommend to anyone looking for honest and knowledgeable HVAC service! My only regret is that I didn't find them sooner. read more

If I could give Dan 10 stars I would! Our AC went out on a Sunday when it was started to get real hot outside. I scheduled a home warranty check up but the earliest we were going to get a call back to schedule a check Up would be the following day. I didn't want to spend another hour in my home with the ac out so we ended up called Dan who was at our doorstep within an hour.
