They helped identify which keratin smoothing treatment would be safe for me, which I really appreciated. Ultimately, I have stopped getting services here because over the last 5 years the cost of their services keep rising while the quality of services have drastically declined. Especially when it pertains to a haircut. They have very limited stylist that can give you a haircut for under $100. I have gotten my haircut a few times now from a new provider- not only was she reasonably priced but I absolutely loved the way she cut my hair. It has made me realize how much money I have wasted at Mario over the years getting services I did not like. With all of that being said, The colorist at this location are amazing. I was so flattered! Rosemarie is usually booked up so I know I have to call in advanced to get an appointment. She is worth the wait, though! When I was out of the country, I had to go to another hairstylist because I couldn't hold out any longer (I waited 4 months!!) and it was a mess. I went back to her as soon as I got back to have the disaster fixed. Her prices are amazing!! AMAZING! Men's haircut is $20, Woman's haircut is around $40 and color varies depending on the hair length. For the haircut, she shampoos, cuts, blow dries, and then texturizes. She's an expert colorist and I've seen some of her clients that came from other salons to have their color fixed because it was a mess. So I would go back for just a braided style as well. The downtown location is convenient. The decor is kind of a funky style. Their was usually only 1 or 2 other stylists their when I went. The online booking system works but it not very easy to figure out. It also let me book outside of their normal hours so when I went to one of my appointments I thought they were closed. It turns out the stylist was there but hadn't turned on the open sign. Since the hours were before opening I thought it was a system glitch and left. But Saints & Scissors is the perfect place for people in the alternative emo scene community to go to for hair cuts, dye jobs. They're great!
