I moved to the Northwest suburbs in 2012 and found Mahogany Divas (former salon name) in 2013. I was extremely satisfied with the service and I've been seeing Teresa Coleman (my stylist) ever since. TERESA LOVE YA GIRL!!! On a busy day, the atmosphere is relaxed. Clients seem to know each other and we all talk. I've observed that each stylist is professional. Ive been to a few salons where the stylists had certification but were loud and obnoxious... lacking in professionalism. Not these folks. They are patient and really listen to the client. You can tell that the clients who come been coming for years... a good sign. They will cater to you and make sure that your experience is great. Love this place! It took me a while to find somewhere that can cut my boys hair properly. My boys have been cutting their hair with Mr. DeAngelo for almost a year now. He is professional and great with my boys! My youngest is autistic and getting a hair cut can be challenging for him. Most barbers are not understanding or have the patience to cut his hair. Mr. DeAngelo took his time with my son and helped him feel comfortable. He even worked with me to schedule us during low volume hours, to help with sensory overload. Teresa is the best beautician I've had style my natural hair. She takes her time and is very knowledgeable. When she clipped my hair she didn't butcher it as most stylist do. My hair was silky for weeks. She also installed a sew in, curled my hair, and did my make up for my wedding in March 2017. She did an amazing job on not just me but my bridesmaids as well. Luxe is an upscale salon and barber. Mr. DeAngelo (my barber) is a phenomenal barber! He is always punctual, professional and haircuts are exactly what you ask for every time. I drive 45 minutes every other week to get a clean cut and shave along with good conversation, well worth it if you are looking for a barber. read more

I went to this new upscale Salon today to get a weave. Tamara and her staff were very professional. The Salon has a few stylists, barbers and a braider. They also serve, coffee, tea and water to their clients. The Salon was very clean and spacious. I will be going back again and again! read more
