I am a spoiled ex-model who traveled the world first class/private. I have the highest expectations which leads me to be a dick sometimes. I am new to being out as nonbinary/trans. It has been a scary process. We all have different experiences, and they are all valid. I am very picky and expected the worse. Dana Elise is beyond professional. Some people have jobs; Dana has a calling. God in action is when one lives their authentic life, and their energy/spirit transcends to help the lives of others. Stefani D., Jamie P., Kitty K. maybe it was a different time 1-2 yrs ago, but I implore you to reevaluate Dana and her company. I am a P#SSY. I am afraid of pain and needles. I detest poor service and communication. Unequivocally, Dana Elise is FAR and ABOVE others in her field. She personally texts even after hours to make sure you are prepared and answers any and all questions. She is completely transparent and honest. I have severe anxiety and PTSD and am averse to any pain. Dana and her team adapted to my circumstances to create an experience that exceeded my expectations. Of course, there will be mistakes, miscommunication or bad days. We are all human. I have recently been abused/neglected by my prior medical office. I was petrified of having electrolysis on my face. They made my well-being and comfort a priority and still exceeded expectations. Paula should be a surgeon. Her Precision is extraordinary. Courtney's love emanates and enhances the experience. I cannot speak for everyone, but integrity, loyalty and trust are massive traits for me. Dana provided a safe beautiful space to help me on a journey I was about to end before it began. Dana is God's work in action. I regret not meeting her and her team sooner. Words are lovely. But I pay attention to actions. Dana sells a cream that is essential for recovery called Cicalfate for $30. Amazon (warehouse giant) sells it for $28. Virtually the same price. NAME ONE BUSINESSPERSON who values their patients' well-being over price gouging vulnerable populations like the trans/nonbinary community. I was/am thoroughly impressed by her level of service and awestruck by her humanity and empathy. I want to go every day to make up for all the mistakes and wasted time from my last neglectful doctor's office. Since meeting Dana and her team, my suicidal plans have taken a pause. And there is some potential hope on the horizon. Thank you, Dana. I am a baby trans (new to all this). I have found getting help/answers impossible. I truly have only the best things to say about Dana and all of her electrologists. Before going to Dana, I was going to a different electrologist in Downey (I won't say her name here out of respect) which was a very negative experience. The owner of the electrolysis center was passive aggressive, dismissive and brash. She did not have any bedside manner whatsoever or any sense of boundaries. For transgender women in particular, electrolysis is quite a vulnerable and often dysphoric experience. Generosity, kindness, patience, mindfulness and respect make a HUGE difference. Dana displays all of these qualities - you can hear it in her voice and see it in her smile. Speaking on the phone with Dana for the first time was like a breath of fresh air. She is extremely professional and confident. In my case, I had been given a lot of misinformation about the electrolysis process in general that Dana not only shut down, but replaced with peace. She helped me look at this as a journey and not a catastrophe. She simply makes you feel safe to be there, and the same goes for all of her electrologists. There are so many people working here that you're bound to see more than one person, and they really do become like a support team. I typically go to Courtney, Paula, and Melinda (love you girlies!!!). The comfort factor here is also unparalleled. The place feels ridiculously clean, there are TV's with Netflix in every room (which come in handy during 4 hour sessions), and they always offer water & snacks. Scheduling is painless since there are so many people working, and they allow you to book up to three appointments at a time which is super helpful in terms of securing consistency in your treatment. They offer numbing cream for purchase at an affordable price, and it is stronger than anything I've been able to find anywhere else. I honestly look forward to my sessions every week. Beauty is pain, but that pain is significantly alleviated in the hands of these highly qualified and skilled electrologists. read more

I am over the moon since discovering Dana Elise Solutions has a SINGERS FACIAL! At this point in the winter every singer I know has overly tight vocal chords and irritated sinuses caused by the weather and the drying effect of of heaters. I've been finishing up a new CD and encountered numerous difficulties in the studio with a tense, tight voice. Dana used gentle steam with menthol throughout the facial - traditionally only used for a few minutes at the start - to open up my sinuses and throat, warm towels on on my throat, plus a relaxing neck massage that eased the tightness. well, let me start off by saying I get my electrolysis done here and I must say, it's the most calm quiet place I have ever been to to get my electrolysis done at. The medical staff here is so sweet, so respectful, so helpful and they care a lot about me as a patient. They're very mindful of your privacy. It's not like you're getting services here and there's a lot of people walking around while you're receiving electrolysis on your private areas of your persons, that makes a difference for me. Its also the ability to say I've had enough for one day can we stop, and the availability of staff they have that if one doesn't suffice you have others to choose from. The Staff here are ok with that and they don't take it personal. So I would definitely try this place out. I've never had an issue here and the results I'm getting from my hair removal treatment here are miraculous. This place treats me like I'm family, they are professional and sweet. read more

Love the new location! It's beautiful and welcoming and the Zen chair is an experience in itself! I was so relaxed I joked I needed someone to drive me home. I went to Dana for electrolysis on my chin hairs caused by PCOS. I also struggled with severe hormonal acne in that area. After the first few treatments I saw a huge improvement in my acne (which was partially caused by ingrown hairs) and much fewer hairs in the area.
