On a random Sunday I decided to visit Liljenquist & Beckstead in Westfield Montgomery Mall with real hope. My mom has been buying jewelry from them for years and recommended the store to me back in 2020, so I knew the service would be excellent. I left impressed by the team and even more motivated to keep working toward my dream watch. I've been grinding for over 12 years. My partners and I recently launched our own business, and it has exceeded every expectation. This was near my work so I decided to give it a shot and I wish I had never gone there. 1. It took my THREE times to even drop it off. Every time I went (during business hours) I was told the repair man was not there so they weren't sure if they could accept it or not. I would be told a specific time to come back (say, "He'll definitely be here on Wednesday afternoon") and every time it was the same deal. 2. Finally, the repair man was there and looked at this small simple clock and said they could simply order a new part and replace it. I was told it would be ready in a week and I'd get phone call. 3. More than a week goes by and I don't hear anything. So I call the store, and am told they haven't been able to fix it yet. Check back in a week. 4. I check back in a week and am told they've had to special order a part -- and they will call me and let me know when it's ready. 5. Fast forward many weeks, still i have heard NOTHING. I finally call them again and am told "oh, we couldn't find the part, we can't fix it." So what happened last time when you told me you had ordered the part? It's now been MONTHS and I could have gotten this taken care of much faster somewhere else. Terrible communication and customer service. Unable to repair a small clock. Don't waste your time.
