This is a great spot to grab a bite and have a drink. We came during happy hour and took advantage of the $7 specials. Everything was delicious!

We arrived at Dancing Marlin around 3:15pm on a Friday, just as the early dinner crowd was beginning to arrive and happy hour (3pm-6pm, Monday through Friday) was getting underway. The interior is very inviting, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It's a versatile space that works well for a romantic dinner, a casual date night, or even an evening out with family. We were promptly greeted by the hostess and seated at a table near the front window. Our server, Naomi, welcomed us right away and immediately made us feel comfortable with her friendly and engaging personality. She brought water to the table, took our drink orders, and returned quickly with our beverages before checking if we were ready to order. After answering a few questions, we decided on the fresh oysters, four-cheese flatbread, and pork belly tacos. The oysters were served first, and Naomi took the time to explain their region and variety, which added a nice touch to the experience. They were fresh, clean, and nicely briny. The four-cheese flatbread was rich and flavorful, made with fresh ingredients that really stood out. We also enjoyed the house-cured pork belly tacos--the meat was tender and well-prepared. I requested the toppings on the side, which was accommodated without issue. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. The service, atmosphere, and food all came together nicely, and we'll definitely be returning again soon.

This is becoming my favorite restaurant for gluten free food. They have a great variety and the staff are so nice. Definitely a place to go for all occasions!

Me and my family had a great time here! The food was good and came out fast! My lobster gnocchi was perfect and had the perfect texture along with the lobster bisque that was the perfect flavor. The inside of the restaurant was lively and the music was my type. Our waiter was nice and brought things out with pace, not wasting a single minute! The bone marrow my dad got was surprisingly good and it was my first time trying it and I tried it at the perfect place. Definitely coming here again!

This is the 3rd time I have been to the Dancing Marlins. The food was delicious and fresh. The service was outstanding. We were at the bar first and ordered the Mango Tango till our table was ready. When we got to the table our waiter Justin was awesome. He was very attentive and didn't hover which we appreciated. I will most definitely be back as soon as it warms up I wanna sit on the patio!

First time here, love the way it looks cozy. The server Zoe did a great job making sure she was there for us and explaining the whole menu and the specials for the day We ordered so many different things, they were all good, see pics

Gnocchi - probably the best thing we had. The sausage in this dish was really good.

I brought my family to the Dancing Marlin for a pre-Thanksgiving dinner and the sole reason for picking this place was that one of my daughters is on a pretty restrictive diet, and The Dancing Marlin had a flexible menu that featured made from scratch dishes that were also made to order. As such, we were able to modify some dishes to make them allowable for my daughter to eat. The interior space itself is pretty casual, and has a "seafood market" vibe even though the menu features plenty of dishes suited for land-lovers. Our server Stephanie was excellent. One of the better servers I've had recently, and this level of service really goes a long way in elevating the whole dining experience. She was helpful with the menu when it came to my daughter's diet, and if the food itself had been on par with the service, this place would definitely warrant a return visit. Sadly, it just fell short of expectations when it came to the taste and price-point on the food. They advertise that the dishes are designed to be shared, and they are, but unfortunately none of the ones we sampled really blew us away. Not that any of it was bad, it was just pretty average overall.

Been coming here since they open several years ago. Even if you are not a seafood lover, there is something for everyone. Have had larger parties in their downstairs area, birthdays, wonderful brunch, business lunch, and evening dinners. Great tasty food and quality in each time I visited. Friendly staff and service. Be sure to sign up for their frequent diners rewards program and get points for discounts! For private events they have the downstairs area and handy for elevator for those with trouble for stairs. They have a little area by the front where a smaller party could take place. Reasonable rates and great service.

I really love this place! Our host was warm and welcoming. The decor, the plants, the beautiful patio, and fun lights really set an amazing ambience. The food is also delicious! We ordered crabcakes, mac & cheese with bacon, and mini peanut burgers. The drinks were superb! "Love the Lavender"was my favorite. Our server was super fun! Andrew was playful, enthusiastic, and made great menu suggestions. He added so much to our experience. This place is perfect for friends or date night. I can't wait to visit again!

The atmosphere is dimly lit (which I love), clean, lots of wood and leather everywhere. It's spacious but also cozy. On to the food.. my favorites have been the butterfish and the trout. This last time I got a pesto gnocchi with shrimp. The shrimp was really good right off the grill as were the gnocchi but it was kind of swimming in an oily sauce. I expected it to either be creamy or lightly coated pasta, instead of a pool of pesto and oil. The sauce didn't really stay on to the gnocchi because it was so thin. I used my extra pita bread to sop it up. The artichoke with hummus appetizer is also tasty. My friend got the lamb shank (chops?) and she also enjoyed her meal. The espresso martini was good but it had like a chunky shaved chocolate or something on the rim which was unnecessary and made it kind of hard to drink. We haven't tried any desserts yet but they look amazing. It was about $150 for 2 cocktails, 2 glasses of wine, 2 entrees, and 1 appetizer. I couldn't afford this regularly but it's a nice treat every now and then.

If you're a seafood lover, this is the place to dive into. Jumbo Shrimp -- A Must-Try! The star of the show was definitely the jumbo shrimp -- plump, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. Each bite delivered a sweet, briny flavor. Whether dipped in cocktail sauce, buffalo sauce or plain, these shrimp were easily the best I've had in a long time. When they say jumbo, they mean jumbo! I don't think I've ever had larger shrimp. We also ordered lake perch, and brought it home for dinner. We heated it in the air fryer and it was just as good as the shrimp! Both were coated in a light breading, that did not take away from the fish, and fried to a golden brown. They have so many varieties of fish, that we will certainly be back again to try more. Final Thoughts If you're craving top-tier jumbo shrimp and seafood with fresh flavors, Frank's does not disappoint. Highly recommended for seafood lovers and anyone looking to treat themselves to something delicious from the sea! They also serve chicken, and have many sandwich selections, that I can only imagine are just as good! Also should add that the owners are so friendly and nice! They added an enclosed outdoor seating area, Thats lets you enjoy the breeze or sun, but protects you from the rain. It used to be a tent, so this is definitely nicer. My wife and I were seated immediately. The server quickly brought us water and garlic bread. I really like that they give you 5 fairly big pieces of garlic bread for only two people. Nice touch. We were not in a hurry and couldn't decide what we wanted so we started with the calamari salad. $29, but it's huge and chock full of those calamari guys. Lettuce is always crisp and has everything I like in it (olives, eggs, carrots, artichoke, peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, and romaine lettuce). We were almost full just from the salad alone. I ordered a grouper sandwich (not fried), and my lovely wife ordered the Scottish salmon plate, which comes with potatoes and grilled vegetables. My sandwich came with coleslaw and fresh cut fries. They switched to fresh cut since my last visit, and this was an upgrade. My sandwich was great, and huge too. Could not finish it. Wife's meal was a humongous slab of salmon. The veggies now come on a smaller plate, but that's okay, given the size of the fish. Service was a tad slow, but like I said, we weren't in any hurry. Total tab was $100, with tax and that pesky 3% service fee. I really enjoyed the food and the ambiance. It's not a place I can go every week, but when I can splurge, and have a taste for fresh seafood, this is the best around.
