The part took awhile longer to come in than expected, but that was not Jorge's fault: once he had the part, he came back ASAP to install it. Update to my original review of Heights A/C from 2019: Mitch kept my old 2006 unit running for…read moreseven years. At least two blower unit rebuilds, a control card, multiple capacitor replacements, and a few pounds of refrigerant every couple years. This year the refill exited far too quickly and I called Heights A/C for a quote. Thomas replaced the old unit and re-worked the ducts for a great result. The house feels better with the new duct work and the system is amazingly quiet.

The rep who came in had to meet my parents who speak limited English and from what I gathered, he was rude and short (not polite at all). Anyways, the work was "done" but about a little over week ago, the issue came back. When I called the company, they declined to assist me because the "30 day window" was up and they have to charge me again OR I can call the warranty company again and deal with them (and funnily, the warranty company said just the opposite). I'm not happy with the service nor the results of what was done. This is why I'm writing this review!

Wow!!! I called Nicks Pluming and AC initially and they came out Saturday at 2pm to look at my AC…read moreand told me that the capacitor needed to be changed that was 2k but if the unit needed to be changed that would be 6k and that there could be a leak. Pretty much a bunch of BS I called Efficient Polar Air they came out Saturday at 9PM said that the builder when the HVAC person installed the unit they didn't vacuum enough and if anything the expansion valve needed to be changed and vacuum to be done but couldn't confirm anything Nicks Pluming/AC was saying. They fixed the issue for there standard service call and if it keeps reoccuring the expansion valve and vacuum needs to be done. Do yourself a favor and if you have any AC issue call Efficient Polar Air!!! They saved me so much $$$$ by being honest and quick.
