When you meet the one, you just know! I went to a few consultations previously before consulting with Dr. Reichner and although they were informative, it didn't click with me. I was referred to Dr. Reichner from a friend of mine who had her breast augmentation done by him as well and raved about her results. What sold me on Dr. Reichner is that I felt that I was going to be taken care of. He assured me that he takes every precaution to keep the surgery area sterilized to eliminate any chance of infection (very important to me!); He offers a special surgical bra and supplements for recovery (definitely take the stuff for swelling!); He walks you through the Dos and Don'ts regarding activities, foods and generally what to expect while recovering. There was a wave of reassurance that I got with him that I didn't find with any other doctor and I knew he was the one. I booked the same day. Consultation/ Pre-Op appiontment: The majority of my consultation was with Lisa, who is knowledgeable, welcoming and thorough with what to expect from beginning to end. Dr. Reichner came in to take my measurements, provided a recommended size then Lisa continued to have me try on sizes. Ladies- even though these are medical experts, you need to know what YOU want. This is a major surgery with major costs so do some of your own research as well. It won't be anyone else's fault but your own if you go to big or too small. At the pre-op consultation we agreed on under the muscle, silicone with the incision under the breast at 450 and 420cc (my breasts were different sizes). I was getting cold feet about the size and asked if I could come in to retry on some sizes and they were happy to schedule some time for me. Surgery Day: Surgery is at La Veta Medical Center just down the street and the staff are great. They have to know that this is nerve racking for most people but they kept me in good spirits. Dr. Reichner came to see me before the operation and a quick hour later I had boobs! Recovery: Post op check ups are 5 days, 2 weeks and 6 weeks and 1 year after surgery. I'm at my 6 week mark while writing this. Met Lisa again at Spa Aesthetica for a light treatment on the area which stimulates the recovery of the skin cells and helps the swelling. Any issue I had (i experienced muscle tightness quite often) I would call and their front desk staff was always happy to answer my questions and assured me that things are going smoothly. I've been to Dr. Reichner two times now, 12 years apart, and I've been beyond happy with the results each time. When you make a consultation appointment with Dr. Reichner don't expect to meet with a Dr. Oz or a Doc Hollywood (you know the type). Unfortunately, my experience with Dr. Reichner's office did not turn out well. After my initial consultation, the office was going to get approval for my procedure through my insurance for pricing, before scheduling surgery. Almost 2 weeks later, I still had not been contacted by the office to schedule, and so I contacted the insurance company to see if the procedure had been approved. I was informed that nothing had yet been submitted by the office. After contacting the office to see what the delay had been, and told they would look into the matter, I was contacted less than 2 hours later and told that they had called the insurance company and everything had been approved and I could schedule surgery. So if I hadn't gotten involved at this point, there would not have been any follow up on the part of the office and the next step in the surgery process would have been dragged out for who knows how long. Additionally, it was clear to me that my surgery could have been approved weeks earlier, for the speed at which it was approved once I was involved was quite quick. So, before scheduling, I was exact about getting pricing. Given a quote from the office, I asked repeatedly if there would be any additional charges, if the quote given me was the final and total cost to me? I was repeatedly told that the price given was the grand total of my out of pocket costs. With this, I scheduled my pre-op appointment and my surgery. The day before my pre-op, my husband, who was listed as the primary insurance holder and not the patient, was contacted by the surgical center and a voicemail was left giving a second quote for the cost of MY surgery. With the discrepancy, I contacted Dr. Reichner's office. I explained the two quotes and was put on hold. When the staff returned, I was told that the first quote given to me was for the surgeon costs and the second quote was for the surgical center costs, and I would be responsible for both fees. So now my costs more than tripled! I explained that the combined fees were too expensive for me to cover and expressed my confusion as to why I had never been told, in all of my communications with the office regarding pricing and repeatedly asking about ALL out of pocket costs to me, that I would be responsible for 2 separate fees. Unfortunately, I was forced to cancel my pre-op appointment and my surgery due to the now added expenses. This surgery is something that I need. I am in pain and uncomfortable daily and need the help of surgery to take care of the issue. When I expressed this to the staff and that I would need to cancel, there was no attempt to help reconcile the problem and help me as a patient to rectify the mistake on their part in regards to a complete lack of communication. If I am able to get this surgery in the future, I will NOT be subjecting myself to this office again. I feel their dealings with me were highly unprofessional, unfair, and I am so disappointed in not just giving up on the chance to finally having relief from my ailment, but for the time I wasted dealing with them, the hassle in rearranging my schedule for surgery and recovery, and for my husband to have changed traveling schedules and meetings for work in preparation for my surgery, ALL for nothing!!! read more

After thinking about it for a long time, I finally decided to have Laser Resurfacing done on my face. I made an appointment with a plastic surgeon. At the appointment the Dr spent about 5 minutes with me and then I waited in a room for a long time for one of the assistants to come and explain the procedure to me. Later that week someone from one of their other offices left me a message and kept calling me by the wrong name. I knew I needed to find another Dr. I found Dr. Daniel Reichner. What a difference!! The Dr.and his nurse Lisa spent 45 minutes with me going over what the procedure would entail and what I should expect after the treatment. The price that I paid included all of the products I needed to care for my skin before and after the procedure (which was considerably less than the first Dr.). Four weeks before the procedure I was put on a facial regime to prepare my skin. I am very happy that I finally had this done. It's only been 2 months but my face looks so much better. Totally not worth it. First of all he's very expensive, he charged me $7500 for a breast augmentation.After my first consultation, which it was with his assistant, he's excuse was that he's too busy to make the consultation, his assistant said the price is $6100 including everything, after I made a deposit of $1000 to schedule the surgery suddenly the price went up to $7500, ofcourse i could not take my deposit back nor cancel the surgery. His assitants lacked alot of knowledge. I'm 5'6" and 115 pounds and because of them I ended up with huge high profile breasts that are not asymmetrical,no cleavage, that are way outside the torso, plus the cuts that he made on my nipples are not the same and even now after 2 years after the surgery I still see the marks. Not to mention the pain that i have almost every day because he didnt place the silicon bags it suppose too. I was fooled by the nice pictures he has on website and i thought that i will get the same. I would definitely not recommend him,he's just for the money like many other plastic surgeons, he doesn't care about the patients. read more
