Very pleased with this experience! Our server, Walter, was amazing. He explained everything on the menu in detail and gave us his recommendations- which were great. The ambience was very nice and vibey- perfect for a date night. It's a little on the pricier side, but the quality of both the service and the food made it worth it. I did feel that the mashed potatoes were a bit of a rip-off, but if that's your thing, you might feel differently. It was our anniversary, and they brought us a dessert (which we didn't ask for), which was a nice gesture- but then they charged us for it... lol. My wife and I decided that we'd celebrate Mothers Day tonight, Saturday. I heard that this new restaurant was great, so I checked the reviews and they sounded so good we made reservations. They are willing to try to accommodate your needs, the only disappointment I had was that they did not have a pasta dish. The servings are ample and sharing is not an issue. The crab cake was shareable as was the Cesare salad and the bronzino. The twice baked potato was large enough to share and delicious and the dessert was different then any bread pudding I'd ever had. Just as beautiful and upscale as Fiola was before it turned into Daniel's. I went for the Miami Spice brunch and thought everything was wonderful. The waffles were outstanding, the pasta was just as impressive. Everything here here is top notch, the docor, the service, the overall presentation, etc. They do offer valet parking or you can park on the street. Make sure you have a reservation or there is a good chance you will not be coming in. It's pricey but you will get what you pay for. Beautifully maintained tables, bathroon, and bar make this place an oasis for anyone that was looking for upper tier dining. I will be trying the Ft. Lauderdale location but please keep in mind that only this location does brunch and lunch. read more

I'd give this place 10 Stars w/ an A+++. Where do I start? It's a Saturday night. The wife and I were supposed to go to Cut 432 in Delray. Meet some friends there. But they cancelled last minute. We were all dressed up, wanted steak and some damn good cocktails. So we decided to head to Daniel's. Never been. We were hoping to sit at the bar when we arrived because we did not make reservations. Let me tell you. I forgot about the other steakhouse we were supposed to go to the minute we walked in. No offense, Cut. While we waited for a couple to finish up we started with the drinks: Grey Goose Espresso Martini and a Grey Goose Dirty Dirty Dirty Martini. Both rock solid. Within minutes of being there and ordering drinks we were fortunate enough to get a table. So we immediately paid the bar tab and jetted over. Greeted by (forgot her name) an amazing server. Started with the SERENOA SKIPPER SWEET OYSTERS and WAGYU & PEARLS!!! WOW!!! The tartare was the best I've ever had. And I eat a lot of it. Then we hopped on the CREEKSTONE 35 DAY DRY AGED PRIME COWBOY RIBEYE w/ truffle butter, homemade steak sauce, fries and mushrooms. ABSOLUTE GRAND SLAM OF A STEAK! Like, out of the park. We also were gifted w/ the MILK BREAD. Delicate and fluffy with soft butter to add to it. We finished the meal with an Affogato and Passion Fruit Sorbet. The dessert menu though, looked amazing. Will be getting the key lime pie next time. Spectacular evening spent with my wife. Great date night. We even met some nice couples sitting next to us. My friend and I went to Daniel's Steakhouse on 2 28 26. Here is what we experienced. 1. Upon walking into the bar at 4pm, we were told we could not be seated as a private party was being held that evening. No signage and the staff was not friendly, nor did they say to us, "We apologize" but however the dining room open at 4:30pm. 2. We then went to the dining room side where we were greeted by all the staff and were told that they don't open until 4:30pm. It was 4:05pm, on our phones. They were all unfriendly, no one smiled at us, and I asked if we could sit at the bar are wait until 4:30pm. They said we had to leave, too. 3. If I were the manager or one of the wait staff, and as the kitchen was already prepared to start serving in another 20 minutes, they could have allowed us to have invited us in to have a cup of coffee or a drink at the bar, and made us feel welcomed. I'm a thirty-five year resident of this city, and I never was treated so unkindly and unfriendly, by a group of unprofessional employees. Kassidy, is this the type of behavior you allow at your Daniel's? Cold, unwelcoming and truly rude. I was embarrassed for them. Your customer service is abysmal. By the way, your garbage and trash area is really dirty looking, untidy, and had an unpleasant odor. Customers don't want to look at that when they walk into your establishment. 4. I noticed you have a room scent being pumped into the air. I am only giving 2 stars instead of 1 because our server was wonderful. Other than that... Our group of 9 was NOT impressed. If you're going to call yourself a Michelin Guided restaurant, I don't think fruit flies, dirty menus, freezing cold TWICE BAKED potatoes or undisclosed liquid dripping from the ceiling onto half of our party should be in question. I work in the industry. I understand that things happen and wouldn't make such a big deal if it wasn't for the fact that we spent $650- a separate check from the other 5 guests, on a dinner (that we didn't even fill up on). Also, only 2/4 of our check had drinks. Mind you, our "34 Ounce Wagyu Steak Imported from Australia" was supposed to feed 4. I would say about 17 of those ounces were bone. However, I must commend our waiter, Jon, who was very friendly and provided excellent service throughout our meal. Took my son at his recommendation. Food is good but very pricey. Was a bit disappointed with service. Waiter recommended a drink to one of us which she did not like and then asked for another instead. It showed up 25 minutes later and still tried to charge her for the 1st one which was removed when asked. Seems like a lot of the patrons are returners as you could see how they were greeted when they arrived. 4 people can easily spend toward $750-$1k for a dinner with drinks, appetizers and steak entree. I visited the newly opened "Daniel's" last night, which took over the old Val + Tino space at 620 S. Federal Highway in Fort Lauderdale. It's apparent from the minute you step into the restaurant that this is not a typical steakhouse. Whereas most steakhouses have a dimly lit, darker ambience, you're instantly greeted here with a brightly lit ambience and lively scene. We arrived about 15 minutes before our reservation time, so we sat at the bar and had a cocktail while we waited. I opted for the "Ring of Fire", which consists of Ilegal Mezcal, Aperol, Black Pepper, and Lime, for $18. Typically expensive for a cocktail in a high end restaurant, but it was very refreshing and flavorful. Just as we were finishing our drink, the hostess came by to tell us that our table was ready, so we paid our tab and followed her over to our table while staring at various tables of people seemingly enjoying their delicious looking steaks. The first thing I noticed when I sat down was the colored plates and gold silverware, which I don't recall ever seeing in a restaurant before. So right off the bat, we could tell this was going to be a unique experience. We were even asked if we preferred a white or a black napkin, which I believe was a first for me. Our server came over shortly after and reviewed the menu with us, explaining how they source all of their ingredients locally here in Florida. Now, one thing that I noticed is that the menu was slightly different than the menu that is posted on their website. It was explained to us that the reason for this was because based on the fact they are committed to sourcing locally, some of their items will be based on availability, and therefore the menu will be an ongoing work in progress and may change on a weekly basis. I've posted a copy of the menu with this review to give you an idea, and you'll notice some of the differences if you compare this to the menu on their website. Since we were absolutely starving, we immediately put in orders for three appetizers to get us started: * Milk bread * Basil Caesar * Florida Burrata The bread almost looked like a pretzel bun but had the texture of a croissant. It was nice and warm and practically melted in my mouth. The salad was unlike any caesar I've ever had, both in presentation and flavor. The dressing wasn't a traditional caesar and had a lemon taste to it. The burrata was super fresh and creamy, and I absolutely love yellow tomatoes, so that was a bonus. For my entree I went with the 8 oz filet, cooked medium, along with a side of peppercorn sauce. In addition, we got 2 sides to share, the Grilled Aparagus and the Potato Fonduta (a fancy term for mashed potatoes). My steak was cooked to perfection, perfectly red in the middle and a nice char on the outside. The peppercorn sauce was to die for. So good in fact, I even dipped my asparagus and potatoes in it. Speaking of which, these were some of the best mashed potatoes I've ever had and the portion size was humongous. Watched it all down with a glass of very smooth red wine, but I can't recall at the moment exactly what it was! For dessert we shared some key lime lie which was outrageous, but I was so full at that point I couldn't even eat all of my half of it. Lastly, here's a funny tidbit. Often while eating at a high-end restaurant, I try to guess the tab just for fun (actually, the bill wasn't so fun ). This time, I guessed it would be $377.86, and amazingly, it was $377.71- off by only $.15! Pretty crazy, although I would lose by Price is Right rules by going over. But I digress. The experience was great, the service was top notch, the food was off the charts good, and the atmosphere was very nice. Now, will I be back soon? At a cost of $229 after tip, this is honestly not the type of place I'll come back to weekly or even monthly, but will I come back a few times a year as a treat or for a special occasion? Absolutely. Oh, and I would also come back to check out their happy hour at the bar, which has some reasonably priced drinks and appetizers, which you can see on their menu. read more

French Fries; (2.) Crimini Mushrooms and (3.) Corn Pudding (their take on cream of corn) each tasty but everything served was disappointingly warm or cold. The manger was apologetic after trying to get my steak right, but after two tries and the steak was still not cooked right, I decided to take it home and finish cooking the steak myself, apparently something their kitchen was incapable of doing, but the hits keep on coming. When I got home the piece of steak was there but the forgot to include the cold corn and mushrooms for me to heat up as well, but no they didn't ask, they just left it on the plate for the dishwasher!!! Truly disappointing meal notwithstanding a great start to the evening!!! As a Keylime aficionado, I would not recommend their Keylime creation and my buddy ordered a banana bread concoction, which had a great sauce, but in my view the really missed the mark with the banana bread itself.
