Let's start with the positives, the space is really nice and this restaurant is huge. The service is really nice, but not too observant. Prices, ridiculous. I will pay whatever for good food, but $24 for a basic wedge salad (touted to be entree size) (I paid approximately $9 to add shrimp)... this came with 4 shrimp. Come on. How is this supposed to hold me for dinner. I had also ordered it with dressing on the side and it came with dressing. No biggie, they fixed this error immediately. The calamari was very chewy. Waters were not refilled. Was not an impressive experience.

A cozy restaurant, upscale, with nice ambience and great service. The menu is eclectic with some unusual presentations. Fabulous happy hour!

My Boyfriend and I recently visited this establishment and I have quite a lot to say about it. The things I absolutely loved about this place was the out of the box cocktails they had on their menu. We split a few and all of them were so delicious. The bartender and staff were very pleasant and outgoing. I truly would recommend this place for happy hour cocktails or late night cocktails. The only downfall was we had placed a few appetizers and once we started to eat our third appetizer, my boyfriend noticed what appeared to be a bug crawling around on the plate. I was absolutely mortified, and the bartender immediately took it away and informed the manager. And why the manager was extremely apologetic and comped us for the food that we ordered our drink bill was still upwards to $60. For it being our first time there and having that experience, I'm just not sure we willbe able to make it back. With that being said I still do recommend this place for amazing cocktails and relaxing vibe at the bar.

We were taking my parents out to dinner and decided to come here since it was new and close to them. Our waitress was friendly but drinks took awhile to come out. My cucumber gimlet drink was very refreshing. My dad got a Manhattan and he said it was ok. My second drink I got an espresso martini and it was a little watered down though. The appetizers were very good. We got the bacon wrapped scallops. They were cooked perfectly and pretty big, and the horseradish sauce was good with them. I thought it was a little pricey for the amount though, it was $18 for only 5 scallops. In a picture on Yelp I saw 9 scallops, maybe the other ones were smaller though I don't know. We also got the bourbon shrimp which was good too , but you only got 5 shrimp. I ordered the crab cakes as my meal. They were ok but they were advertised with jumbo lump crab in it and the meat looked mostly chopped up to me. It was a little on the wet/mushy side as well. It only came with corn on the side as well, I would have liked some kind of starch to make the meal more filling, I was stealing a lot of my husband's potatoes. My husband enjoyed his ribeye, though I felt it was a little salty. We also split the chocolate tort which was a nice finish to the meal, it was rich but small enough to not overstuff us. I'm glad we checked this place out but if we ever came back I think it would be just for drinks and appetizers.

Mixed experience at Daniel's this past week. On the bright side the food was awesome. Everyone enjoyed all of their entrees (really good crab cakes for me) and appetizers (whipped ricotta was great). The interior is also really cool, with classy decor, lots of space, cool bar, and an impressive upstairs event area. The negative came with the service unfortunately. Throughout the meal we were often thirsty as a result of the very small water glasses and busy server, and at the end of the meal, we were somehow charged for the wrong table's check - that is simply not something that should happen at a restaurant, especially on a relatively quiet night. Altogether a solid experience, just wish the service was a bit better. For as expensive as this place is, you expect a bit more than we received. Will probably make it back at some point, just not as eagerly as I might have otherwise.

We just had my daughter-in-laws shower at Daniel's this past weekend it was perfect. First, the staff was absolutely the best. Friendly and very attentive to all of our needs. Second, the atmosphere was beautiful. The rustic setting was exactly our taste and the room was the perfect size. And best of all, the food was delicious. We had both the caesar and beet salads, orzo and spinach and pasta with sauce as the sides and a chicken with mozzarella and peppers for the entree. My guests have complimented the food all day. Cannoli's for dessert along with the Italian cookies and cake we brought with us. It was the perfect day to celebrate the upcoming birth of my first grand baby. Great place. Would recommend it to anyone!!

Super good food and great quality! Will definitely be back! They had so many unique options and the mushrooms were very flavorful.

My 100th Yelp Review is way overdue, but am happy it is a momentous one…read more As this was a dinner of a lifetime. It was the second weekend in December and we arrived on a cold night to Eddie V's. With the chill in the air, it was a pleasant surprise to see valet parking available for patrons. We pulled up, the young man was so quick and friendly & we headed inside. We had a 7:30pm reservation and could see the restaurant was packed. Lots of holiday cheer around the bar area for sure. Our coats were checked. We waited quite some time in the corridor, however after about 10 minutes a staff member appeared with a tray offering of champagne, for all who were waiting. This was an exceptional consideration. After about 10 more minutes we were seated. In the back room of the restaurant, back corner, along side their Christmas tree. The ambiance was only made more perfect by the birthday card and confetti they had adorned the table with. We started with cocktails. My signature Sapphire Martini with Blue Cheese Olives. Spot on. Perfect dirty, only a vermouth kiss and big ole hand stuffed olives. My husband ordered an Old Fashioned. It was with a specific rye on menu that was not available at the time. The server had them substitute Whistle Pig 12 (complimentary without upcharge). This again was so considerate. Our server was so attentive, generous, complimentary, careful and helpful. We loved having him. Our Food- The bread was warm, crusty and chewy. Along with the creamy, fatty butter flaked with salt and chives. We ordered our appetizers- Oysters, Calamari and Dumplings We loved having the opportunity to try multiple varieties of oysters. They all tasted clean and distinct. My husband loves horseradish, so it was fantastic to see a side offering of just that, with the cocktail sauce and mignonette. And the lemon was in a bag!!!! The Calamari was a joy. Asian flair, crisp veggies, the calamari sang in texture and light fry. And cashews!! Squid and cashews. Inspiring. We also tried the Wagyu Dumplings. Plump, savory pillows. The beef was tender and flavorful. The wasabi cream gave a zing. Our meal had the best start. For entrees, my husband ordered the Lamb Chops. I ordered the Sea Scallops. Sides we had - the Lobster Mashed Potatoes and Asparagus. (We had leftovers, lolol) The plating for this Lamb was so strategic. It sat atop its Chimichurri Butter Sauce just the bottoms dabbling in it. So at your desire- to dip at whatever length the lamb, into the sauce, or eat the lamb alone. This dish was incredible and genius. My Scallops were seared spot on. Golden crust but a mild, clean, sweet inside. Cooked exactly. The pepitas gave a nice crunch and the squash puree gave a seasonal spin. But the scallops stood on their own and it was perfect. The Asparagus had bite, was not woodsy and not over seasoned. Just a well cooked vegetable. The Lobster Mashed Potatoes was butter heaven. Creamy, the huge chunks of lobster were swimming, and no potato peels, so smooth & decadent. We were stuffed so nixed dessert, however- a birthday dessert arrived. What a show! Flambé hooray!!! A firey plate with bananas, a coffee chip ice cream and chocolate cookie cake. We ate it happily, (hating ourselves later, for being so stuffed). This dessert was so sweet in gesture and taste. An ideal ending. This was sincerely the most care we have ever felt dining out. We felt like (and ate like!) a King and Queen. The thoughtfulness that went into our night gave miracle service. Model class, truly magical, and unprecedented. Thank you Eddie V's for a birthday experience so incredible in food, small touches and care that I will treasure and feel special for forever.

The restaurant was completely packed, and by the time we left, there was a crowd gathered out front waiting--definitely a popular spot. Inside, the two-person tables were set quite close together, making the space feel a bit tight, and the noise level was quite high throughout the restaurant. Service was a highlight. Our server, Nadine, was warm, friendly, and attentive. She answered our questions with ease and always had a welcoming smile, and the bussing team kept our water glasses filled without us ever having to ask. We started with the complimentary warm bread and butter, which is always a nice touch. We were also each served a fried oyster called amuse, which was a pleasant surprise. I had the crab cake appetizer, followed by the Big Glory Bay king salmon with a side of crab fried rice with mushrooms. My husband ordered the Wagyu dumplings and the Norwegian salmon. I enjoyed my dishes--everything was well-prepared and flavorful. However, my husband wasn't particularly impressed; he found his dishes to be average and not especially memorable, which made the overall experience feel a bit uneven. While the restaurant delivers on ambiance and solid service, the food didn't quite rise to the level you might expect for the price point. Overall, it feels like an elevated mall restaurant--pleasant, but slightly overpriced for what you get.

Once inside, the feeling was a lot better. Not much in the way of art work on the walls, but still had a nice warm feeling. There were 3 of us and we did a lot of sharing. The Scallops in Shredded Filo was good but the Crab & Artichoke, with garlic aioli, parsley and capers was definitely "the winner". The Seafood Ceviche with scallops, halibut and shrimp was also delicious. While 2 of us were still enjoying our appetizers, our entrees were brought to the table and our plates moved to make room for them. I made the comment to no one in particular that I would try to eat faster as the seafood ceviche was pushed off to the side of the table. We had a 7 pm reservation and for the most part the restaurant was full by that time but we were not intentionally eating slowly. I could see if we might be taking up too much time eating and they had to move the tables but that was not the case as the restaurant was only half full by the time we left. For an establishment that is charging the prices that it is, Avg $18 for appetizers, high $30s for entrees, no one wants to feel rushed. The Halibut Almondine with Beurre Blank was good but not as good as we had hoped, with it being on the dry-side. The Dorado with Baby Vegetables was delicious as well as beautifully presented with "potato fish scales". A shared warm Pecan Pie with Vanilla Ice Cream completed our meal. Their menu is extensive making it an easy decision to return but I will mention that we would like a more leisurely experience this time around.

Part of me feels the tasting menu tonight is a bit of a letdown. 1) The caramelized onion with cream sauce is super salty to the extent that I couldn't eat it. My husband was hungry so he ate both without much thinking, but later he said the high sodium level became obvious towards the end. 2) One of the two main dishes: the scallops are super salty too! But I still ate them as there are only three medium-sized scallops anyway. 3) Seating is super tight, almost uncomfortable. You're literally on top of each other. So the restaurant became very loud and it's hard to hear clearly what the servers are saying. We didn't hear the "inedible sea grass" part, so I was poking the sea grass after I finished my single oyster. The lead female server almost "yelled"'at me. We also witnessed her harshly tell the male server to move faster to clear one table, which we find unnecessary as he was already moving as fast as the tight space allowed him to. But our tall young female server is very friendly--her warm mannerism makes us feel better during the long wait between courses. My favorite out of the seven-course tasting menu is: the smoked salmon with poached egg. It has a very balanced flavor and the texture combination makes the dish interesting. Maybe it's better not to do the tasting menu especially if it's your first visit, as it doesn't allow you to make any choice.
