I gave him a pair of brand new laces, and distinctly said that I wanted to keep the same pattern, which was straight bar lacing. He said 'no problem'. I picked up the shoes a little while ago, and when I pointed out that the laces weren't laced the way I asked, he gave me a dumb smirk and said that 'you can tie them any way you like'. The red didn't match, the sole was cut unevenly, and the sole had logos on it. The only logo I want is Christian louboutin. I'm so upset , my shoes were over $2200 combined and they ruined them. When I called to speak to an owner they gave me a run around and proceeded to argue with me. The pictures speak for themselves I am livid!! Worst experience ever! I brought my favorite cognac wedge boots here for a little TLC since they were starting to look really scuffed and needed a new heel. When I went there on Wednesday, I asked if I can pick them up on Friday, he said no problem. I went there yesterday and they looked brand spankin' new and all for a measly $13 dollars! Dropped off 3 pairs of boots that needed their heels replaced. Prices ranged from $6 to $9 a pair, the total being $22. I picked them up two days later and they were fine, although looking at them now I wish I could've specified what color my heel replacements are. I think they are all black (can't remember off the top of my head) and my boots were cream, taupe and grey. I don't know if they or other cobblers offer different colors in heel replacements, but next time I will definitely ask. read more

New soles, new heels...It might have just been easier to buy a new pair of hot boots...but I couldn't part with them! Daniel saved them! I brought in a pair of boots my wife bought in Italy a while back. They were in need of a cleaning, new insoles and the bottoms needed work as they no longer had grip. I dropped them off, paid $20 as a deposit and returned 3 days later for pick up. The shoe cleaning job was average. The insoles were average and he only put grip on the heel, not the entire bottom or the tip. I kind I had a a feeling it was going to go this way when I dropped the boots off, but I gave him a try anyhow. $35.75 later and they look okay. Not great mind you, but okay. A solid 3 star job. The owner is nice, but doesn't say much. I think that is because of the language barrier. read more

I went in to get a back pack repaired, it was ripping at the seams. I bought that pack in 2007 and has been through a lot of abuse. I didn't want to just throw it away and buy a new one because it wasn't holey everywhere , it was just ripping cleanly along the seams of a section. There was a one day turn around time and the price to strengthen the seams was a good price. When I first got there, the young man who worked there told me his mom was the one does the sewing and she wasn't there. He promised he would call me once his mom returned and would tell me if it was repairable and also the price. I left my pack there and the young man kept his word. He told me the price and said it would be ready the next day. This place is very professional and I will do business with them again. My pack was good as new. The repair they did fell apart just days later on all the items I went in to repair. Told me there was not much they could do AFTER they took my money. Went back twice to try to get them to fix it again but they would only fix one. The third repair looks a bit tacky but holding so far. Gave an extra star because the lady there was not rude to me despite having to deal with an angry customer and they didn't just flat out say no to the second and third times I came back. They did at least make an attempt (even if it didn't work, twice!). HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I took in a pair of black leather boots to have the zipper replaced ,because it had came off its track . When I spoke with a friendly lady who said she could put in a new zipper and have them back in 3 days .when I finally came in to get the shoes I was in a hurry so I took them an was happy to see they were back on the track when I put them on however they snagged in the same spot they had busted off from before .come to find out it was the same spot they had derailed at ,the zipper was not replaced only fixed to the untrained eye . she supposedly changed the zipper head which was a lie because the zipper heads were the same exact zippers I had been used to ! I ended up getting my money back because the woman didn't want to discuss it anymore and said "I don't have time for this you can have your money back . Just get out ." I have been taking my shoes here for a couple years as well as referring everyone I know. Until I bought an amazing pair of sandals in to have them cut down as I have with most of my shoes for years. The shoes were destroyed because they were cut too much and you can not walk in them. When I returned the shoes I was told only a 1/4 inch was taken off which was obviously a lie. Had he owned up to his error I still would have been upset since I never got a chance to wear the shoes, I would not be insulted by him thinking I am an idiot who does not know the difference between an inch an a 1/4 of an inch.
