I took 2 pairs of louboutin to Daniels shoe repair in Chula Vista , I asked for the red soles to be replaced and my shoes to be "finetuned" . I picked them up and they were horrible. The red didn't match, the sole was cut unevenly, and the sole had logos on it. The only logo I want is Christian louboutin. I'm so upset , my shoes were over $2200 combined and they ruined them. When I called to speak to an owner they gave me a run around and proceeded to argue with me. The pictures speak for themselves I am livid!! Worst experience ever! They won't fix them, or return my money ! The workers are rude , his name is Angel And I didn't get the ladies name because she wouldn't tell me.

Daniel did an excellent job on my three dress shoes! He made them virtually like new. His prices were excellent. I believe he is the best shoe repair shop in San Diego. I highly recommend him.

And now the shoe has fallen apart. First the resoled shoe was not properly adhered, and now the shoe has fallen apart. Please avoid this shoe repairer if you want your shoe to last longer.

This is an after photo of the repairs done on the boots. Read the review for details.

I brought in a pair of boots my wife bought in Italy a while back. They were in need of a cleaning, new insoles and the bottoms needed work as they no longer had grip. I dropped them off, paid $20 as a deposit and returned 3 days later for pick up. The shoe cleaning job was average. The insoles were average and he only put grip on the heel, not the entire bottom or the tip. I kind I had a a feeling it was going to go this way when I dropped the boots off, but I gave him a try anyhow. $35.75 later and they look okay. Not great mind you, but okay. A solid 3 star job. The owner is nice, but doesn't say much. I think that is because of the language barrier.

You can't tell it was all ripped and tore up along the seams huh? Good job on the repair!

I went in to get a back pack repaired, it was ripping at the seams. I bought that pack in 2007 and has been through a lot of abuse. I didn't want to just throw it away and buy a new one because it wasn't holey everywhere , it was just ripping cleanly along the seams of a section. There was a one day turn around time and the price to strengthen the seams was a good price. When I first got there, the young man who worked there told me his mom was the one does the sewing and she wasn't there. He promised he would call me once his mom returned and would tell me if it was repairable and also the price. I left my pack there and the young man kept his word. He told me the price and said it would be ready the next day. This place is very professional and I will do business with them again. My pack was good as new. It's ready to take another 7 years of abuse. Oh, they also do clothing alterations too. They do it all!

Best place! Practically can restore any shoes. My shoes took a beating in TJ, but Daniel's left them looking like NEW!

It's so great to have a place that does good work on shoes and leather goods. I brought several belts in for repair and the price was super reasonable. Much cheaper than buying new belts.

I contacted another cobbler first, told to send photos, waited for callbacks, called them again and got vague answers about how delicate the leather was and how cleaning it could spread the stain... they said they'll think of ways on what to do and call me back and then never heard back again. Thankfully, I found Chito's Shoe Repair online and reached out by text with photos of my bag. Within 5 minutes, they responded and asked me to call. Jenny spoke with me personally and was incredibly patient, kind, and reassuring. She didn't make unrealistic promises, but she took the time to explain that she wouldn't fully know the outcome until she saw the bag in person. I was extremely stressed, and her honesty mixed with compassion immediately made me feel better. What truly amazed me was that even though the only time I could get there was after their hours, Jenny still accommodated me and allowed me to bring the bag in. That level of kindness and care is rare. When I arrived, she carefully inspected the bag and walked me through exactly what her cleaning process would be. She explained everything in detail and set realistic expectations while still making me feel hopeful. At that point, I honestly thought I may have ruined my bag permanently.. especially because in my panic, I had already tried a few things myself that probably made the stain worse. Two days later, I picked up my bag and it looked like NOTHING had ever happened. I genuinely could not believe it. The stain was gone, and my bag looked beautiful again. What stood out even more was how much Jenny genuinely cared about educating me. She taught me about leather care, explained how leathers react , and even gave me advice on a wallet project I was trying to fix myself. She wasn't trying to upsell me or push me to bring everything in for repair -- she actually wanted me to understand how to care for my own items. That says so much about her character and integrity. I also met her husband Chris, and together they are just wonderful people. Warm, knowledgeable, honest, and clearly passionate about what they do. I'm beyond grateful I found someone I can truly trust with my luxury pieces. Thank you again, Jenny and Chris, for saving my bag and for treating me with so much kindness throughout the entire process!

I will likely try a business shop vs home shop next time. I called multiple times and arranged for a fitting to alter two jackets. First Don said he was available the next day and to call back. I did and arranged to stop by, kept asking for the address, and finally he gave it to me, but called back later and ask I stop by later that day. When I tried again in the afternoon, he gave me an address and said his sister is helping him and will meet with me. Went to the home and the man introduced himself as Don so I was so confused. He said a business partner is sending him leadals, maybe that is Don? The woman (Loan) was very sweet who did my alterations. Anyway, whoever I ended up being sent to was ok but it wasnt Don and cant find her listing to leave a review there. Leaving this here so others are aware they may be sent elsewhere instead of Don. The alterations for 2 jackets were ok. One jacket was perfect but the other was looser and not quite as tailored. Price was cheaper than standard so I was not too upset, you get what you pay for.

When I dropped off my Chelsea Doc Marten boots, he mentioned there would likely be glue residue because of the type of boot, which I understood and was okay with. I figured some messiness comes with repair work. A few days later I picked them up and was honestly surprised at the cost for a fairly simple glue repair. For the price, I expected at least a little care in presentation -- not a full polish, but maybe a quick clean or some attention to detail. Instead, the boots looked almost exactly the same as when I dropped them off, and there really wasn't any visible repair work besides being told they were fixed. About a month later, I wore them for the first time since repaired and by the time I got from my house to my office, the entire sole had already come off again. After paying around $50 and not loving the overall experience, I didn't feel confident going back for another repair. I ended up buying shoe glue on Amazon, fixing them myself, and haven't had a single issue since. This was my first experience getting shoes repaired, so maybe my expectations were off, but for the cost and overall experience, it just wasn't worth it for me.
