I apprecaite that they took 30 minutes fitting boots for me, and when they figured out they didn't have the size that would be perfect, they found some locally and were willing to have them to the store in about a day. But,as a step up, they called ahead (I was willing to drive), and had the boots I wanted reserved and on standby. You can buy Red Wings on line, and probably save some money, but I feel the service is worth it, and honestly, the prices here are very good to start with. read more

Chris, the store manager, is very professional and knowledgeable. My wife and I own a business and appreciate doing business with people who demonstrate they truly care for their customers. The way Chris dealt with us demonstrated he is that type of person. To show our appreciation for our employees, my wife sent them in to see Chris for an education on quality work footwear and to pick the boot of their choice. Chris even went out of his way to work with one of our guys even after the store had closed. I'm a critical impulsive buyer. By that I mean, I do crazy amounts of research before I walk straight into a location and buy the item. At Red Wings, this was no exception. The only difference was that the young lady who helped me out, validated all my research. She knew her product and made me feel like I already knew I was leaving with a pair of kick ass boots! Immediately, the store setup proved to me that only serious buyers come here. There is 1 seat, the main seat, a comfortable leather seat with guests couches on the side for the spectators to watch greatness going down. Obviously, the customer is valued from the get-go. The representative asks "what are you looking for?" and then they start by measuring your foot using they're state-of-the-art machine. They tell you your size and arch type. Based on that info, she was able to tell me which size I needed. Even though I know my size and I didn't agree with her recommendation of going a size down. I asked for the Iron Ranger and she brought out the 9.5 she suggested. She put the boot on me and man.... Smooth!!!! Snug!!! Amazing!!! I walked around and I was sold, but I needed to see if my size was good so I asked for a smaller one to ease my critical ass brain... she put that one on and ... Smooth!!!! Snug!!!! Amazing!!! It was equally comfortable, so I was confused. So I addressed my concerns - I've never purchased leather boots before, I don't know what to expect, but she did. She answered everything and I went with her recommendation. If you know me, you will know that I only wear Chucks or Vans, and anything the Navy says I have to wear. The navy has given ... I take that back... the navy hasn't given me anything free... in boot camp it's pretty exciting to get your uniforms issued... then You find out they docked that shit out of your first paycheck... anyway, the Navy has made me buy some boots that were okay for the job, but our comfort is not what's important. So with all that, this is seriously the first pair of boots I've ever bought for myself. Without a doubt, this is probably the best fitting shoe I've ever worn. It's sure to last a long time and I get to visit these folks every month to get my boots oiled up. (Which I intend to do, to make sure my boots live long). Yes they're a bit pricey, but I can pretty much already tell this boot will give me my money's worth. I also got a free pair of socks and MILITARY DISCOUNT!!!!! Go check them out if you're serious about boots. They aren't cheap, but applying the same rule for tattoos: Good tattoos aren't cheap. Cheap tattoos aren't good. This applies here too. If you're a dude rocking Aldo boots, you're making a huge mistake. Get a real boot and not that Sex in the city shit. Get RED WINGS!!! read more

I just had to say thanks for the tremendous service! One of my boots zipper detached so I brought it in to get replaced. These boots for sure were purchased over 3 years ago. They took both boots, replaced the zipper on one, treated and refurbished the leather. They almost looked brand new. This was all done for no charge. The courteous gentleman proceeded to thank me for my business. This is why I have purchased Red-Wing shoes for over 20 years! GREAT JOB!! read more

So needed some steel toe work boots BAD like my feet were getting destroyed everyday at work lol. So did some research and found Red Wings king toe boots aka my life saver! Jacob had really good customer service. For example I've never been to a shoe store where they've unlaced my boots, tied them on, and took them off it really does give a royalty treatment, hell I didn't even check the price because the service was one of a kind. But long story short my boots I bought are freakin AMAZING and I can actually work how I want to work without being in pain and my boots slowing me down. Expect great customer service. It's a tiny establishment, but it carries what it needs to help you pick out boots that will last you a lifetime (if they're the heritage series anyway...) They have a machine to measure feet size and sole options as well, which I enjoyed utilizing. read more

Purchased a pair of boots here a little over six months ago stitching on the heel is coming undone and the liner is coming loose on the inside. Brought in to have these items repaired and sales person only had time to explain to me what they couldn't do. Lesson learned, don't waste over $200 on a pair of these, Redwing is no longer making high quality footwear and will resist sending out to be repaired. Very disappointed. read more

The shoe store is like stepping back in time 30 years. The gentleman in the store is courteous and very knowledgeable of the products. Today I purchased a pair of high quality boots, and he patiently fit me in the best best boots I have ever purchased. Unlike other shoe stores, he did not push me to buy things I didn't need, like inserts socks and so on. Instead he told me to please come back for free polishing or repairs anytime. At the end of the transaction, he shook my hand and thanked me for my business. In a world of limited personal interaction and internet shopping and so on this store is a breath of fresh air. No pushy sales tactics and I never felt pressure to buy the "higher end" shoes. Great place to get your work shoes!! Jacob was really helpful and knowledgable, even when dealing with multiple customers at a time. You can tell the shoes are made well and the company stands behind their product. Good selection of both steel toe and soft toe shoes. They also have maintenance products to keep your shoes in tip top condition. When finding your perfect size they'll have you stand on a platform to show you were you distribute your weight and determine your size. They are absolutely not salesy at all!
