This place was so good! Everything was good. They mostly have fried items & a few others. So you go in and everyone greets you. It's so nice! They're all so friendly! The environment is so welcoming. They take your drink order & then you just take your time to look over the menu before pressing a button to order. We had the dduk bokki regular, bulgogi omurice, kimchi, rice and cheese over the bokki. Everything was amazing & so much food! We have leftovers for tomorrow from both plates. Prices are good, everything was under $30. They have TV's playing various shows and the decor is bright. Whenever you ring the bell for service, all the staff acknowledge it which is cool. They're in a strip with a ton of shops so there's a whole parking lot but it was pretty full today. We don't live out here but it's worth stopping by if you're in the area read more

I don't even have the words. Just get to Danji now! This was the best meal I've had in quite some time. I ordered the Bulgogi Fried Rice and Bulgogi Rice Pop for takeout. While waiting for my food inside the restaurant, I was eyeing every meal that came out to customers and everything looked so delicious. My meal was no exception. My order was ready in less than 15 minutes and was still piping hot once I got home. You can tell that the food is freshly made to order with high quality ingredients, and the portions are huge! This restaurant is amazing! I loved everything we tried and it was quite a lot. If you enjoy spicy Korean food then this place is for you. I had spicy chicken fried rice with the spicy yum yum sauce. It was a large portion and cooked perfectly. The tteokibokki was spicy and delicious. It was my first time having it. I would certainly order it again. We ordered the smaller sized serving but in combination with everything else it was more than plenty The seaweed with the noodles inside were flavorful and seasoned in a way that made we want more. If you are a little further out and up north, check out Danji in Buford, GA. They have really good Korean fried chicken and I believe I have heard the owners also own/used to own Thank U Chicken. The Fried Chicken here are fantastic! The meat was juicy and tender, the skin had excellent crispiness, and you get some pretty big pieces of drumsticks and wings too. I always get my flavor on the side just so I can keep the chicken crispy and control the flavor intensity throughout the whole meal, I dont like it when my food is drenched in sauce/flavoring. I also got the rice ball, which I PERSONALLY wouldn't get again just because it's overwhelming and a lot going on(steamed rice, soy sauce, mayo/house sauce). But if you like things like that, all power to you. If you go around 11am-3pm, they have a pretty good lunch combo pecial too. You can get fried chicken with waffles or fried rice and another price. DANJI came by complete surprise! I was simply looking for a place to service my Dyson vacuum and found myself hungry for lunch. Danji happened to be just a few doors over and I was in one of those moods where I didn't want anyplace familiar. After reading the information board posted outside the entry, they seemed to fit the bill. I ordered the Danji Wing lunch special which included fried rice, a salad and some sort of cheese/corn mixture. EVERYTHING was delicious and quite filling for the price! I also ordered the Danji Fries, and with that simple decision I discovered most likely my 2021 winner for favorite food find! THESE FRIES ARE FIYAAAH!!! Do they still say that? An amazing combination of flavors that just might spawn a MC HAMMER level happy dance! Without a doubt I will be returning here again, and again, and again. I had high hopes for this spot, but was surprised at how disappointing the experience could be. I'll start out with the positives, because normally I'm a positive reviewer and rarely feel like tearing a place apart. Pros- Fried chicken was good. We got the sweet garlic sauce, if you have kids it's a safe bet. Cons- Oh boy, where to start? The service was HORRIBLE! Took an hour and a half to have lunch and it wasn't busy. The server was mostly nonexistent and when she was present she was miserable. They brought out the wrong order and dropped and ran so fast didn't let us tell them, then no one ever came back to check on us so we were just sitting there waiting to be able to correct it. As I was eating the food, I crunched down on something hard that felt like glass and hurt my tooth bad, I thought I chipped it on whatever the mystery object was. I will include picture but our best guess is a piece of broken plate or something. Since no one ever came to check on us even after the second try at dropping off food, there was no one around to tell about it. Finally flagged down server to tell her and she was unconcerned. I wanted to tell her in case there was more broken pieces in that batch of food they could toss it and not serve it to someone else. My baby was eating that same food and if it had been his piece he could have chocked. It is hazardous. No one came and apologized, no attempt was made to correct the situation. Mistakes happen, kitchens are busy, but I've never worked at a restaurant that would still charge you for a dish that had a choking hazard in it. Also if your covid nervous don't eat here, they keep the plastic chopsticks unwrapped and all out in a dish on every table, like piles of them. Who knows who previously touched what. I was scared to use them. Lastly, the food is all very messy and sticky, which is fine, the sticky sauce is what made the chicken good, but if your going to serve sticky finger food, why do you not have wet wipe or even substantial napkins?! Their tiny cheap napkins just shred and stick to your hands. Thank goodness we had baby wipes since we have kids. We also got the loaded fries that said "melted cheese sauce" it's just shredded cheddar cheese on top, nothing to write home about and misrepresented on the menu. A year ago I gave this place a 5 star review and now if I could I would give this place no stars but I can't so here's your lucky one star. The last time we went we ordered tteokbokki and literally had 6 pieces of rice cake in it so you're telling me I paid however much it was for 6 pieces and this was for the regular size. Then the last time and the before they forgot to give us soy sauce for the kimmari. And we wanted boneless chicken but we got bone in.. Lastly, we ordered rice and it was crunchy as if it was sitting out cause it wasn't hot or warm either. It's literally pathetic and sad, because it's not just little things here and there but it's all the time now and if you read the most recent reviews they're all bad. Based on the previous yelp reviews, this place serves Korean snack foods. The menu is very similar to Dan Moo Ji in Duluth. While the food itself is not bad, I think Dan Moo Ji is much better. We got the chicken and waffles, omurice with chasu and the bulgolgo kimbob. The chicken is (five) pretty basic chicken wings but the sauce that comes with it is really good. It comes with a Belgian waffle and they put syrup on it and also offer some more syrup on the side. The lunch combo also comes with some cheese corn and a small salad with some dressing. The cheese corn did not have much flavor to it. The salad was just some lettuce with dressing and not memorable. Of the items we got, the omrice was probably the best overall dish. The rice itself was fried and flavorful. The chasu was on the fatty side but there were several pieces of it. The bulgolgi kimbob was my least favorite dish. It was fresh but very plain and not much flavor to it at all. The restaurant is located in a small plaza with parking. They offered samples to the group that came in after us but not to us. The samples were sitting in a little container at the hostess stand (the whole time) so I guess it could be lack of training. This place is not bad if you happen to be in the area. I tried this place out while in the area since I'm big on Korean food and the reviews seemed promising. When I walked in, the place had a calm but warm ambience and the two teenage boys running the register were quite personable. My strawberry lemonade was good and I was enjoying having the place to myself, but the food was not as I hoped. I ordered cheese gimbap and kimchi fried rice, and my gimbap came out first. I ordered cheese gimbap expecting gimbap with american cheese added in. This is a somewhat understood convention at other Korean restaurants I've been to. Cheese means cheese. However, it was actually gimbap with cream cheese, which I love on its own, but there was no indication on the menu board that "cheese" was referring to cream cheese. It was very tasty regardless. What I am disappointed with was the kimchi fried rice. It's another common dish at Korean restaurants and while each place is a bit different, there are certain flavors it should have: sour and spicy. What I got wasn't like that at all. The dish looked beautiful but was extremely bland. Like it legitimately tasted like nothing (?) which was a bit confusing. There was no sourness from the kimchi, no spiciness to detect, and no char on the rice at all. I didn't get any hints of sesame oil, another common ingredient in Korean food. Upon reflecting on how many fried rice dishes the menu offers, I realized that it is most likely made in bulk, set in a heater, and then scooped to serve. I think I was served premade fried rice that was just barely sauteed with the weakest kimchi I've ever tasted. Even the pieces of kimchi that I picked out to sample, thinking it might be a rice-kimchi ratio issue, had no bite or sourness to them. I understand adjusting some flavors to accommodate to a broad clientele, but serving flash fried rice with 5 pieces of red cabbage for $13 is disappointing. The restaurant has Korean variety shows related to food playing on the monitors (in full Korean with no subtitles), as well as promotional alcohol posters with Korean celebrity endorsements. I believe this is to give an "authentic" vibe to the restaurant, yet they fumbled such a staple food item as kimchi fried rice... I'm sure it tastes good to someone, but for more authentic-tasting Korean food, go somewhere else. read more

Limited parking available, it can get pretty busy during lunch and dinner rush right here since there are a lot of shopping areas close by. There is a good selection on the menu, a bit overwhelming because I wanted to try more things. Bulgogi rice ball: the taste was okay, a little too heavy on the sauce/flavoring. You can choose between regular rice ball or pop rice ball (which is deep fried) Spicy kimbob: this was my favorite dish. It was actually spicy, borderline of too spicy. But paired with the fish cake udon and coffee it was perfect! Iced coffee: not the best coffee I've had, but it was okay. The flavor profile is a bit lacking. Cup bokki: perfect for if you want to try the rice cake but don't want to commit to the larger portion. Not as spicy, my son could eat it after I rinsed it in the miso soup. Fish cake udon: very standard, but paired well with the spicier dishes. Noodles were nice and chewy and plenty of fish cakes in there. Curious to go back and try more dishes! read more

I've been here a handful of times and I actually really do like this place. The kimbap rolls are big, the flavors on the Korean fried chicken (KFC) are tasty, and the clear soup they give at the beginning of your meal is a nice touch. That being said, almost every time I've gotten KFC...when I get down to the bone, I notice it's still slightly bloody and undercooked. Of course I would notice when I almost finish it...but luckily I didn't get sick. The last time I ordered it and requested it redone, they took that one single piece back and got me a new piece...which was still undercooked and bloody to my disappointment. I got 15% off my check along with my whole party. They tried, I guess, but it wasn't enough. Also sometimes the potatoes are underdone, so it's hit or miss with that too. That was the last time I will ever order chicken from here. So please watch out if you order KFC. That's why I gave 2 stars off. But I will continue to come for the kimbap and other stuff since it's the only Korean spot in the area and the prices are affordable. read more

We love this place but unfortunately the last two visit I had the orders were incorrect. We tend to order out from this restaurant. The first time, I did not contact them, because I thought.... It is not a big deal. The other night we ordered from here for my daughter's dinner choice for her birthday. We ordered ~$100 in food and when we arrived home two of the orders were incorrect. We called and the first thing we were asked is if we placed the order correctly. One thing that I like about ordering from here is when you call to order, they always repeat the order back to you. So, yes.... I ordered correctly and you confirmed my order. Then she said, well it looks like you were not charged for the food they forget. Welp.... That is not my concern, as the food I ordered, I fully expected to pay for. She offered to let us have what was missed on another day or come back. Because it was my daughter's birthday we choose to go back out to pick it up. I understand that mistakes happen, and we will be back. I will just make sure to check the order prior to leaving the restaurant. Food has been great with all our previous visits but tonight the food and service was not great. Bulgogi meat tasted old and had an uncooked taste to it. It wasn't just one dish, it was all our dishes that had bulgogi. The ramen was very watered down and bland as well. Furthermore our drinks were not refilled and the server walked passed our table several times and didn't care to refill even though he saw it was empty. We had to bring our drinks to the front to refill. I could be more understanding if it was busy but it was not. Really good for everyone who IS NOT vegan . My husband and my 16 year old LOVED this place. They ordered a chicken fried rice, fried veggie dumplings, chicken wings, and iced coffee. They loved everything, and loved the big portions. They were able to share, and still bring food home. For me, however, (I am vegan) there was nothing . We finally made our way out here and got to try it. We ordered way too much food on purpose. Everything was quite tasty, but I can recap: Fish Cake soup - comes free, a big bowl of soup that makes everything better (though it's a bit salty) Danji Ddukbokgee - Spicy rice cake. This was on point. Delicious, lots of sauce, great for dipping other food. Tuna Kimbop with Cheese - Pretty good, I'm not a huge fan of creamcheese in kimbop but the others liked it Jjolmyun - pretty huge portion complete with 2 extra mandoo (dumpling) Bokem Mandoo - I didn't realize when we ordered it but it's basically just like Jjolmyun but with 6 mandoo instead of 2, and no noodles. Same assortment of vegetables and sauce - pretty tasty. The mandoo are really good Tonkatsu Omurice - The omurice was quite tasty, but the tonkatsu had too much sauce - I like the sauce separate so I would ask for that. It was a bit soggy from the getgo. Buffalo Wings - not buffalo style at all, but tasty nonetheless. French Fries - pretty standard, wasn't a huge fan All in all we had a delicious meal, overall I loved the experience and I would come back and try other dishes. read more

I ordered the following dishes: - bulgogi rice pop: I was a bit disappointed by this one, it didn't have a lot of flavor. - bulgogi fries: huge portion, they are seasoned fries topped with bulgogi, cheese and a creamy sauce. Very heavy but full of flavor. - tuna cheese kimbap: light and delicious! - sweet chili fried chicken: the sauce is delicious! I will probably order the wings next time as the breast pieces can be a bit dry. The food was delicious but Keep in mind that the portions are very generous. Ok. I am no Korean food aficionado. I'll admit it. I've been to a few Korean restaurants. That's it. That being said, I frickin love this place! This is a Korean fusion restaurant so if you are looking for the old world 200 little bowls, this isn't it. They have the staple Korean flavors, but a more modern menu. My daughter got the Dumpling Ramen. Great broth, instant noodles, and egg and all the usual ramen suspects, except they added three big fried dumplings. The dumplings were crispy, yet soft and had great flavor. We all shared the Bulgolgi fries. Get these if you go. Thank me later. You're welcome. These things were amazing. It is beef bulgogi on top of crisp, yet soft fries, with cheese and what I think is yum yum sauce or some version of it. Simply amazing! We also tried the spicy bulgogi (I know we'll get something besides bulgogi next time!) kimbob which was like a sushi roll. It was good, but could have used a sauce because it was a little dry. The last thing we got was the kimbibi (so?). Basically rice with vegetables and a fried egg on top. This too was amazing. Veggies were fresh and crisp. It came with a spicy sauce which I liked but the wife didn't care for. Still a pretty epic dish. On top of all the great food, the staff there was really friendly. They have a button on the table to call the staff over but we only used it to order as they came around regularly to check on us. I like them. I don't come often because they are pretty pricey and their menu to me as a Korean is not as diverse as I want, but their food is good. I've had the bbq pork omurice, bulgogi omurice, and the chicken omurice that comes with a nice soup. All of them had a great flavor, but their bulgogi was pretty plain. It also comes with a nice mixed salad and a cold corn salad that I'm not crazy about. I just think corn and cheese together should be served warm not cold..definitely a lot of food for the price though. I've also tried their tuna balls and bulgogi balls, nothing crazy..wouldn't order in the future. Their Korean iced coffee is like crack to me. Every time I go and I tell myself not to order, I always get it. The service is great too! Along with the atmosphere and decor. Definitely recommend! read more

Beware of spice though- if you're sensitive to spice make sure to ask for something lower on the heat scale. Service was also superb. I was completely impressed. I loved that they had Korean street foods, casual & comfort Korean foods. I was provided with the fish cake stew which is delicious, I love having broth with my food! I ordered Tuna Rice Balls, Garlic Cheese Chicken & Bulgogi Kimbap. The serving sizes were HUGE. I mean, this was the largest kimbap i've ever seen! (see photos!) I was full after two tuna rice balls, but everything was so delicious I couldn't stop eating! Note: I dined inside. All of the servers were wearing masks & hand sanitizer was provided at the table. Seems like the building used to be another chain, but they took it over & created a great concept! I am someone who never complains unless it needs to be. Just left this place super upset with a bitter taste in my mouth. We were trying to have a family dinner with my kids and ended up leaving disappointed. After this evening I will NOT be coming back. I order cheese tteokbokki and bulgogi fried rice and paid $40+ for these 2 orders. Then watching the young Korean server girl and young Korean server boy flirt with each was disgusting which they should do after hours or at least not in front of the customers. If they have time to play maybe they should check on the customers at their table to see if anyone needs a refill on their drinks and how their food is tasting which is common sense especially if you are asking to be tipped upon ordering. Coming from a family owed restaurant business for over 40 years and a hospitality degree customer service is definitely a plus for me. The cheese tteokbokki came out looking good, but we were trying to pace ourselves so we can eat it with our bulgogi fried rice. A young couple comes in 10 minutes or so after we been served our cheese tteokbokki but as soon as they sit down they get served a bulgogi fried rice. Thinking to myself did that young Korean server girl give our food away. So I follow her up to the counter and asked if our bulgogi fried rice was coming as we haven't gotten it yet and she said they are still making it. Tell me how the young couple next to us got a bulgogi fried rice when they just placed an order and now got to their seat???? By now the cheese tteokbokki is getting cold and my kids are asking about the bulgogi fried rice. Waiting another 10 min or more the young Korean server girl brings out the bulgogi fried rice and says I am sorry as this is going to fix my meal. I asked her for a box since now why would I want to eat the bulgogi fried rice with my cold cheese tteokbokki. Isn't it basic 101 to bring out customer's food at the same time or try to serve around the same time and not one 1st and then serve me the rest 30 minutes later. Then yet serve someone who just walked in the same food and tell me mine is still being worked on. Thank you but no thank you. It's one thing if the place is super busy which I would understand but it is not ok if the 2 severs have time flirting with each other but yet I paid $40+ for 2 plate of food that I couldn't even enjoy.
