Went here today 8/26/17, during the storm. Called them to inquire info, 23 for haircut, 15-20 weight (got there and Waited about 4 min for my turn)-awesome. Overall, I'm very picky about trying new barbershops-this place was phenomenal; was greeted by the concierge; Shannon, the stylist, did an exceptional job. This Place is kid and teen friendly of you have little ones (they have Netflix for kids, pool table, chess, etc). The shop was very clean, great ambiance, friendly staff, and amazing atmosphere. We were looking for a good, reasonably priced barber to get our boys' hair cut. I went to the grand opening Saturday. The place is awesome, you just want to hang out, it is upscale in decor, but not stodgy or over-priced. They have multiple tv screens, lush sofas, a pool table and shuffle board. I had Jessica do my hair in a relaxed beach wave look. It turned out beautiful. She is a sweetheart. She has gentle hands, so it's relaxing. I recommend this shop and Jessica, you won't be disappointed. I went to Danny's because of the wonderful reviews. I walked in around 3:30pm and was seen immediately. The woman that cut my hair didn't introduce herself to me, so I don't know her name. She did, however, wear a tight black dress and an excessive amount of make-up. To be clear, this particular statement isn't a judgement on her per se, rather a description of her appearance. Bottom line. I will never, ever go back. Ever. The woman was incompetent and apparently deaf, because what I asked her to do and what she did couldn't be more different. I asked for the top to be left alone, it was cut by an inch and a half. I asked for tapered sides, but I got one length all the way around. She did however manage to cut a line diagonally from just above both sideburns, right down to the skin. I asked for a natural fade to the back, I got a razor shaved, hard straight cut. I specifically stated that the top shouldn't be cut below a certain length in the back, because I have a cowlick. She instead cut right to it― about an inch higher than I specified. Further, I also told her not to cut above a specific point on the sides of my head. Again, about an inch higher. I'm sure a small portion of this could have been prevented had she actually let me face the mirror instead of the center of the room. Not once did I even see a mirror until the end of the haircut, at which point I was so taken aback at the disaster that was my hair, I could do nothing other than leave as soon as possible. Had I stayed any longer, I'm not sure what I would have done or said. Profanity would have been used. So now my choices are cut my hair to one length all the way around, or wear hats. Danny, I can't speak to the quality of work done by yourself and your other employees. I can, however, tell you that I hope that the rest of your staff doesn't handle your clientele with this level of incompetence. Sadly, I won't be returning to find out. read more

Recently moved to Austin from California, couldn't find a barber shop like in Cali.. my son needed a hair cut . A comb over with a hard part , called went in about 15 mins later . Front desk very nice signed in was called 10 minutes later . My sons hair can't out great was very excited so was my son . Our barber was very nice and knowledgeable, when I asked his name so I could take my son back . I was told his name was Danny the owner lol ! Great job , fast and professional. Great place to get your hair cut. As a new veteran(just got out of the Army) I can really appreciate a place where they support the troops. The military cuts are great and they have plenty to do while you wait. The staff seemed very friendly and the female who did my haircut was thorough and patient, not leaving any jacked up spots like some of the places on base would. A little steeper financially then what I am used to but for what comes with it in terms of service and entertainment, well worth it. read more

By far the best barber shop I have ever been to! Danny is extremely competent and professional, listens to his customers well and willing to make adjustments on the rare times something is missed. He is fast and very efficient, not sloppy at all. He cares about his customers' needs and is appropriate in developing relationships with them. I have been a customer of his for 10 years and have never waited in his shop for more than 20 minutes - usually less than 10 minutes. My barber was lazy, Boring and just plain didn't give a shit about wether or not I was happy with my cut. I was so ready to get out of this guys chair. He was the first chair on the right when you walk in. Stood at the front for about 5 minutes with the barbers just staring at me (front desk person was no where to be found) here's a tip: acknowledge a customer when they walk in. Tell me what's going on. Doesn't just start looking around for the guy. It's easy to say "hey man we'll be right with you". But I guess that's what I should expect from a REAL barber shop. This, is 100% not a barbershop this is merely a crappy local 'great clips'. My hair was dripping wet when I walked out. My neck shave was absolutely SHIT. my trim beard was absolutely SHIT. But again, I should expect these things from a crap ass place. Will not be going back ever ever ever again. read more

First time. Got me in quick on a Friday. Great location and inside has that old school feel. Looks like a barber shop should. I asked for a taper and 2 inch cut on top with texture. Junior did my cut and did an excellent taper. Listened to what I wanted and delivered. Definitely going back. Started getting my haircut by Danny at his other shop "Cedar Park Barber & Beauty". This place is a must stop by. Best looking barbershop I've ever seen and all of the barbers are well rounded. Ladies don't be intimidated there are 2 women that always have customers lined up. It's a very friendly atmosphere. The clippers have attached vacuums so no need to worry about hair all over you. They work as good as they sound. There's couches to lounge in and a kids area where once cable is set up I'm sure will have non stop cartoons. The prices are a bit higher than normal. read more

Danny's is a very warm and welcoming, upscale barbershop I only recently heard about. I don't live in Cedar Park but I happened to be down there today and decided to stop in after hearing such good things about it. Expectations most definitely exceeded. The atmosphere is wonderful and you can tell that the whole place has been done with extreme care and professionalism; from the actual building right down the wonderful employees they hire. I had my hair cut by a lovely woman named Shannon who was very conversational and gave me exactly what I asked for. A lot of places I've been to have people who don't ask me the right questions that allow me to convey clearly what I want with my hair (I'm totally clueless when it comes to it anyways) but Shannon knows her craft well and I was beyond satisfied. Will definitely be coming back here regardless of the drive. Danny's does it right. 10/10 recommend. read more
