Came here today for lunch. I was craving the hanger streak,, decided order it along with a side of Brussel sprouts, asked for my steak medium the first three slices were good as I got to the middle and end those pieces were not so medium. They were very over cooked and super dry and there wasn't enough chimichurri, I was disappointed. I hate sending food back and I was super hungry, I was also in a rush so I just kept eating. The Brussel sprouts were very flavorless just very bland, they could've used some caramelization or flavor. Wish it would've been a better experience. Service: I guess if you're not a regular or local you don't get the best of the staff. That's all I will say about that. I have more but don't want to make it a big deal of it. What we paid. $100 for two meals, two beers, a shot of mezcal, and a sparkling water, and one side. read more

Changing my rating to 5 stars. I've been here a bunch of times this year and the service has been solid. This is my go-to spot whenever I'm looking for comfort food or craving a burger. Burgers 10/10: Always juicy and flavorful, with great ingredients and buns. Fries 10/10: They have the best fries in town. Crispy outside without being hard, perfectly soft on the inside, and not oily at all. I'm talking about their regular fries, but their garlic parmesan fries are great too. Fish & Chips: 6/10 The fish tastes good, but the two times I've ordered it, it's been pretty oily. Maybe I just had bad luck as I rarely order them. House beers: 9/10 They have some great house beers. 925 Blonde, Chux Dipa, and their Danville pilsner are all great. read more

I went here with a couple of my friends last week, and we had the best time! The food was amazing, I got the money burger and it was probably one of the best burgers I've had in my life. The bacon on the burger is incredible. The beer is also really good, I got a CHUX which I really enjoyed, it reminded me of Pliny the Elder. My friends both got a 925 blonde and they also really enjoyed their beers. The service was good and everyone was friendly. They keep in nice and cool inside which is nice for the hot summer days. Came here to watch the 49er game. They have over 15 taps and everything tastes great. You can even buy beer Togo in their Danville brewing cans. We started with the pretzel bites and calamari. The pretzel bites were delicious! The calamari was just so-so. I would order the pretzel bites again and add mustard on the side. The beer cheese was yummy! We had the money burger, a few fried chicken sandwiches, and a Fuji melt. I personally had the Fuji melt and added bacon but it came without bacon. Nonetheless, the Fuji melt tasted great! I also had truffle Parmesan fries on the side which could have been crispier but still great! No complaints from the crew about their money burger and fried chicken sandwiches. Another fantastic visit at Danville Brewery. Started off having drinks at the bar. Lexi was behind the bar. She is super friendly and a great attitude. She also remembers what her customers like to drink which is big for me. Then we sat down to have food. Louie was our server. 2nd time we've had him. He is beyond on top of things and very friendly. He makes sure you're happy and that you don't have an empty glass. The atmosphere is great very clean. Love everything about this place inside and outside seating you can see them brewing their own beer inside. I'd like the fact that you can buy your own beer and that you can buy clothing. This restaurant is right in the heart of downtown Danville. After lunch, you can browse all the cute boutiques nearby. If you've never been to Danville, you are in for a treat. This is one of the cutest towns around. I wish I lived here! I'm going to check with my wife today and see if it's okay if we sell our house and move here. We thought parking would be tough, but there were spaces available in the nearby free parking lot. No charge for parking here! We arrived a little before lunch, so we had a selection of either outside or inside seating. We were promptly greeted when we arrived, and escorted to a table of our choice. Our server, Melinda, was helpful in explaining the various choices. I ordered barbecue salmon, and my wife got the salmon bowl. My salmon was cooked to perfection, with tasty mashed potatoes on the side. The barbecue sauce was a little tangy, which was fine. My wife also enjoyed her salmon bowl. However, she had them hold the olives. My wife hates olives. Honestly, I think the barbecued salmon is a superior selection--especially if you like mashed potatoes. If you are looking for a small dish, however, the bowl is a good choice. I can still taste my BBQ salmon! Special thanks to the friendly bartender, Mark, who explained the various beer selections. I described what type of beer I enjoy, and Mark immediately provided some suggestions. That's what I call A+ service! Where in the world do they find these people? Springtime in beautiful Danville. The food here is really, REALLY good. Everything I've had has been excellent and I've visited this place a few times. Yesterday my husband and I shared the fig and goat cheese flatbread. It was yum-O. We've had it several times and it is consistent and flavorful! For the entree my husband had the fried chicken sandwich and it was absolutely delicious! It is loaded with flavor and spice as well as a textural delight. The chicken was fried nice and crunchy and the inside was moist and tender. I had a bite, of course, so I could attest to its deliciousness. :-) My entree was the ahi poke bowl. It's my favorite thing! It satisfies my craving for spice and health all at the same time! I do wish they offered a brown rice option as well as the white rice; but the white rice is a sticky rice and it's totally appropriate for this dish. The only thing that bugs me is the service. Getting them to acknowledge you when you sit down is a challenge. Several times we've been there and it takes a bit to be acknowledged. We also had to ask for someone to take our drink order, had to ask for silverware and had to mention to the server that our flatbread was ready as we could see it sitting there waiting to be picked up by the server. I can understand if they were super busy but I could see all the servers congregated at the bar multiple times enjoying a chat so that was disappointing. Five of us met there for lunch. Pleasantly surprised to see a busy humming place on a Thursday. They don't take reservations, but no problem in being seated immediately. We ordered Shishito peppers and a Chicken Caesar salad to share. The peppers were a little too oily but delicious. The salad was good. For our meals we ordered burgers, patty melt and fish and chips. All the servings were pretty big, and in hindsight, we should have shared these too. We asked for extra crisp fries (regular & Truffle) and they were perfect. The fried fish left the diners wanting. Our server, Joseph, was friendly and efficient. Prices are reasonable. The passage to the bathrooms, bathroom doors etc. badly need freshening. Highly recommend. read more

They offer curbside pickup but when I arrived, all street parking was taken, so I opted for the lot across the street and walked in. The IPAs and Hazy Double weren't too bitter and the latter wasn't as hazy as I presumed. I'm not very much into Blondes, but it was light and at a very good price point. Overall, easy-to-drink beers. Food is decent. The Money Burger is a highlight. (Add the billion dollar bacon to anything you can) Eaten a here a lot over the years (atleast 10-15 times). And I always leave disappointed in the service quality. Servers are never attentive and everything from drinks to food routinely takes a long time to reach the table. It doesn't seem to be a staffing issue because it's the same whether it's busy/slow/weeekday/weekend. Just a consistent lack of servers seeming to care. I'll probably be back just for the money burger. But every other part of the experience is pretty meh. read more

We had a great time overall. They accommodated us and my toddler and our waitress was stellar! She was very nice and let us try different taps. The beer was decent here, and the location is great and easy with no fees for parking. My gripes are these: 1) we ordered the squash bruschetta which came to us on a stale baguette! We held a wedding rehearsal dinner for 25 guests at Danville Brewing and had the BEST experience. The General Manager Max Brown was a dream to work with and accommodated all of our needs, and our servers were fantastic as well. Breweries often don't have great food or cocktails, but Danville Brewing is the exception. Everyone raved about their meals and drinks, and there are lots of options for childrens' meals as well. Everything was delicious, but my favorites were the lemon drop cocktail, the flatbreads and the Reuben sandwich. Lately I have been a three tries B, cause I know my first time tries haven't been supreme dreams. This is my third time trying this place over the last couple of months. I love their chicken wings, but the second time I ordered them they made them extra crispy, like I asked. The first time I ordered a Cesar salad I asked for "no chicken" they added the chicken. The bartenders Courtney and Lanre are amazing human beings and I would pay to visit them at any restaurants. Very kind, charming, and personable people. The third bartender I had, when I asked if she could remove some of the head of my beer she came back with "the head is usually 25% of the beer". Am I the customer or not? And when my glass is 7 inches, is she really telling me that 2 whole inches should be foam. And I don't want to brag about how much beer I drink, but I feel like she straight up lied, I have never seen so much head in my life. This is a training issue and needs to be addressed my management. Poo poo platter!!! I closed out my tab and canceled the rest of my food. The menu has a wide variety of appetizers, salads, burgers, main dishes and kids' options. They also have a couple of desserts to choose from. The salmon was good. Two pieces on a giant serving of squash. I love veggies but that was a lot of veggies. The Brussels sprouts were delicious! It was seasoned just right and I love how crispy it was. The avocado toast was okay. It was on a piece of sliced sandwich bread. Basically was like guacamole on bread. My daughter ordered the Mac and cheese and loved it! Her friend ordered the Loco Moco. My friend and I recently visited Danville Brewing Company on Halloween this past weekend. Upon walking in we were immediately greeted by the host. We were asked for proof of our vaccination cards, and we were able to provide them. We requested to sit at the bar, since we wanted to watch the Warriors game, and our request was granted with no issues. The restaurant has a good selection of draft beers brewed locally. We ordered the following dishes: fish and chips, gouda and bacon burger, and the chocolate chip cookie a la mode. 1. Fish and Chips: Always a safe choice to pick. The fish was fresh and cooked crispy and not too soggy. The fries were also really good, and I enjoyed the meal overall. 2. Gouda and Bacon Burger: This was what my friend ordered. I was able to taste it and the burger was cooked medium as requested. We added avocado, which added texture and flavor to the burger. The aioli sauce added extra flavor to the burger and tasted very good. The fries were consistent with the fish and chips. 3. Chocolate Chip Cookie A La Mode: The dessert menu was not very large, it had about three items on the menu. The cookie was slightly harder than preferred but still good. I would have also liked if the cookie was a little warmer. The vanilla ice cream paired well with the cookie and we left satisfied. Overall, I would highly recommend this COVID safe restaurant. The service was great, the environment is family friendly, and although the menu is much like a bar menu, the food is very good. I will definitely go back to Danville Brewing! read more
