    Really good value Happy Hour!
    Marlene B.

We just got bicycles and Danville Brewing is about 8 miles from our home in San Ramon on the Iron Horse Trail. We could see our bicycles from the bar stools inside the restaurant. Very important if you have had a bicycle or scooter taken. Close to the trail it's a yummy goal after a good workout. The air conditioning was really nice! The Happy Hour Menu is well-priced. Only $8.00's for a filling snack. Loved the sliders! It was my first time having a Huckleberry Cider. It was good but it was 8%. I only made it through half the glass. I still needed to ride home . Thank you for having us!

This place is still top notch! Lexi, the bartender is fantastic! The girl knows how to balance and substitute all kinds of cocktails plus she's friendly and attentive! The food here is awesome, a great balance of healthy options vs bar food. Love this place!

There's a large parking lot right across the street from Danville brewing which is really convenient. I walked in and was promptly greeted by the hostess who took myself and my friend to seating. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. I ordered the Rizz drink and it came out quick and tasted good. I'd say the prices are average to other places, which unfortunately means it's is about $19-23 for a sandwich/burger meal. I split a Reuben with my friend and it was massive and filling for two people. I think Danville brewing is a good place to go for casual dining and delicious food. They do a have a happy hour but unfortunately I didn't get to try it because of the day I went.

Another dinner here with friends while in town for business. This place is great, good decor, good food, good service - just a bit loud with all the happy people! We were seated right away (four of us) and our server Jeff quickly brought us water and took some drink orders. We ordered some appetizers and some entrees as well. These included a bacon grilled cheese (hold the bacon!) with a bowl of cheddar broccoli soup, a salmon sandwich, a paleo bowl, Ahi nachos, an Ahi Tuna burger (garlic fires for a side), a buttermilk fried chicken, house made pretzel bites, and Shishito peppers - two orders, please! The food was delivered in a timely manner, and with the apps first and hot. The Shishito peppers are delicious and were ginormous this time! They came with a cherry pepper aioli that had a kick to it! The pretzel rolls, soft and not too chewy, were well salted and did great with the cheese (DBC beer cheese) dipping sauce. Yummy. The Ahi nachos (Ahi poke, pico de gallo, avocado cream, horseradish cream, taro chips) were different. The taro chips were not everyone's favorite, but the overall taste and texture of the dish was great. For the mains, the burger was very good, as well as the salmon sandwich. The grilled cheese was good, with tasty cheeses (gouda, cheddar, habanero jack - had a slight heat to it!) and crispy grilled sourdough bread. The soup was thick and tasty, and very hot, like I like it. The paleo bowl (with choice of chicken breast, beef or turkey patty 18 choice of hanger steak ,salmon, ahi, or Beyond patty 20 served with farmer's seasonal vegetables) was well constructed and full. Overall, the food was great, and the service very good, and we shall return.

Update: we have come here so many times since (wife has been on a "beer and wings" kick and loves their chicken wings) and the slower service was an outlier. Every other time we have gone has been fantastic service!

Stopped by on a Friday night for some beers and snacks before dinner. The place is large with a ton of seating inside and out. We sat outside because we had the dogs with us. The service was good minus the issue of them never turning the heater in for us after we asked them multiple times as it was freezing outdoors. They have an extensive beer menu to choose from: we opted to make a flight and also share some fries and pretzel bites. Everything came out super quick. The pretzel bites were delicious. They were pillowy soft and warm. The garlic fries were crispy and so garlicky good. All of the beers we tried were good. I loved Why cant we be fiends. So good!

This is just a tiny piece of the corned beef hash, topped with an overeasy egg.

Food: DBC has a nice menu which is able to satisfy different palates. Their salads have different protein options which you can add into some. We tried the corned beef hash. The egg was cooked to our request and the corned beef hash is definitely location made. There are french fries under the hash which are cooked crisp to soak the flavors without getting soggy. They have a nice beer selection which changes regularly. Staff: the host is attentive and you are quickly greeted, then seated. Our waitress was very helpful for menu selection and she kept out water glasses filled. Location: a large parking lot is barely 2 buildings away and there is street parking. You can later walk off your meal asking the downtown if Danville.

Pretty laid back place to have a drink outside on a lazy afternoon. Staff was great - frequently checked up on us to see if we needed anything. Happy hour on Mon - Fri starting at 3pm. The beers were fantastic and so were the nachos (tacos were a bit lackluster but still okay). The outdoor seating was dog friendly as well as a lot of people bring their pups. Overall, a good place to have a chat while sipping on a beer or two.

Danville brewing is one of our go-to places when we want good food, friendly servers, relaxed vibe, clean, and even outdoor seating. From the tables you can see the brewing tanks albeit we have never been there where we saw staff making the brews. The appetizers and "burgers" are all good. We do t eat much beef but do like "burgers" that have fish or other ingredients. The restaurant is clean and nicely organized You can come here as a group if needed. We strongly recommend you give them a try.

The ambiance is great, very inviting, very friendly staff. However, I wasn't very impressed with my food. The chicken sandwich was extremely spicy. I don't think I've ever had a spicy sandwich that hot, and I tend to like spice. However the waiter was very good about returning my plate and fixing my order. They have great drinks & a full bar. Dogs are also allowed outside!

Second visit here - had been looking forward to it and it didn't disappoint but was not quite as good as my previous visit - the beer was the saving grace! Out server was nice but I think she was a little overwhelmed with too many tables - my husband had wanted to order another drink and some wings but it took so long for anyone to come to our table, we were cold and had stacked plates so did not want to wait anymore - she was however super nice to realize we were on the cusp of happy hour and get our appetizer orders in. The IPA flight was delicious- they make some fantastic beers and it is a very good slight with 6 generous pours!! We enjoyed the Shishito peppers which were fantastic , crispy Brussels sprouts - also good and the poke nachos - these badly needed some heat and a tad more seasoning and I not sure yucca chips work as though they taste great, half of them were just too soggy to enjoy! Great beers and atmosphere, some good bites and some were a miss but would still absolutely return!

Came alone during happy hour around 5pm. Decent amount of people nice vibes slightly loud but I cant remember if there was music in the background. Joshua was my server very nice, and helpful. Because I was so indecisive he recommended the Mexican lager, seared fish tacos (messy but I like it, just a perfect amount of spice) and I got some onion rings. All were great in my opinion especially for happy hour prices. Tacos were not happy hour but it's fine. The food smelt great that people ordered around me if I'm ever in town again I will try other options only if I can get Joshua as my server again !

While we haven't been buying many guests' kegs recently as our tap list has been full of our own beers. We do support Canyon Club and wish them nothing but the best, along with all of our other local craft breweries.

Pros - Friendly cashier, good assortment of beer and ciders, dog-friendly…read more Neutral - Loud music outside. Cons - No employee approached a male dog owner over his pit bull excessively howling / yelping over another dog. A couple yelps, fine. It kept going, it was loud, the silver-haired Boomer was taking his sweet time to ( not ) control his dog with respect to other people in the patio area. So, dogs are preferred over people, no one on staff to politely ask the man to control the dog immediately? One more thing: the barking was such a nuisance that I and another customer were looking back at the owner to see if he was taking care of it, the customer quipped about the dog going to be attacking him, if anything, I joked that I'd be fine, he then suddenly held up the numbered signage for his order ( w/ metal stand ) saying he was going to hit me with it. ( No light-hearted tone, moreso irritated and aggressive. ) And this is how suddenly bad things happen, how a customer spews out a verbal threat ( technically criminal assault ), linked to an out-of-control situation with a pet owner and his dog and a restaurant that won't do anything about it. Simple Solution: Train employees ( or remind them ) to assertively and cordially request owners to keep their dogs peaceful and quiet. Otherwise, it's sweeping a problem under the rug. Not smart nor respectful of other customers. Being Fair: If you like the energy of a loud restaurant, whether it's music and/or dogs barking, then you should be fine, drinks and all. If you love dogs, yet want them responsibly controlled in an environment where you seek to maintain an actual meaningful conversation, this establishment is a roll of the dice.

There are literally signs telling people to stay out of certain areas, yet kids were running all over the newly planted plants like it was recess. Look, I have nothing against kids, but a brewery is not a playground. If your kids need somewhere to sprint, climb, yell, and run laps, there are plenty of actual playgrounds nearby. Take them to Pixieland or COPA across the street and let them burn off some energy there. And maybe keep an eye on them while you're enjoying your beer... because watching two adults drink while their kids are running around unsupervised is not exactly the "relaxed afternoon" I came here for.
