Got seated. Waited 15 minutes and no one ever came to help, so we left. Servers everywhere but all of them ignored our table.

We enjoyed a wonderful lunch with friends out on the patio. We were seated quickly and asked for our drink orders shortly after. I opted for a flight to be able to sample a few of their beers. Their flight comes with six beers (you can pick their pre-selected flight or pick your own). I decided to pick my own. The menu has a little something for everyone ranging from appetizers, hardy salads, sandwiches, and mains. I had the fried chicken sandwich with a side salad. The sandwich had amazing flavor and the chicken was tender and juicy. My fiancé had the Tuna burger which he enjoyed and found a good sized portion. Our server had the perfect balance of checking in on us and allowing us time to catch up with our friends. We will definitely be back to try some more bites and beverages. read more

Came on a weeknight around 5:30 not too busy. It was a nice surprise. Had been avoiding this place as I heard beers were not that great but my IPA was good and we enjoyed our meal here. Glad I decided to finally try this place I would return. Tried to come again recently on a Friday at 5:15 and the place was completely full. No tables and I needed to meet my elderly father so too chilly to sit outside. That was too bad we had to go elsewhere. Wouldn't have been good anyway the place was loud as hell. My work decided to go here for a late lunch two months ago around 2:30pm. We had reservations and opted for outdoor seating. Unfortunately, this time around we didn't order any appetizers. My co-workers ordered the BLT sandwich, salad, fish and chips, salmon sando and etc. They also ordered some drinks too but I just opted for some water. I ended up ordering the seared fish tacos. Easy to find and close to parking, Danville Brewing was the perfect stop for a bite to eat and a brew or two. I'll start with the beer. They have a flight available - six five-ounce pours. There are only six beers available for the flight so there's no picking or choosing. I was a bit surprised, but it sure made ordering the flight easy. The beers were definitely tasty. It took a while for me to work my way around the 'six pack'. I enjoyed them, but wanted something different to finish up. I ordered one of the guest brews - a grapefruit sour (or something like that). It had a heck of a tang and was delicious! Recommended choice. Next, our waiter. He was very knowledgable about the beers. He was also excellent at making recommendations and helping us avoid mistakes. My friends both wanted to try a bourbon sour something or another. The guy said he did not recommend it... rather emphatically, but he didn't stop there. He brought out a sample for them to taste and make up their own minds. They were of the same mind and were very glad they didn't order a glass. He also made fantastic food recommendations. Mark got the el Poblano Burger - cilantro aioli, creamy chipotle, little gems, grilled onions, roasted poblano, and pepperjack cheese with garlic parmesan fries. The fries were good and he devoured his burger. Our friend got the Fried Chicken Sandwich - buttermilk fried Rocky Jr chicken, white cheddar, sliced tomato, sliced red onion, little gems, spicy sriracha aioli, dill pickle aioli. He said it was real good and ate every bite. I had the Hawaiian Ahi Poke - mixed cabbage, spring mix, carrots, roasted pineapple salsa, crispy taro strips, grilled scallion-soy dressing. It was very good, though it did have a bit of a kick. I had to look at the menu again to see if I should have been expecting that kick, but nothing in the description jumped out at me. Still, it was tasty and light. There was a lot of tuna and I enjoyed every bite. If we find ourselves in Danville again, we will definitely come back. read more

Normally everyone is on it, but a couple times we have been there and feel kind of abandoned if you get a table on the side adjoining Peasant and the Pear. Cmon guys, if you seat us outside, send somebody out there to take our drink order within a reasonable time. The burgers here are really good, totally competes with Norms a street over. I love the 925 ale, reminds me of Cal Poly SLO and the 805. Fish and chips are pretty good, and if you ask for your fries extra crispy, they come out just awesome with some nice surface crunch. The food here is great....I'm just bummed with the service sometimes like the other day we ordered the pretzel bites and a burger and they showed up at the same time, and its obvious the pretzel bites had been sitting under the heat lamp for a while. Danville Brewing is a restaurant I've been meaning to try out recently. We were surprised by a lot of things, namely their great food and the sheer amount of people hanging out here. It was more cramped than intimate. People were clearly judging our conversations most of the dinner. As a rule of thumb, their food is really solid. Wings were a good price for the number you get, and are definitely above average. Money Burger was downright delicious, but I would have probably been just as satisfied with their other less expensive burgers. With an egg it pushed the burger close to $20. If you are Lactose Intolerant, do absolutely not have the Gouda. It provides that cheesy delicious element, but you will regret it. All in all Danville Brewing is a great spot to hang out with family and friends if you're in the downtown area. read more

I recommend if you aren't too into the beer scene to still drop by since their cocktails are amazing. I got the Raspberry Lemon Martini and I'd get this every time I visit. It tastes exactly like raspberry sorbet and I personally love that you can't taste the alcohol but you can feel it once it kicks in. I also ordered a Lavender Bloom and it was really good but if you're not into flowery tastes I'd just stick with the Raspberry Lemon drink. It ends at 6pm, and we were seated at exactly 6pm so we weren't sure if we still made it for happy hour or not, but we were pleasantly surprised when our check arrived featuring the happy hour prices! After the hostess sat us we waited 20 minutes for the server to make first contact. The people at the table next to us got up and left when nobody came by to serve them. Finally after the server got to us we decided to order our food at the same time as our drinks. The drinks and food took forever to come out. This is my guilty pleasure. With so many options for eateries I'm the east bay, i love coming here the most for a relaxing Saturday lunch or happy hour. It's super dog friendly, so my Benji squat lays by me and soaks it all. Cyclists also drew quent here often as it's a great spot of the iron horse trail. I usuAllY ride my bike down here from Walnut Creek, take a beer break, then ride back. If you get one thing off the menu. Make it the pretzel bites. They are fluffy, salty,, and come with a light cheese dip. It's a good balance without being too salty. The house IPA is my personal favorite and keeps me coming back. Came here a Sunday afternoon after hiking Mt Diablo. Plenty of parking in the lot in front. Place was not busy and lots of seating. Big TV at the bar that had the football game on. YAY. We started with the Blond Ale 925 that was really good and some Notch Above Nachos. The Nachos were great on top with ahi tuna chunks and that avocado spicy cream was delicious on the interesting taro chips. Only problem was that only the top chips had flavor-was easily corrected when the waitress brought me more avocado cream on the side and that helped all the bottom chips. I wanted to try the bahn-mi burger but it's been off the menu for a year. Went for the fried chicken sandwich-super tasty and big with the upgraded parmesan garlic fries. The fries had a good garlic taste not too intense and plenty of parmesan. I couldn't finish my sandwich and took half home. Service was great-always checking on us but yet gave us our space. Lately I have been a three tries B, cause I know my first time tries haven't been supreme dreams. This is my third time trying this place over the last couple of months. I love their chicken wings, but the second time I ordered them they made them extra crispy, like I asked. The first time I ordered a Cesar salad I asked for "no chicken" they added the chicken. The bartenders Courtney and Lanre are amazing human beings and I would pay to visit them at any restaurants. Very kind, charming, and personable people. The third bartender I had, when I asked if she could remove some of the head of my beer she came back with "the head is usually 25% of the beer". Am I the customer or not? And when my glass is 7 inches, is she really telling me that 2 whole inches should be foam. And I don't want to brag about how much beer I drink, but I feel like she straight up lied, I have never seen so much head in my life. This is a training issue and needs to be addressed my management. Poo poo platter!!! I closed out my tab and canceled the rest of my food. Oh it was a nice top off that she put two extra beers on my tab, and when I tried to correct it she only took one off. Note to self, never come to this place on Tuesday Evenings. read more
