Tuk Tuk checks a few boxes in the Thai food category. We like it and hit the Campbell location on occasion. It's good. Not necessarily a full menue but they do have many of the standards like pad thai.

Such a great experience! The service and food were both fantastic. Our server was very helpful describing the dishes and the food came out quickly. 99% of their dishes are gluten free for those of you who prefer or require that. Everything tasted great. They have a wide sidewalk for patio seating and have a good number of tables set outside. Our faves were the marinated chicken thighs served on hanging skewers (exactly as pictured on the menu) and the fried pork chop with rice.

Went out on a Monday evening (Dec15) at 5 with a good friend as had recently moved back up to Tucson and was excited to try a restaurant I had not yet been to. She recommended and now I recommend ! Loved the coco fries sweet potato- so tasty I could not stop eating the bountiful plate of them. Love coconut and their sweet potato's - cooked perfectly. We also shared the spicy beef and rice- not as spicy as I was hoping but delicious nonetheless. A new fave place to hit on busy work nights! The service unobtrusive and professional. Place was clean and relaxing.

This is my go to Thai food spot in Tucson -- extensive menu with authentic Thai flavors and items you won't find anywhere else. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu so come hungry and try as much as you can. Bonus: thai tea with unlimited refills! The decor is also super cute. You don't have to sacrifice ambience for bomb food here. Also good to note: all the Tuk Tuk Thai restaurants in Tucson are not the same. This is the best location, so make sure to come here first!

Walk into Tuk Tuk Thai and experience a unique interior that truly feels like more like Asia than Campbell and Fort Lowell. The host and everyone on staff was kind and helpful, and our food came out quickly. I went with a group so we could order family style and try as many things as possible. Unfortunately I was underwhelmed with all of the dishes. They were expensive and lacked flavor or excitement. The Pad Thai was the best plate that made its way to our table, but it still lacked quite a bit of punch. Panang curry was aromatic and appreciated on a rainy day, but was also bland. Overall a solid meal, but not worth the price

Fresh spring bites (my favorite dish here)

There are a couple items I enjoy at Tuk Tuk Thai but also found many of their dishes disappointing and overpriced. My favorite dish here that I actually really loved was an appetizer: the Fresh Spring Bites. I thought those are so delicious and have bolder flavors than the other dishes I have tried here. Another dish that I enjoyed a little better is the Meekatee Street Curry Noodles with Tofu instead of Pork. I liked it when ordered at the highest spice level but it was a tad coconut forward and less balanced/ spiced than I like. I would get it again though if it was available at dinner time (it's lunch only). I enjoyed their Jungle curry (no coconut milk) too. I typically LOVE red curry and any curry with coconut milk but here it seems a bit unbalanced for me and the flavors don't feel bold enough/ well spiced enough for me. I particularly dislike their Pad Thai and Pad See Ew. I found the pad Thai to be very bland and the Pad see ew to be over cooked/ all broken noodles and the sauce to be one note in terms of flavor. I like the curries better but wish they were less coconut forward and had more bold spices. Same with the Tom Kha soup. I do love that they label their menu clearly for allergies and dietary needs. I wish more places did that. I find it disappointing that with such high prices they don't allow doing half tofu/ half vegetables for curries and soup and charge extra to do half and half. One reason I sometimes like to come here is the outdoor tables in front of the restaurant which most Thai restaurants here don't have and sometimes I like to enjoy the nice winter weather in Tucson when eating out. My general rating system: 1 star: I would stay away 2 stars: Has some good things about it but I generally don't recommend. 3 stars: Pretty good. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back but a decent place 4 stars: Great place. I would go back. 5 stars: I highly recommend stopping whatever you are doing and making plans to try it out! An Evie favorite!

One year later and this place is still so good. I'm still obsessed with the ping chicken and pumpkin curry. Have also expanded to trying the green curry and jungle curry. It's so nice that a majority of the items on the menu are gluten free and are labeled as so. We ate in and got takeout from here this week because it was just so good.

I can't stay away from this place. This time, friend and I had #31 soup (Tom Yum Goong which is a mildly spicy and sour lemongrass soup with shrimp, galanga roots, kaffir lime leaves, mushrooms, red onion, tomatoes, cilantro, and evaporated milk). Expect to have hard pieces of leaves, roots and stems in your soup; it's where all the addicting flavors come from. Friend was a bit put out with having to pull pieces out of her mouth but to me it was worth every bite. Also the shrimp still have the tails on so watch for that as well. We had a side order of rice which we added to the soup; it was perfect. Service, as always, was great.

It's getting chilly in Tucson (writing this in November) and I was in a mood for some Khao soi. I ordered summer rolls as well to start. Their peanut sauce is absolutely delicious! Khao soi was tasty and flavorful just the way I wanted it. I really love that they greet you in Thai when you walk in and also say "thank you" in Thai. I think it's a nice touch. Servers were polite and very sweet. Food came out so fast!! Overall great experience!

So yum!! I stopped by on my way home from Pilates and it was such a cute place with a theme. I had the Thai tea, spicy chicken dish, and mango sticky rice for dessert. The spicy chicken....oh man, it was delicious. Everyone there was attentive and nice. My tea was never empty and the mango sticky rice was worth it.

Had ordered delivery from here a month ago and it was delicious and so we decided to dine in - and wow! The food was superb, fresh and quick to come out (of note we did go in early before the dinner rush). Service was hospitable and took the time to describe and explain menu items if needed. We ordered the Ho Muk Taley off the special menu and it ended up being my favorite- a red curry seafood curry served in a coconut with which was amplified with pieces of the young coconut meat. We also ordered the Hoy Joh, Panang, coco sweet potato fries, and the Crab noodle and every single dish was flavorful. Also had the Sabai Sabai cocktail which was refreshing. Not a very large space, some outdoor seating which during the summer faces the sun and likely not popular until after sunset. Fun indoor decor. Definitely a must try if you haven't and in my case, a definite return.

spicy green beans with tofu. very delicious. dairy free vanilla cake with a coconut dipping sauce and it was delightful.

Til Tuk is our go-to for Thai food, mostly for take-out. The staff is friendly and accommodating and the food is always delicious. This time we enjoyed Panang curry with chicken and extra veggies (highly recommended!) and an extra pint of rice to go. The portions are generous and the spice levels just right.

I had ordered mild because my daughter only eats mild curry and loves pineapple. I also don't like spicy food. I called the restaurant and spoke to a male. I explained the problem. He told me that the pineapple red curry cannot be made with no spice. He offered for me to return the curry and they could try to remake it for me. I told him that my husband was eating it so I could not return it. I shared that I've gotten red curry at other Thai restaurants and they are able to make it mild with it tasting spicy. The man said to me, "I don't know what other Thai restaurants make red mild curry, but we don't." I asked to speak to the owner. He told me the owner was not there and asked if I wanted to speak to the Chef. I declined and ended the call. First of all, he was not really apologetic about the issue. Secondly, while he initially tried to rectify the situation, he ended up escalating it by arguing with me. My family will no longer be dining/getting take out from this establishment and will start recommending other Thai restaurants to our friends/family.

Karuna's has great things about it like the ability to get food at a high spice level (the highest…read morespice in town for Thai and on some days it can get quite spicy at the highest level of 5/5. Good place to go less spicy at if you generally eat less spice). I also like the tofu here. The food is usually good but can also be hit or miss. I find that 1 out of a few times the tom Kha soup and the curries can fall flat in terms of flavor complexity and are too salty. They are often good just not consistently. They have a couple noodle dishes that I find more consistent. All items with V can be made vegetarian. They are also very vegan friendly. Here's what I have tried here: -Rad Nah Flat rice noodles stir fried with kana or broccoli in a special gravy with choice of protein. I get mine with fried tofu at the highest spice level 5/5 or 4/5 if I am in the mood for less spicy. This dish is one of the main dishes that has been consistently good for me here and I almost always get it here. -Tom Kha soup: It is not my favorite Tom Kha in Tucson (my fave Tom Kha in Tucson is at Seasons Eats) but on good days it hits the spot for me. I get it with half fried tofu and half vegetables which they didn't charge me extra for here. The problem is that once in awhile it's less good and falls flat with less complexity and too much salt. I typically get Tom Kha soup at the highest spice level. It's still a go to for me here since it's good most of the time I have tried it and I like to get it with the Rad Nah Flat rice noodles. Pad Kee Mao: Fresh rice noodles or bean thread stir fried in red curry sauce with garlic, Thai chili, onion, bell pepper, broccoli, straw mushroom, baby corn, and basil. For this one I like to make a change to wide flat rice noodles instead of the thin noodles it comes with by default. I get it with fried tofu. This dish is fairly consistent for me and I enjoy getting it from time to time. -Yum Pak salad: Thai eggplant, carrot, snow peas, onion, broccoli, cilantro, cucumber, and Chinese cabbage in a tasty lime dressing. At the highest 5/5 spice level it definitely got spicy for me which can be the case sometimes with Thai salads at the highets spice level. but I also had it with a Poh Thak soup at the highest spice level so I think both built up for me together. This one wasn't my favorite because I am a little picky about how I like my eggplant ( I liked softer and very cooked typically) but I could see myself getting it again if in the mood, maybe at a 4/5 spice depending on my mood. I only tried it once. - Poh Thak soup Spicy soup with fragrant broth of lemongrass, ginger, galangal, basil, & lime. I get it with fried tofu. I really liked the flavors. At the highest 5/5 spice level it definitely got spicy for me but I also had it with the Yum Pak salad salad at the highest spice level so I think both built up for me together. I still very much enjoyed it and would get it again, maybe at a 4 out of 5 spice depending on my mood. I only tried it once. -Red Curry: Red is my typical go to curry I always get or at least start with at Thai places. It's usually good but unfortunately the curries here, which are usually my go to in Thai restaurants, are very inconsistent for me. Sometimes good and sometimes too salty and not complex. I tend to prefer to get curries, especially red, in Tucson at Nattha's Bann Thai. -Panang Curry with Straw Mushroom and Tofu: Fried tofu simmered in panang curry with coconut milk, straw mushroom, bell pepper, young jackfruit, carrot, chili & Thai basil. Fun to see young jackfruit on the menu here. Unfortunately the curries here, which are usually my go to in Thai restaurants, are very inconsistent for me. Sometimes good and sometimes too salty and not complex. Pad Thai vegetarian: I only tried it once here but it wasn't for me, at least that one time I tried and I didn't get it again. The sauce was too bland for me. It can get pretty crowded here on some weekend evenings as it's not a big space. The service is usually good here in my experience. I'd come back for my favorites or to try something new but I do keep in mind that it isn't always consistent with some dishes fluctuating in flavor sometimes and therefore sometimes prefer to go elsewhere for Thai. It's not very spicy here but consistently good. I ask them for Chilli crisp sauce on the side and love to put it in the soup too. Solid 5 stars from me for the Tom Kha soup here! I really miss their old location 4 Seasons where they had it served in a hot pot and had the picnic tables outside. At this new location now they only have disposable dishes and no outside seating. While I find the Tom Kha really perfect here, other dishes are a little less consistent for me. for example last time I got the red curry it was very watery and not quite as good. I guess we were lucky to find Luckie's as a Thai-Asian cuisine which does both. They're located in the Fry's shopping center. Inside you seat yourself at any of the open tables. I would guess they can seat about 40-60 for capacity. There are menus you can take from the counter back to your table. There are also some pictures of the dishes above the main counter to see what you might be ordering. The staff was very friendly and helpful when placing the order. We started with eggrolls which were more like Chinese Spring Rolls. Their spring rolls are much different and Thai style using the clear wrap and not fried. My brother had the chicken curry while I had the seafood curry and mom had the shrimp with lobster sauce. The rice arrives as a large scoop in a separate bowl while the main dish is in another bowl. They're easily mixed on the plate. The seafood curry was very tasty and not too spicy. It came with shrimp, salmon and mussels along with peppers and onions. The shrimp with lobster sauce was too much for mom so we took it home. The staff offered a box of fried rice to take home as well at no extra cost. Most dishes cost around $12-$18. I was glad we made the right choice for lunch.
