    Pad Thai

My favorite Thai restaurant in Tucson! The place is hidden away in a little area on Speedway & Swan. The food never misses. I love getting their Pad Thai and Green Curry. Their gai satay and tom yum koong is also extremely flavorful and delicious as well, but the pad thai is my go-to and my comfort food. I personally like calling ahead and ordering take out! Their pad thai tastes good with tofu but also with shrimp and beef as well! If you want a little spice you can ask for it spicy and they will cater to your liking. Such a great restaurant and I will try out other dishes too!

Delicious Thai food find in Tucson. The Panang curry and the Thai Toast were my favorite ( alert- the cucumber peanut sauce it comes with has a generous splash of fish sauce). The Panang curry had the right blend of each spice and I could have enjoyed as a stand alone soup as that broth is spot on! Your dishes don't all come out at the same time which we actually appreciated because they were each freshly made to order. Service was very attentive. Space for medium size groups. Located in a strip mall with decent parking.

This place came highly recommended by my fellow coworkers so I thought I'd give it a chance. Had a nice lunch the Kawr Pad was good and had some unique flavors. The waiter was also the cook so service was a little slow but not bad.

Ok. Firstly. I read on reddit and other forums how much I HAD to go here for THE most authentic delicious Thai in town. Cool. I eat a lot of lunches solo, so I am used to seating alone or at the bar area if a place has that option. I come here on a weds. around 1:20pm. The lunch rush is ending and I sit in my car until I physically can see only 2 remaining tables, the entire center of the restaurants had 4-6 person tables. All were empty. The booths were dirty but not seated in. I walk in, it takes like 5 min before I am noticed, again, all good. When he finally comes up to me, he points to the middle tables, I asked, Is it ok if I sit at one of the booths, I am aware they are still dirty, but I'll take it anyway, you get to it when you get to it, no hurry. He points at middle table and says, "No! Only these." So I decide eh.....I'll come back on a different day. OK, so yesterday, 9/29 I head in around 11:30. No one is there, I am seated in a booth, all is good in the world. Order the drunken noodles, I was not aware they are not part of the lunch special, though it seemed as if they are listed at the bottom of the lunch specials. Ok....again, no big deal. Here's the reason for the stars off. 1 off bc he was so rude the first time, and was very unpleasant this time when I asked for some siracha sauce. ( I am aware there is a shortage, so i said, or some sort of chili dipping sauce ) He looks at me and goes, "no." proceeds to bring me chili pepper flakes. The meal itself was sub par Not very "juicy" for lack of a better word. A few green pepper, the tofu was good. I just don't see myself going back. I had an iced tea and the druken noodles and it was 18 bucks. The server man was very unfriendly and I make it a purpose not to be annoying when I have to ask for things or explanations. Maybe he had a bad day but the attitude was off putting. The food was mediocre and I am going to try the other most listed spot next

Bai thong is a great thai restaurant with very flavorful dishes. The service was great as well. We will be returning to try other menu items.

Probably one of my favorite green curries I've had. Can't wait to go back! My only complaint is the portion of rice given. Wish it was a little bigger (about the size of a small bowl) and then extra rice is $2. The mango sticky rice was also great!

Top down: druken noodle, soup, massaman curry, pineapple fried rice; right most is the duck

Rounding up from a 3.5 to a 4 because of how cool the soup cooking in front of us was (fire spouting out from the center or "fire soup" as a friend dubbed it). Not as great was the duck dish which had a weird taste to it (like they had marinated it in the char siu sauce, but not quite there). The fried rice was okay but nothing amazing. The drunken noodles was pretty decent but could have been spicier. The star were the curry and soup! Loved how creamy and rich they were! I'd definitely come back for more soups and curry!

My husband and I really loved this place! We came in for lunch, and the service was great. We got the lunch specials that came with the best coconut vegetable soup I've ever had! The pad thai was amazing and so was the green curry. We will definitely come back here again.

Soup for the dac biet was a bit on the lighter side, but there were plenty of ingredients and lots of pho noodles. The shrimp spring rolls were HUGE, and it paired perfectly with the provide peanut sauce. Good service and good pricing considering the area. However the restaurant is a bit hidden in the corner of the plaza, but can also be accessed through the next door Asian supermarket (Lee Lee International Supermarket). Worth checking it out when in the area. Come and support your local small businesses!

My favorite Vietnamese food in Tucson in terms of the food itself…read more My favorites here: #16 Seasoned Julienned taro root with vermicelli noodles, pickled daikon and the typical vietnamese herbs etc and sweet soy sauce. It comes with fried tofu typically but they let you exchange the tofu with a couple of their delicious vietnamese crispy rice paper egg rolls that are stuffed with deliciously seasoned tofu (#14 on the menu) and that's my favorite way to order it. Mixing all of it together is heaven. This is by far my favorite here! I find that I generally really like taro- all parts of the plant! The root as served in this restaurant and in Thai desserts, the leaves in filipino laing and the stalk (elephant ear stalk) in vietnamese Canh Chua soup. #20 Fried rice noodles dish (ask for the crispy option!) . This one became quite expensive recently but when I had it in the past it was delicious. Definitely get the crispy version! #14: Those vietnamese crispy rice paper egg rolls that are stuffed with deliciously seasoned tofu are so good. They let you get them a la carte but the full plate comes with the sauce and herbs. I get them as part of #16 as described above so it has the sauce and herbs in that dish as well. I really love that they have a vegetarian and vegan menu and that they have the vegan sweet soy sauce available in place of fish sauce for that menu. The restaurant is attached to Lee Lee international supermarket which is an absolute must visit in my opinion for international food lovers and people who want to learn about world cuisines. It's a great place to find international ingredients that are not easily found elsewhere. My general rating system: 1 star: I would stay away 2 stars: Has some good things about it but I generally don't recommend. 3 stars: Pretty good. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back but a decent place 4 stars: Great place. I would go back. 5 stars: I highly recommend stopping whatever you are doing and making plans to try it out! An Evie favorite!
