    3. Seafood Green Onion Pancake

Very authentic Korean restaurant!! We ordered the spicy braised short ribs, seafood onion pancake and beef soup. The spicy braised short ribs is so flavorful ( must try ), it comes with radish and rice cake. The beef soup reminds you in Korea, no MSG! And the seafood onion pancake is huge, good to share. Their banchan also changes everyday! The service is friendly and many old diners and families in the restaurant- that's how you know it's a legit place! There's dinner rush so come early Overall if you are looking for authentic Korean food this is the place!

Price is reasonable. Little dishes are neat and tasty. Good place for authentic Korean food. See mostly Korean uncle and aunt eating after they play golf.

Came here 08/27/2023. This is authentic Korean family-style food. It's not necessarily a pocha or alcohol anju place, but it can be. This restaurant is similar in vibe and food style to Dine Korean Restaurant on Malvern if anyone is familiar. Food: Authentic Korean food with a variety of healthy banchan. Great value for the money. We got the bossam + fresh oyster and braised fish (dunno the English translation - silver cod?). These two dishes easily filled a family of 4 with some leftovers. Service: Service is relatively slow and they have a hard time turning over tables since there are only 2-3 waitresses and one busser. Lots of golf groups that come in during evening and night which causes a holdup. Ambiance: Loud and bustling, family style. Come with friends.

Grilled mackerel-- sooo good. I opted for the lunch special $16.99 which came with half (1 filet) of a mackerel, a miso-based soup, rice, and banchan. It was grilled to perfection, lots of crispy edges, but super soft and oily on the inside. It hit the spot. Seafood pancake (hameul pajeon) -- Daom's version just might be my favorite to date. It is pricier $27.99 than most I've had, but given that it contains seafood and was pretty generously portioned, the price point was understandable. I loved that they shredded the imitation crab meat and used it as a sort of crust on the exterior of the pancake. It added a lot of crispy edges. It was so flavorful that I didn't even need the seasoned soy sauce it came with. I also throughly enjoyed the banchan. We had acorn jelly, napa kimchi, seaweed salad and fish cake! They were thoughtful about wrapping the banchan in plastic wrap since there wouldn't be any leakage. I look forward to dining in person next time! So glad I tried a new Korean place in the area.

Foods tasted good. Only unpleasant thing was a few male golfers who were drinking was loud which affected our dinner.

cozy & authentic korean food! the service here was quick & kind. water was never empty & they helped us with trying a new dish! we ordered their: beef tartare, grilled eel, and spicy stir fried pork belly w/ kimchi. additionally, they serve quite a bit of banchan too which was all really good. the beef tartare came out first. there was a raw egg yolk on top w/ sliced apple sticks & microgreens. the apple was a nice addition to the beef tartare since it provided a clean crunch. the grilled eel came out piping hot and it was delicious!! the sauce complimented the eel very well- not too overpowering nor too sweet. it was a nice portion too. lastly, the spicy stir fried pork belly & kimchi is a must have! pork belly on its own is yummy & tender but combined with their kimchi, it elevates the whole dish. the kimchi flavor was strong & did not lack any punch. the tofu absorbed the sauce very well too! overall, it was a great meal & would come back to try more of their menu :) p.s. their barley tea is refreshing !

Finally sunshine is coming back to California, and that's the great weather for some Cold noodles. It was my first time to try the combo of cold noodles and beef short ribs from daom_koreanrestaurant in Buena Park location. The short ribs was so good with right balance of sweet and savory. And the meat was a great combo with the cold noodles which was so refreshing. Also their banchan are so delicious, they have sweet apples with potato salad which is my favorite and I never saw it the other Korean restaurant . We also order spicy intestines sizzling dish. it was a huge plate and a little bit too spicy for me , but the taste was pretty good.

Amazing Korean food, I got the Short Rib with Cold noodles and it was melt in your mouth goodness. Super authentic and the staff were extremely kind and courteous I'd recommend this to anyone who likes Korean food. Even if you don't give it a try I think you will be super happy with it.

The menu posted on the wall by each table is not accurate. Not all the dishes are available nor is the pricing correct. The print size is pretty small so my dad had a tough time ordering. They brought out a printed menu, but it was old and out of date, even less accurate and smaller - worse trying to read the tiny menu. Anyhow we ended up with bossam $50 (? I forget the price), it was good. And spicy squid stirfry $40. Not a great value for what you get. The banchan's were not made with taste in mind. They were all cut so big, like for a meat stew and just made in a basic manner. It missed the details and excellence in taste it once had. Service was ok, but they didn't have basic stuff like galbi. Overall disappointed.

Thought we had lucked out but honestly, everyone working here is super efficient and vigilant. Ordered the stir fried pork belly, corn cheese pancake, and rose tteokbokki. Corn pancake was HUGE like a large pizza. Very thin but super gooey, actually couldn't get a grip on it with the tongs because it was falling apart. Ended up having a corn cheese pancake salad but it was still great. Rose tteokbokki was pretty weak in terms of flavor, friends that I came with agreed that the flavoring wasn't as strong as it usually was, and they're regulars here! Pork belly dish deserves its own paragraph. I mean... holy. The perfect mix of salt on the juicy, fatty (and generous!) pork belly slices, the slightly sweet and sour kimchi, and soft, roasted garlic. If you're getting one thing on the menu, let it be this! Had a muscat iced drink to share for the table, we subbed out maekgeolli for milk for a nonalcoholic option. They also offered yogurt as a substitute! Very strong on the muscat flavor and so refreshing. Overall, we were in and out in about 30 minutes. I didn't even see them pick up or give back the credit card, that's how fast they move. Will be back!

You need to add your own salt which is provided on the table. It's a simple and filling soup. The Galbi Tang is flavorful with lots of meat. You also add your own salt. This is one of my go to "sick dishes" as it's very comforting. Their Yuk Gae Jang is SO GOOD. It's definitely my favorite here. It's the perfect amount of spice. It's filled with meat, noodles, and veggies. The flavor of the broth itself is so yummy and when rice is added, one bowl can be stretched to three full meals. I had this dish last week and I actually can't stop thinking about it. Overall everything here has been delicious and the portions are very generous. The banchan includes 3 dishes: radish kimchi, kimchi, and mustard greens kimchi. All have fish sauce. Service 10/10 Servers are quick, efficient, and attentive. They brought extra bowls and without being asked, brought serving spoons and scissors to cut the noodles with. I have a fish/seafood allergy and I appreciate them taking it seriously and letting me know which foods they recommended I stay away from although they did not know for certain. I wish they knew which dishes had fish/seafood so I knew for sure what was allergy safe, but I understand that it's impossible to know the ingredients of every dish. Ambiance 8/10 I've been coming here since the pandemic days when they had outdoor seating and it's always very neat, clean, and pretty quiet as well. There is plenty of parking and lots of other dessert, drink, and food places nearby. Even though it's almost 90 degrees outside, I've been craving their Yuk Gae Jang and can't wait till my next visit!
