For lunch today, We ordered soy marinade short ribs, squid and kimchi savory pancake, and grilled fish. The short ribs came out first, but on the way out of the kitchen, the server dropped onto the floor. Me and my son watched as she picked it up, took them back inside, rinsed them off with water, and then ate the meat. We waited, assuming there would be some kind of explanation or apology, but she didn't said a word. About halfway through the meal, the squid and kimchi pancake finally arrived. Since it took so long to come out, we asked why it was taking so much time. She explained that it was taking longer because the main kitchen staff had the day off today, which We were understanding of. Then, just as we were finishing our meal, she brought out the grilled fish. We was upset throughout the entire meal today, but we didn't say anything to the staff and even left a 15% tip before leaving. We kept waiting for her to say something about it, but since she never did, I eventually asked the server, "Didn't you drop the meat?" She immediately tried to justify it by saying, "Oh, that? There barely was any meat left on those bones anyway." We just replied, "Ah, is that so?" and left it at that. It really felt like the staff didn't know what they were doing. read more

I really like their brisket salad with vegetables dish even though it's kind of expensive the dressing is super tasty and I love all the vegetables in it! I wish there was a smaller portion so I can get it as a side every time I come because if I order this, I can't eat anything else because you have to eat it right away. My partner and I stopped by for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. We were able to be seated right away. We ordered the premium gomtang and the yukgaejang. I will say the service is pretty slow, I'd keep that in mind especially if you're looking for a quick meal. I will say there's about 1.5 people working the front with 12 tables, so it would probably have been better if they had 2 people dedicated to the front. Both soups were good! The menu was a little difficult to tell what the difference between the options were. I wasn't sure what really went into the premium gomtang aside from the fact that it was a combo of meats. I will say that mine was very tendon heavy, so if that's not your preference, I'd lean away from the premium gomtang. My partner liked his yukgaejang. It was our first time here, and we got seated right away. I ordered the beef brisket flat noodle soup ($21.99). These were knife-cut noodles in a non-spicy, clear beef broth. There was the option to make the soup spicy, but I thought it would've been too much for me based on the pictures I saw. However, even without the condiments, I feel that the broth could've been more flavorful. Also, for the price charged, I feel like there could've been more pieces of beef brisket. The kimchi, fish cake, and pickled peppers were really good. The peppers came in a delicious sauce that was simultaneously savory, sweet, and spicy. Amazing food and service, but please hire additional staff! My husband and I came to Brothers on a rainy morning for some hearty, soupy Korean food. I ordered the Galbi Tang, he ordered the Yukgaejang, and we shared a plate of steamed Kimchi dumplings. The food was excellent; clean, hearty, and very flavorful. We felt terrible there was only one server handling the entire restaurant all by herself! I'm sure the kitchen was short-staffed as well because the food was delayed (albeit, worth the wait if you have time to spare). The only server was busy not only seating new diners, but bringing food out, receiving and processing to-go orders, and pretty much running all over the place. I would highly recommend them hiring additional staff, at least during the lunch/dinner rush. This is rather newish place in a very busy mall so parking here is hit or miss. This really didn't disappoint. Banchan was spectacular and you can tell right away the kimchi as well as the kimchi radish is homemade and was still crisp while tasted very freshly made The superstar was the galbi Jim which we order a large and added more glass noodles which I highly suggest that you do. 5/5 special dish as while it stews the noodles absorb more of the deep broth . It also comes with rice cake so that a bonus . We also had the classic beef ribs stew and it's as good and any I've had in Korea . My only gripe was they gave us extra rice which I didn't ask for but proceed to charge us for it when the check came. In the future I'll just make them take it back read more

I came early to wait for X-Sushi to open, but my party was running late and I had about 40 minutes to kill, so I stopped by here thinking I was able to grab a drink. Yes.. it was only 10:40am on a Saturday morning and people would think that it's too early for soju, but that's how I develop patience for being punctual and putting our names down on the waitlist for the designated dining place. The hostess was very nice and approachable. She was blindsided by my request to just order soju and wait. I guess it was too early or it was weird to not eat anything so I wasn't allowed to order just soju. That was fine. I ordered a side of the pork Mandu (dumplings) and was presented with some banchan along with my Chamisul soju. I have to say that the banchan slapped so hard and good. The fishcakes were tender, flavorful, and not mushy. It had a slightly chewy texture. The radish kimchi was perfection! It was still crisp and wasn't over seasoned. The kimchi was pretty good, too, and not OVER fermented. The mandu was the best I've had in a while. It was full of pork filling and the thickness/ratio of the dumpling skin was just right. It came out hot and I loved that the pork wasn't overly cooked that it turned dry. Also, the pork flavor was just right. It wasn't overly porky. I will come back to try their soups. Honestly, their soju pricing is pretty darn good as well. I was glad to try their foods. I ate less at X-fish but it was our friend's bday lunch so it didn't matter. I would recommend the regular Dweji Gom Tang over the spicy one, and would also try to come a less busy time.
