All their dishes are great. Loved their soups (but pork stinks a little) Very authentic and well flavored! Side dishes are good and cold noodle is favorful as well. but there is only 1 server and service could be bit slow.

Amazing food and service, but please hire additional staff! My husband and I came to Brothers on a rainy morning for some hearty, soupy Korean food. I ordered the Galbi Tang, he ordered the Yukgaejang, and we shared a plate of steamed Kimchi dumplings. The food was excellent; clean, hearty, and very flavorful. We felt terrible there was only one server handling the entire restaurant all by herself! I'm sure the kitchen was short-staffed as well because the food was delayed (albeit, worth the wait if you have time to spare). The only server was busy not only seating new diners, but bringing food out, receiving and processing to-go orders, and pretty much running all over the place. I would highly recommend them hiring additional staff, at least during the lunch/dinner rush. The restaurant is located in a busy plaza sharing a parking lot with other restaurants off Beach.

Brothers Gom Tang was pretty good. The gom tang was really good but the cold noodles were pretty mid. The restaurant only had one server and it was a little hard to get things but she was nice and hustling for sure.

This is rather newish place in a very busy mall so parking here is hit or miss. This really didn't disappoint. Banchan was spectacular and you can tell right away the kimchi as well as the kimchi radish is homemade and was still crisp while tasted very freshly made The superstar was the galbi Jim which we order a large and added more glass noodles which I highly suggest that you do. 5/5 special dish as while it stews the noodles absorb more of the deep broth . It also comes with rice cake so that a bonus . We also had the classic beef ribs stew and it's as good and any I've had in Korea . My only gripe was they gave us extra rice which I didn't ask for but proceed to charge us for it when the check came. In the future I'll just make them take it back

This is my favorite soup spot in Buena Park. It beats out many of its competitors. The food is great and the side dishes (banchan) is solid! Meat portions are great and the customer service is seriously 100/10. The lady is so polite and respectful! My friend group goes there quite often and they love us! You can get rice refills for the hungrier eaters! Would highly recommend! Great prices, great service, great food! What more can you ask for? Oh yeah! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Not overcrowded!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This casual and unassuming Korean restaurant has super delicious soups. You know the food is going to be good when the banchan is high quality. The kimchi has great texture and I loved the chunks of radish. I ordered the dumpling rice cake soup. Portion is huge and I was able to save it for a second meal at home. The soup is very comforting homey, and they don't skimp out. Each dumpling was full and stuffed and there so many delicious soft rice cakes. Food came out quickly and service was good too!

Another stop for the hunt of best army stew. I can't say it exactly stood out but we demolished the pot. The kids loved their dumplings and Galbi. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Limited seatings.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

my first visit here and they already got 5 stars from me. the chive/green onion salad with brisket is amazingly fresh and good!!! the bone soup is good, but definetly add some flakes of salt in it to add lil more flavor. shortribs were delicious as well.

So so good! Broth tasted clean and the galbi was super tender. Service was good and banchan was also good. Definitely coming back

If you are ready to go slightly beyond the wonderful world of Korean BBQ, Tofu soup, and bibimbap, authentic Korean beef soup is something to try. Brothers Om Tang is the place that specializes 'Tang' which I think means soup in Korean. A couple of ways to enjoy this as a group, we ordered their signature Braised Beef Short Rib soup and Chive Pancake to share, and we ordered a few more noodles and soups. It was definitely too much food for the 4 adults and 2 kids (so we can bring some home to enjoy later) and we get to try out several things. Everything was excellent, including the complimentary appetizers. Service was friendly and prompt . The seating area was clean and comfortable, and there are plenty of parking spaces in this busy mall.

Known for their soups, I got the Spicy Brisket soup that was homey and comforting on a hot day. The banchan was fresh and tasty, the service was great! [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's a sink in the back in front of the restroom which is nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Parking can bit a busy but try looking in the back.

The restaurant is pretty huge but it gets super loud! The screens are always playing kpop groups with music playing and its always fun to watch. For food, I've tried a lot of their menu and everything is so good and shareable. The korean fried chicken is crispy, not dry, and seasoned so well! A favorite amongst the group was the beef intestine, which I've never had before and was pretty impressed by. It was super juicy and paired well with the scallions and sauce. Another favorite of the group was the corn cheese. It was like a pizza but corn cheese. My absolute tried and true is the pork belly. It is soo good, especially with the kimchi, peppers, and roasted garlic cloves. It definitely is my personal favorite on their menu! I can definitely see why this place is so popular!

They have a ridiculous policy that seems to switch from table to table. We wanted to order a pitcher of beer but since one person in our party wasn't 21 they wouldn't allow. Said policy was "everyone had to be 21". Ok perfect makes sense. BUT THEN!! a table next to us sat down and had about 6 soju bottles and SHOCKER they had kids at their table, but I thought the policy was that everyone had to be 21??? We asked about it and then they said it's because we might distribute it to our friend, yea no. They literally told us "becuase we were all around the same age they couldn't". We were not. And how do they know the parents wouldn't give alcohol to their kids? Are they just deciding when this so called "policy" takes effect? Ruined our entire night, we came just to watch the game and have a beer. Would not return.

The kimchi, kkakdugi (radish kimchi), and gat kimchi are absolutely delicious. I heard that the owner makes everything in-house, and you can really tell how much care and skill go into the food. The staff are also incredibly kind and welcoming every time I visit. Galbitang (Beef Short Rib Soup) - This is honestly the best galbitang I've had in both OC and LA. The broth is rich and flavorful, and the beef is always fresh and tender. Whenever I'm craving galbitang in the OC/LA area, this is the only place I go. Yukgaejang (Spicy Beef Soup) - The amount of ingredients they give you is amazing. I've had it both dining in and as takeout, and it's consistently delicious every single time. It's perfectly seasoned, and has just the right level of spice. As much as I love the galbitang, I think I actually enjoy the yukgaejang even more. Pork Cutlet (Donkatsu) - This place is known for its galbitang and seolleongtang, so I wasn't expecting much from the donkatsu... but why is it this good? The cabbage salad dressing that comes on the side is seriously addictive. The portion size is huge, there's no way I could finish it by myself. It has the crispy texture of Japanese katsu, while still having a great pork flavor of its own. I honestly think this could be considered one of their signature dishes. If you're looking for authentic Korean comfort food with generous portions and warm service, I highly recommend giving this place a try. I'll definitely keep coming back!

The interior is clean, newly built, and has a modern Korean hanok-style look. The servers were also friendly both times, so I didn't have any issues with the service or atmosphere. Unfortunately, the main problem for me was the food. I've eaten at the LA location before and never really thought the food tasted bad there, but at this Buena Park location, both visits gave me the impression that the food didn't taste as fresh as it should. On my most recent visit, I ordered the soondae gukbap, and the soondae had an unpleasant off smell and didn't taste very fresh. It almost tasted like it had been sitting for a while. On my first visit, I tried the regular pork gukbap, and the pork flavor was also stronger than I personally prefer. I do tend to like cleaner-tasting gukbap, but this stood out to me because I don't remember having the same issue at the LA location. After the first visit, I thought maybe it was just an off day since the restaurant was still new. But after having a similar impression on my second visit, I'm not sure if this location is consistent yet. The space is nice and the service was good, but for a gukbap restaurant, the food has to be the main reason to come back. Based on my two visits, this location was disappointing for me.

But since I moved out of LA, it's so inconvenient to get to. Enter Kyung Bok Kung -- what a find. I can get a fine dining korean bbq experience conveniently. I've been here a number of times, and this review reflects the few times I've been there. It's become the goto spot to take people from out of town who are visiting and want a Kbbq experience. Things I immediately noticed - lots of white and grey teslas in the parking lot during lunch - you know what that means? Golf Koreans. Yup. Go inside and you'll see incredibly well dressed older retired people with their buddies chatting up in private cubicles. Beautiful decor. It's like the background setting of a korean drama where there's a close-up of the guy and the girl - they're about to say something really serious to each other. The camera does a wide angle shot of them - and this is the restaurant it's shot in. Price points - this place isn't cheap, but they have incredibly good deals on a weekday lunch (cold noodles and meat set). Their dinner set course meals are priced around what you would expect from a quality steak house. This place is not as pricey as AB steak or Cote, but you're getting just as quality. Food - I've had the lunch set meals, the bbq grilled course, and ordered à la carte. One thing is for sure - they don't miss. I never had a 9 budda plate until I came here, but apparently it's like a thing that royals ate during the monarchy days. It was like a korean vegetarian taco. Very intricate (and slightly annoying) to put together but delicious - and a great test of your chopstick skills. Their braised beef (galbijjim) from their lunch set intersects savory, sweet, and tenderness in a way that only Korean grandmas do. I'm not a huge fan of Wagyu beef (just too rich and can never feel after eating it), but I have never felt that way coming out of here. Go here at night if you want to impress someone or celebrate something. Go here during lunch if you want a fantastic meal and want to see what the best korean food can taste like but don't want to break the bank.
