I went here today. It was $42 for 4 tenders with sides. 4 fish pieces with one side. They forgot my potato salad. We also had a poboy sandwich with fries. While good. I could have made this at home. The fish tasted like Gordon's fillets. Corn was canned but seasoned. The tenders did not look like fresh , some prepackaged like Tyson and fried up. While good. Just not what I was expecting. Very friendly service and the pie looked amazing. No sugar free so I could not try it. read more

Wish I was in town long enough to visit more than once but sadly it was not to be. During my only visit and for unknown reasons, I was hungry for an omelet. I know your thinking how can you one give five stars for an omelet? I would wonder the same. But this dang mushroom and cheese omelet was awesome. I have no idea what was in it or how they made it taste unlike any other omelet but it was bomb. The side of grits were also tasty but the omelet was the real prize. Staff was very friendly and seemed concerned they were taking too long to serve our family but they were very efficient. I would highly recommend a visit and I may just move up from the valley to have their omelet every day. read more

My favorite breakfast spot in the White Mountains. A old co-worker told me on my first day that I HAD to go here. And he was right. The servings are HUGE! And everything was so dang good. Service was great. We did have to wait a while to be seated, but this place is extremely popular and probably always busy. Plenty of parking. We both got separate breakfast items and then ordered the cinnamon roll (a MUST by the way...). I got my go to breakfast of ham, eggs over medium, and hashbrowns. The servings are so big, we both had leftover. You will not be disappointed in ANYTHING about this place. read more

Must have ran out of bread because was made from a cinnamon roll, no ham and not made dipped in eggs and deep fat fried . We went here when we were leaving the area for Spring Break. There was a short wait to be seated. After ordering, our food was delivered very quickly. All staff were friendly. Everyone enjoyed what we ordered. We wish we had went for breakfast each day of our break. Only issue is parking, but limited parking means the business is doing good. We would have driven through even longer to find a place to park. We will be back when we are in the area. read more

Smooth coffee that is so worth having a cup or two . Breakfast is amazing like the son of a biscuit so big it's covers the plate or county fried chicken too with crispy golden hash browns and biscuits with gravy , my parents favorite is the apple French toast which is stacked so big & fluffy and loaded with some fancy yummy toppings too . They seated 7 people very quickly and the place was packed. I went with the chicken fried steak breakfast. It came with eggs, hash browns, chicken fried steak, and biscuits and gravy. This place was is so good. I have been back twice and every time leave satisfied. The first time I got the burrito and that was amazing. Just enough spice but very tasty. The second time I got the sob son of a biscuit and that was very good. I had a bite of the awful waffle and that was incredible as well too. Honestly, this place is just ok. My boyfriend and I went here yesterday and we were excited to try because of all the amazing reviews. When we got our food, it tasted like Dennys, just not as greasy. Our server was great and very friendly, but when we got up to leave the hostess at the front said very loudly "they're finally up!" to other guests waiting as if we had been sitting there for longer than anticipated, when we were in and out within 40 minutes tops. Which made us feel weird while we were paying for our meal. Overall the food is average in my opinion, but our server was very accommodating. read more

I had the best breakfast ever here. We stay at the Whispering Pines cabins often and have never eaten here before , but it is always recommended. Plus we get a discount when we stay. This time I went here to eat breakfast. The line was out the door (which is a good sign) , but I went straight in for a table for one. There happened to be an open seat at the bar so I took it. I ordered coffee and a ham and cheese omelet. Service was fast and friendly. Food was AMAZING!!!!! Looked good and tasted GREAT! I ordered a side of bacon to go and when I got back to the cabin I devoured it. It is the definition of meat candy. I will definitely make this a to-do on the check off list when I come to Pinetop. Come on Sunday! They had a prime rib and egg special and it was incredible. Best thing we ate all weekend. Must get it Cajun style dipped in garlic butter.
